I usually spend $15-$20 a year on my first build, then grind from there. Knowing that I do this I stay on the old 2k until they bring the price down in November. After my 1st build gets to 99. I use it to fund my other builds.

I'm at 81, I decided to do that before u said anything about it badge. I miss the old days of the 2k teens days. Those were the best except for 18, obviously. No more money to 2k. I'm done giving it to them.
I just want a fun 2k I can play and grind without getting called trash because I am not shooting perfectly or nobody playing with me because I am a low overall and low rep. This is why I mostly play my league/ MyNBA in 2k cause I’m not trying to spend a ton of money or spend a couple months grinding out a build. Sometimes it's better when some of them quit though :p especially if they're just chucking nonsense shots and ball-hogging. 1 vs 5 is hard, but even some 2 vs 5s can be winnable (and more enjoyable) if you click with your teammate.

I Feel Some Company Should Come Out With Just Mypark For Players I use To Play For Rewards But The Game So Focused On Everything Else That It’s Not Rewarding Anymore It Used To Be Rewarding Hitting Superstar 3 And Stuff Because It Showed Your Skilled Level
With shooting i think it is good when shooting is easy because when it is easy more of the community enjoys the game and it also makes a skill gap because it allows people better at the game to use a lower 3pt and be better and have a more well rounded build. A perfect example of this is that in 2k22 current my favorite build in the game was a play glass cleaner because i could use it in all game modes including stage because of the skill gap created by making shooting easy and therefore making it viable to have a 65 3pt.

Besides the badge regression, 2k24 Gameplay is great but its the prizes and rewards that dis interests me. They should give us more rec and park gear like +1 arm bands and color leg bands for the rec. Also give more rewards like +1 attribute points. More hairstyles with designs .

Totally agree with just getting your guy to 75-80 then leveling him out. You can really get away with an 80 overall especially in bum rec. plus let’s be real this games all about badges. Anyone can clip with a 78 three this year, inside layups with the bar are the easiest they’ve ever been and this years middy is super easy as well. I truly believe this is the best 2k since 20 and definitely the best next gen. I actually really enjoy it. One thing the 2k league should do is play within the base game instead of an alt title. You don’t see other esport games making a whole different game for pros because they want to connect with the community allow the players to make unique builds to help promote diversity
I’m doing a no money spent build rn currently 86 overall. Been at it for about 2 weeks. I can hold my own in the rec with it atp. It did help I hit 100k VC on the daily spin though lol
For my career they need to make two different paths expand that also take out archetypes for my career, and add builds to the online side, like when you access online my player you get a build since a lot of people are in build mode for just the main my career they need to let you be a 99 and allow you utilize all the ratings, now if you a 7’0 guys then your stats got to be cut like on certain ratings 70 or 75 cut off for ratings that are geared towards guards. But in a nutshell they can separate the two to get the best of both worlds, but all the while still having your player walk around the city or whatever take out the dumbest side quest, and then for online my player just have a different mode for that where you can make an online build. So people who enjoy online can just play that and grind on that. But yeah the game isn’t bad gameplay wise it’s not, just the other aspects it gets stale because my career isn’t really expanded on it’s the same thing over and over like now I have seen people actually PLAY the game instead of cheesing it but I do believe if someone at Live decides to get it together 2k may be going back to the 2k10 days 😂
I work full time. I get home and can play for realistically about 4-5 hours if i don't do anything else (before i gotta get ready for bed to do it all over tmr.) If it takes 100 hours of GRINDING to get to where i can play good, then im just gonna buy VC. 2K has done this on purpose because they know most people can't spend all day everyday playing the game. Its sad to see what this game has become. Hopefully with the release of college football 25 and MAYBE the production of a new NBA live, we can truly boycott this game until they fix what they're doing.
I got 9 builds no money spent. The PlayStation tournaments are very easy to win and usually take less than an hour to win and give you 15k VC per win and there is 6 a night. 15,000x6=90k if your good 1 week can be a build.

One thing the 2k league should do is play within the base game instead of an alt title. You don’t see other esport games making a whole different game for pros because they want to connect with the community allow the players to make unique builds to help promote diversity

I’m doing a no money spent build rn currently 86 overall. Been at it for about 2 weeks. I can hold my own in the rec with it atp. It did help I hit 100k VC on the daily spin though lol

For my career they need to make two different paths expand that also take out archetypes for my career, and add builds to the online side, like when you access online my player you get a build since a lot of people are in build mode for just the main my career they need to let you be a 99 and allow you utilize all the ratings, now if you a 7’0 guys then your stats got to be cut like on certain ratings 70 or 75 cut off for ratings that are geared towards guards. But in a nutshell they can separate the two to get the best of both worlds, but all the while still having your player walk around the city or whatever take out the dumbest side quest, and then for online my player just have a different mode for that where you can make an online build. So people who enjoy online can just play that and grind on that.
But yeah the game isn’t bad gameplay wise it’s not, just the other aspects it gets stale because my career isn’t really expanded on it’s the same thing over and over like now I have seen people actually PLAY the game instead of cheesing it but I do believe if someone at Live decides to get it together 2k may be going back to the 2k10 days 😂
I work full time. I get home and can play for realistically about 4-5 hours if i don't do anything else (before i gotta get ready for bed to do it all over tmr.) If it takes 100 hours of GRINDING to get to where i can play good, then im just gonna buy VC. 2K has done this on purpose because they know most people can't spend all day everyday playing the game. Its sad to see what this game has become. Hopefully with the release of college football 25 and MAYBE the production of a new NBA live, we can truly boycott this game until they fix what they're doing.

I got 9 builds no money spent. The PlayStation tournaments are very easy to win and usually take less than an hour to win and give you 15k VC per win and there is 6 a night. 15,000x6=90k if your good 1 week can be a build.

One thing I want them to change for 25 is defense yes they “buff” defense this year but that didn’t really change anything all they did was increase steals rate and took them half the year to nerf them when I mean change defense make the interior good again like it was in pass game cause it really dumb for a person to go up on someone with a high interior defense and it come out to be “open” or lightly contested make it balance on each side of the ball call it yapping idc 🤷🏾♂️
Make the contests on perimeter off the fade and dribble a bit better
