Oh my God, bless you for this! Never thought about it like "positive thoughts toward smoking as the only means to stop the cravings." It’s been 7 days and cravings are overwhelming. I know I don’t want to smoke but my addiction wants me to. I have a million reasons why I don’t want to smoke, my mom is bedridden and she is only 62 years old. I want to see my children grow up and raise their children. I want to breathe better. I want to feel better. I want to smell better. I want my children to have clean air. My addiction is sitting here waiting patiently for me to get weak. Consciously and subconsciously I’m thinking about smoking, it’s obsessive, minute by minute hour by hour. I’ve been smoking for 25 years. It’s so hard changing an unconscious habit. It’s hard for me to imagine climbing a mountain. The thing I miss the most is the dopamine rush from smoking. I feel like I have no energy or motivation. I don’t want to be chained to this addiction anymore.
@@FaithFilled. I’m doing good. Still not smoking. I do have a crutch to help with the cravings, nicotine lozenges. They help quite a bit with dopamine levels. I also started taking supplements, I think it helps with energy and motivation. I can’t believe I’ve gotten this far. Pretty happy.
Started smoking at 21, haven’t missed a day for 7 years until yesterday. Couldn’t even sleep a full night without hitting a vape to put me back to sleep. 24 hours in felt like I was getting exercised by a priest with a whole ass demon inside me lol. Feels a bit better on day 2. This is hard but I’m not giving up
I quit 7 days ago. Been smoking 2 or 3 cigarettes a day (4 on a tough day) for 20 plus yrs. Im using the patch for now & hope to ween myself off of it after a conversation w my Dr. at the appropriate time. The 1st 3 days were the worst. Now when I jones for 1 I think of the taste in my mouth after a cigarette & the night my breathing was labored that made me say enough. Here are the other things I remind myself of if I start thinking about smoking a cigarette: the plaque that Im now slowly removing from inbetween my teeth, the same in my arteries, the palpitations in my heart I sometimes experienced, what my breath must smell like to others, lying about being a smoker, not being able to smell anything anymore, spending $12.65 for a pack a week to significantly shorten my life, dirty looks given by nonsmokers, how going for a "walk" & smoking a cig has replaced so many more constructive things as well as socializing. I could go on. Ive quit b4 but to be honest I enjoy it a lot but after last week feeling winded & smelly was what made this different. I wont ever preach to others but wil support those trying. Fingers crossed but I really do feel done with it.
I have set a firm and final quit smoking date said date is April 5. This time around My Mum will be holding me accountable Since she has always been a non smoker and she will always remain that way she is 1000% Anita smoking she hates smoking. I have also made two UA-cam videos of myself promising Myself that I will never ever smoke again because once My last pack is gone. Whenever I was five years old I said to my Mum that I hate smoking because it really stinks then I vowed to myself that I would never. Smoke cigarettes since they are horrible for you now here I am today! I’m a 21 Year old Psychology major I am smoking in spite of the fact that I know that smoking is horrible for Me dam just dam. I know that my smoking addiction is 80% mental and only 20% Physical therefor I have to rewire my mind into being a non smoker.
It's been some months since I quit smoking, I don't usually drink but I started to drink a a couple of beers and it's triggering the hell out of me. I'm trying to push through, trying to fight the urge to have a cig. Even if I smoke one, I won't consider it a failure. Just start all over again.

Hi Deniz, thanks for your comment. Please know that quitting smoking does not start by quitting smoking, it starts by preparing. When you prepare for your quit before it happens, you will succeed! To prepare, start watching the 4 quit smoking stages of the CBQ method. This is stage 1: ua-cam.com/video/IVYQslTFS5Q/v-deo.html You've got this!
I decided to quit cold turkey last night. it is now 1:43 pm the next day and I'm stressed af already. I'm so used to having a cigarette with my coffee. Send me all the good vibes, please. I really want to quit. This is about my fifth time trying to quit.
But do you see how this is still feeding the loop? Going up the hill and back down? That’s a loop. We are trying to break the loop. The only way to do that is by stopping. Most people stop and still crave it after it’s all out of their system. It’s not a scary thing it’s something to jump in the air about and be happy 😝😁 you stopped smoking! It’s like driving a American car all your life and then buying a brand new European car. The indicator and wipers will take a while to get use to (the trigger of a craving) but you’re so excited about the new car you don’t care because you know you will get use to it hahaha

