I feel like the thing with this song, and the album, is that they're not the usual "I'm gonna put this on my everyday playlist". It's a specific vibe, like a cold rainy autumn night with dim lights and a drink in your hand
I think this album took me about four or five (pun unintended) listens before I got the groove of it and started liking it. I definitely had about the same reaction as you - I was intrigued so I had to process it more. Don’t sleep on this album though, it’s great!
yes I love this one,but I say that about almost all of their songs. Honestly I love all of their albums and TBHC is underrated now but it’s ahead of it’s time and will be appreciated more as time passes
The love how laid-back and chill this album is. Weekend wake and bake music. Like the title of the album it reminds me of those old 50s, 60s hotel casino bands playing.
this album was widely disliked at first release, but as the years have passed it has become a sort of fan favourite and cult classic, with many people calling it their favourite. It is probably the album that grew the most for me through more listens. I hated it and it is now one of my favourite albums ever. just so unique and witty. if you ever decide to do a full album reaction, this is one to consider
This song took a LONG time to grow on me but now I genuinely think Batphone is one of their best songs
The more you look in to the lyrics and whole idea of the album, the more genius it gets

I launch my fragrance called “Integrity”. I sell the fact that I can’t be bought… love that👍

@@Jordi775 Dancing in my underpants
This album is definitely a grower! As was Humbug in 2009. I put them both on top of my Arctic Monkeys album toplist :)
TBH&C takes time to come round to, but keep giving it a chance.
TBHC is my favorite Arctic Monkeys album. It's such a vibe album. You should try the title track, "Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino".
My favourite song of the whole album. To my knowledge Alex Turner played all the instruments
“The Ultracheese” is great on this album . still got pictures on the waaaalllll
Listen to The Voidz Human Sadness! You'll love it!
Please review “she looks like fun” arctic monkeys!
