❤😊 it looks like a nice setup for rainy weather. I hope you will have money to treat yourself to the occasional hotel room, when you have to move your camp during the winter. I pray you have a mild and less rainy winter than normal. Thank you for showing us your setup. Blessings.
Hi Debra wow you made this tent very homey 👍👍for all your decorating and set up! It looks like your set and did a great job! Thanks always for sharing your journey with this community! I really love ke the idea of a milder winter there on Vancouver Island! Take care out there! Do bears come around those parts! LOL 🍂🍁🐾🌲🪵🐦🔥🐻💕👍
Each day gives us a lot of opportunity to make this world feel this is very much our own personal choice to live and do whatever comes our way. Thanks for the plan for everything as you say. Thrift stores are also good ways to save some money. Take care on your adventures
I have used the little buddy propane heaters for heat the past 10 years. I buy the 10 foot hose from the same company it works better less problems and haven't needed to use a filter when I used their hose for the little buddy. I have a 1 gallon propane tank and the 5 gallon ones also because I am on my property most the time. I leave the propane tank outside. These heaters put out a lot of moisture you have to vent but my carbon monoxide detector has never went off but I don't run them when sleeping. I live off grid in a 40 year old drafty trailer and it has gotten down to near zero fahrenheit the past few years. I used to burn wood for heat but gave that up about 5 years ago. Just watch the forecast in the winter and plan to be near a shelter or have some heat options if it gets too cold ❄️
Debra, how cozy, warm, homey can you get, yah!!!! You did a fantastic job👍. Now relax and enjoy it👍 Have you ever thought of getting a pet for company? 👍🤗
Hi, I was just wondering if your trunk light cuts off automatically at some some point. Great video. Thanks. Never mind you always answer my questions lol
Such an awesome set up. Could you please let me know about that camping lantern with the 4 settings? It looks perfect for having a relaxing light, as well as one for when you need light to get tasks done. Thanks!😊
Such a cozy abode. You mentioned snow. In that event, you might need a long handled brush to sweep it off the top of your tent. Do you use a gas stove for cooking?
So cool but might be too much work for me by myself to set up. My 07 Pilot- I would have to figure out where to put big tent between camps. If it’s wet… my whole interior be wet. I hope it works great for you! I would definitely want this if I was camping with my son or daughter w the grand kid.
Did you know they have sleeping bag outfits? Like a full pant suit with long sleeves and a hood that's made out of sleeping bag material and you can walk around in it? Are you going to have to do that every two weeks? Or are you going to be in spots longer? I just hope you are warm enough, that tent is very roomy. I hope it works for you. Can you let us know how noisy the tent is during the wind?
I have a polar fleece onsie with a hoodie which is super warm, especially when in my sleeping bag. I haven't seen the sleeping bag onsie but it is brilliant. I will definitely let you know about wind, etc. Thanks for the tips 🤍
I’m not sure if this is the same thing as mentioned below but Amazon sells heated camp chairs-the back and seat are heated. 3 heat settings-can run off any standard USB portable battery.
I'm really immersed in the whole car camping experience, and currently planning for my first trip. Your videos are fantastic! How long does it take you to set up the tent by yourself, and how long did it take you to get comfortable doing it?
@chicknthesticks That tent takes me about an hour. When I first started it took up to 3 hours. I got faster and more organized each time. It's totally doable. Just pace yourself and celebrate each little task completed.
Good video! The payoff after the set up is seeing the inside, and how you set that up. Personally I cannot have too many tables!! Constantly bending down to retrieve stuff Gets really old for me after a while! I think you're off to a great start. I like the fairy lights.. I don't have them.. I might consider for my tent.
Pretty courageous. But I think it will get pretty cold in winter. 🪴Some hobby gardeners use layers of bubble wrap for their small greenhouses for warmer temperatures. You might even wrap it around yor seat, and then use some blankets over it. I'd even put it over my tent for insulation. During daylight the sun could warm bubbles and tent.🌦 Won't the ground under your tent get soaking wet?❄️ Or will it even freeze, on icy and snowy days? 🤒Don't get sick. Don 't get frostbite. ☘️God bless you today and always.

Thanks so much 🤍 Yes, if I really need a break I can get a hotel room but only if I'm really struggling.
Awe❤ you have it looking so cozy the lights make all the difference I'm liking your rv tent more and more
Thanks so much 🤍
You could also close the hatch at night for more security..Then as you open it up the next morning it should still be attached

Thanks so much! Yes bears come around, though I'm bear aware. I haven't encountered one *knock on wood * Everyone says they are pretty mellow

You're awesome for living off grid. Your heating systems sound super useful and efficient. Thanks for the tips 😀
Love your tent .. that'll make a world of difference. I'll be following along with your journey.
Thanks so much 🤍

Thank you 🤍 I do, sometimes. I'm not sure if right now is a good time for a pet, but perhaps in the future

Most newer vehicles have an automatic shut off for lights and radio etc, it's a battery protect feature
I don't believe it does.
@@davidpaul7707 my 2019 fiesta does not have for the one light near the trunk
@@ClairenParkerontheRoad then u can do what she does, flip the lock, hit the lock on your remote and the lights will go out in a few seconds
What kind of vehicle do you have? I loved this video and your ideas! 😊❤

I'm getting a snow brush and little shovel soon. No, I use my electric rice cooker.

The tent setup is a bit of work, but so satisfying once it's done and you camp for a week or two.
Extremely homey, love it.
Thank you! 🤍
thanks for the video. Love it
Hi Deborah 👋
I would be worried about about rodents chewing through the ⛺. Do you have a solution ready for that?
Looks cozy. Good job 👍!
@@paxy2011 I don't at this moment, but it's something to consider.

Do you have links for all the products you use in your tent? That would be so helpful!