Hi, congratulations on quitting smoking! 🎉 Keep moving forward. You can do this! 💪 In this other video below, Nasia shares 1 tip on how you can enjoy social situations even when around other smokers: fb.watch/4BGkA9kFoG/
Boredom. So true. I'm currently unemployed and find myself smoking more. My stress keeps me up at night so the more i stay up is the more I smoke. Bad habit. 😢
@tshewangtenzin624 Hi. I'm no expert, just sharing my experience. Trying keeping yourself busy and stress free 😌. If I'm busy with housework or anything, I don't even think of smoke, but when I'm stressed, angry 😤 darn it, I just want one cigarette after the other. Keep positive and remind yourself that cigarette is a bad and costly habit, soon you, myself, and many others here will quit.
I feel overwhelmingly connected with everything when i don't smoke, i can not escape my connective ness. When i smoke i am able to use my mind intellectually, for literally any thing i think of. The people around me are letteral all the time, and with smoking i am able to be in the same state of mind. it's not the craving for Nicotine, That is easy to see as a process.
Hello, the idea of climbing a mountain is not triggering to every smoker, it's actually really helpful for most people. If climbing a mountain doesn't work for you, you can imagine riding a wave instead. If you still want to smoke or feel like you're struggling, you may be using willpower to resist smoking.

How are you doing today?
@@FaithFilled. I’m doing good. Still not smoking. I do have a crutch to help with the cravings, nicotine lozenges. They help quite a bit with dopamine levels. I also started taking supplements, I think it helps with energy and motivation. I can’t believe I’ve gotten this far. Pretty happy.
Bro I’m so anxious right now and this video is really testing my patience
Started smoking at 21, haven’t missed a day for 7 years until yesterday. Couldn’t even sleep a full night without hitting a vape to put me back to sleep. 24 hours in felt like I was getting exercised by a priest with a whole ass demon inside me lol. Feels a bit better on day 2. This is hard but I’m not giving up
Read many of the other comments. I gave ones I can relate to a thumbs up, also this informative video! Thank you!
Day 3 without smoking! Craving are more often and I'm on edge
day one of quit smoking . i fucked up with my last cig before 1hr . now i hope the the nicotine content will be a little lower with me
Perfect! Thanks for this suggestion 🙂
Its been 4 days, I think I will never be happy again

