Hi Debra, so nice that you have the beach there to bring you some peace, and help get centered. I’m binge watching your videos because I’m behind. lol! I think I just got a notification for another one. 👏👍🏼🌺

When I first started trying to have a portable potty with me, I was using hay/straw and wood shavings.
I’ve read that it decomposes like that.
Yours is much more clean, tidy and convenient.
    Nice to know.

Hey there - nice to see a little adventure on Vancouver Island. That is our home-base - we bought a 62 acre island for the rest of the year (6 months) and are back here for the winter. Good luck on your wonderful journey... this is all such fun!!

Hi Debra! Liked your video and favorite rest stop! Looks great for winter car camping and Canada has great rest stops! The ocean view is beautiful and yes relaxing! But glad you have someone to hang out with for a little visit!
Like your idea of your potty bags with the wood chips that way you can pop them in the potty bucket and it’s more convenient! Hope your weather stays nice! Here in northern Illinois the temps are mild but the nights are chilly between 44-59 degrees ! Day highs can be as high as 77 degrees! Till next time Take Care out there but enjoy!!!👍🚗💕🍂🍁😎☀️

Thanks Debra 🥰 🤍😋 Wow! You guys have awesome weather this time of year. I drove through the New England states during fall many years ago and that was the most beautiful fall colors I have ever seen 😍. Have an awesome week ❤️

Awesome reality tips and tricks. Thanks so much. Have you started to feel more in tune with nature, weather etc.? I really did on my one month camping trip. Lovely rest area.

@@silliesallie302 Thanks 🤍 Yes. Nature is my place, and I'm adjusting to the rain, especially now since I rearranged my living space to manage more efficiently when spending more time inside.

Wow, beautiful rest stop. This is good to know for when I go to Alaska. I get house bedding pellets from the farm and home here in the USA. They are pine and I love the smell. Cedar pet bedding works well too but is a little less absorbent. I basically pee into a large funnel that in a laundry detergent bottle, a female urinal or a Nutella jarat night and empty the morning but I use the horse bedding pellets in my poop bucket. Thank you for taking us along to your beautiful rest area spot and showing us around. Blessings.

Hi Debra, hope your day is great. The pellets can be used for two purposes, the dump station and even as a heat source if needed. Could you order the pellets online and have them ship them to your storage address possibly? Anyway today take in the beauty and all the surrounding in our world, and your strength within .Take care all these new names for rain ,atmospheric river how brainy is that, I guess !What ever floats your boat.

It seems like I was waiting for my pin for while. Maybe it will still come? I'm sure you've thought of this but maybe double check the address you used when you applied? Hope it comes soon!

Hi!!! Feelings can be shared, they don't have to be SPARED (Personal Preference/Optional) 😉😉😉. Church can be @ the beach, it can be ANYWHERE 🤲. It looks like a very nice atmosphere to frequent. I'm relieved that you didn't have to drive far to find the pine pellets, nor to put the trip off to the following day! The least we expect, the less we are disappointed, Truesay, right 😊. You checked your mail, GOT the pellets, & went to a place that you much enjoy. That alone would be a GOOD day for me. Maybe something good to eat would top it off 😅. Back to your video.

Just wanted to offer something instead of pine pellets, which can take up a lot of room. I've used them and stopped. Anyway, get either dog pee pads or people pee pads, which ever is cheaper. They are light and don't take up much room. I use them for #1 & 2, believe it or not, and with a5 gallon trash bag as the liner, it's a great option. Try it and see what you think.

    • @NorthofSomewhereNomad
      @NorthofSomewhereNomad  2 місяці тому

That definitely wouldn't work for me, but thanks for offering the suggestion

Hi again. I FINALLY 🙄🙄🙄, just finished watching your video 😊. How ironic that you mentioned making Chicken Soup, I made some today 😋. Have you tried/used Turmeric Spice? I luvluvluvluv it. I'm happy that you have a friend to spend time with. TYFS.
P.S. $ 12.00 for a Rotisserie Chicken??? Oouuch 🤣. P.S. I like your headwear, did you make it?

Just my .02 but the filming is hard to watch. Maybe setting the phone down while you go searching for food instead of filming 10" away from stuff/ you, set the phone down on the dash. Watching it is like being on a rollercoaster... so for me, I just shut it off. 😮😊
