I am using glu gun stick...it's working perfectly...just cutting the glu stick same as the spring length...if the glu gun has small diameter..u just put two or three pieces of the glu sticks into the spring....it's feel smooth when braking but still feel the pressure....don't forget to try!it's worthy

just did this but swapped clutch pedal with accelerator, the brake is an improvement but isn't realistic or anything but with some practice will enjoy playing racing games a lot more because of increased car control, I did it with Logitech g29 pedals and it was dynamite with a few spring swaps

I see those plug at 0:37. Can the clutch and brake plug be swap? So I can use the far left pedal as the brake?
Yes it can. While waiting on a new brake spring (the old one broke), I swapped the plugs and using a clutch pedal as the brake.

Would you be able to tell me the distance between the screw holes in the bottom of the base? I am thinking about replacing my problematic t500 pedal for one of these, but I need to screw it to my rig.
There's 3 mounting holes on the bottom and they are 4 5/8" inches apart. (9 1/4" total)
when installing the brake mod back in its original position. The sensor gear that is white and measures pedal movement. Will it be okay i mean does it require to ne recalibrated. Or is it fine.

I used a small section of 16mm speargun rubber and it worked perfectly

@@dennis6402 sure, I just cut a piece maybe 3/4 of an inch or so and shoved it into the spring. Took a couple tries to get the right size piece to make the pedal feel good

Vampiszon most probably, a lot of companies don’t like it when us public people open things. I know it does it you open the pedal set that comes with the Logitech G920.

Why did you need to remove the clutch and accelerator pedal faces? Are you fitting this mod to them too?
He has to remove them to reach the spring.

does it work for standard t150 pedals?
no t150 plastic pedals doesnt have mechanical springs. They have something like Trigger Buttons on Gaming Controllers. Very thin and shitty. Mine got broken fast now i ordered T3PA Pro - i needed a clutch at all.
The pedals already have ''brake MOD'' in package, you can always set it how much hard you need and you don't lose warranty, so why should I do what you did?
Because the stock mod sucks that's why there are so many mods out there.

Will there be any mod of only 10kg?
The 20kg isn't that hard to push. It's actually too soft for me in terms of braking force, but the pedal actuation is much better.

i bought the Logitech g29 version and the brake pedal had no travel whatsoever, you cant even move it, feels like pressing your foot against a brick, load of garbage it is, I had to switch the accelrator spring to brake to make it have some movement but it felt completely unnatural and not very easy to know how far you are pressing it
@Gavlar Z I got the 3drap for t3pa pedals non pro, it feels good but the pro 3drap is different

Who should make this modification? Thrustmaster believe that everybody can do that. What about the warranty if something goes wrong? They should sell a pedal set with mod and another model without.
its 3 potentiometers basically hardwired to the connector.. if your soldering joints are correct.. you cant fuck this up.. its super easy.. and u can buy jumper cables that attach and u can do a 2 second solder job and be done.. new pots if want or clean them if they work after great if not replace em.. u can even increase the resolution via micro controller and have them as stand alone pedals like the new thrustmaster Tlcm

Lol, its over $35 if you're in teh usa. Im thinking of just filling the spring with a hot glue gun with teflon tape wrapped to contain the hot glue.
@Velio The hot glue becomes brittle over time but it is still softer than the black bumper that comes with the pedals. Only glue the middle of the spring about 1 inch.
@@mrmedium7984 Thats a good idea...I'm wondering if silicone would work better, I think it would stay softer and not crack...May have to try that!
@@brandos.2566 squeezing a silicone tube would be a better option and would progressively ramp up resistance as long as the tubing is pressing hard against the spring. I also thought about an rc shock
@@mrmedium7984 If you guys wanna try a really cheap mod go ACE Hardware and look for a 9/16" Top Diameter Size #00 Rubber Stopper part number 52027-B. It fits perfectly inside the spring and provides about twice the resistance. Oh and it's 53 cents...
Take brake cilinders and pressure transducer and make the right thing. All rubber mods are all about nothing.
the price of this tiny bit of plastic is obscene
It stops you from reaching 100% I just don't fucking get it when all you have to do is swap out the spring with a spring with a larger wire diameter . Please mine 2£ yours 20bucks . If am wrong tell me but I know am not as I've done it

Worst music ever
Completely waste of money. I never feel the braking level. It's so stiff and much much worse than stock conical brakes. You can't even brake because you feel like something like stone or wood underneath brake pedal. Try something else....
Hi :) Thanks for your feedback. A stronger and progressive brake pedal, like a real formula 1 brake for example, is the main goal of this mod. If it's too hard you can contact us and you can ask for a customized, softer, mod :)