I have set a firm and final quit smoking date said date is April 5.
This time around My Mum will be holding me accountable
Since she has always been a non smoker and she will always remain
that way she is 1000% Anita smoking she hates smoking.
I have also made two UA-cam videos of myself promising Myself
that I will never ever smoke again because once My last pack is gone.
Whenever I was five years old I said to my Mum that I hate smoking
because it really stinks then I vowed to myself that I would never.
Smoke cigarettes since they are horrible for you now here I am today!
I’m a 21 Year old Psychology major I am smoking in spite of the fact
that I know that smoking is horrible for Me dam just dam.
I know that my smoking addiction is 80% mental and only 20% Physical
therefor I have to rewire my mind into being a non smoker.
You're on the right path Cameron, you have the knowledge now you need to act on it. :)
Did you manage to quit?
No I did not manage to quit smoking yet.
@@cameronpagnani4818 best of luck for your next attempt
It's been some months since I quit smoking, I don't usually drink but I started to drink a a couple of beers and it's triggering the hell out of me. I'm trying to push through, trying to fight the urge to have a cig. Even if I smoke one, I won't consider it a failure. Just start all over again.
No that's absolutely failing even if it's one cigarette and it's weak minded
Good job Nasia. i managed to quit with a group therapy in my town, think like 4,5 months ago. anyway, alwais enjoyed your videos even before when i was a smoker. i said to myself 1st i go to the group therapy cuz its free, then i try with your method if it doesnt work. Was alwais curious about your method. good job helping people!
Thank you Bodgan. Congratulations on quitting smoking. Keep at it!
@bill Bloggs Hi. Maybe you should try Nasia Davos Method here.. see how this goes... about group therapy, for me went well for exemple, i'm still not smoking, and we still have a meeting once a month. i never take the patch. Hope you find your way out of smokes!!! cheers & good luck!!
Instead of thinking " I'll go cause it's free" , go because you wanna be "smoke free" instead!
It's wonderful to be helped by such a beautiful and positive Lady. Thanks!!!
Thanks, Nasia!
Today's my 1st day.. I hope it goes well
Mine too. We can do it 👊
@@laurabarrett8660 I gotta be honest .. I can't go any further.. but for all of those people trying so hard, my respect always lies between you.. yesterday I gave up,I couldn't take anymore..
Did it worked fot you?
thanks Nasia....you are amazing....as I'm climbing that mountain, I'm also thinking about how out of breath I would be as a smoker....LOL...I also really like your "deep breaths" technique as an emergency craving buster.....
Thank you Michelle. I'm happy you like the techniques :D Wish you success!
it works at the end i also feel fresh waoww
I'm holding my chest and where I inhale but I'm going crazy climbing the mountin , thinking about a ciggie , I'm at the top of the mountain Laughing but the craving is more. What am I doing wrong ?
When i'm trying to quit, i feel like i'm going to die if i don't smoke. I don't know why but i'm feeling too freaking bad and i can't even think about anything. But i'll try this method tomorrow morning. I hope it make sense this time. God, i'm feeling patheatic right now.
Hi Deniz, thanks for your comment. Please know that quitting smoking does not start by quitting smoking, it starts by preparing. When you prepare for your quit before it happens, you will succeed! To prepare, start watching the 4 quit smoking stages of the CBQ method. This is stage 1: ua-cam.com/video/IVYQslTFS5Q/v-deo.html
You've got this!
Going on week 2 of no vaping. I feel depressed and grumpy. Feels like what’s the point. Hoping this passes soon
Hope that everything is ok and you stayed committed to quitting it’s not easy I almost gave in just now but searched up this UA-cam vid
It is just a battle between addiction and your will power....
This helps me so much! 💪
Thank You!!! ♥♥♥
Thanks for the tips everyone it might help me
3 Days passed without Nicotine..😊
beautiful woman , thank you for your work against the tobacco industries
Thanks for this, Ill try to use it!
I decided to quit cold turkey last night. it is now 1:43 pm the next day and I'm stressed af already. I'm so used to having a cigarette with my coffee. Send me all the good vibes, please. I really want to quit. This is about my fifth time trying to quit.
I don't do "good vibes", but I will pray for you now.
Gum works for me it’s been a week when I want to smoke I’ll chew gum but it’s hard when I smell it that’s the thing I struggle with being around ppl who smoke
Hi, congratulations on quitting smoking! 🎉 Keep moving forward. You can do this! 💪 In this other video below, Nasia shares 1 tip on how you can enjoy social situations even when around other smokers:

Boredom. So true. I'm currently unemployed and find myself smoking more. My stress keeps me up at night so the more i stay up is the more I smoke.
Bad habit. 😢
This is what I’m going through too
@tshewangtenzin624
Hi.
@@SMKajee thank you so much
really appreciated…
i will keep those things in mind and work on it

Your videos helped a alot
Thanksss 😋🤗🤗🤗🤗
I feel overwhelmingly connected with everything when i don't smoke, i can not escape my connective ness. When i smoke i am able to use my mind intellectually, for literally any thing i think of. The people around me are letteral all the time, and with smoking i am able to be in the same state of mind. it's not the craving for Nicotine, That is easy to see as a process.
3 months down ❤️
Im gonna try❤
It's my 7th day without smoking feeling good but I been cravinggg
Don't you know that the idea of climbing a mountain is triggering to a smoker? Makes one want to light up even more.
Hello, the idea of climbing a mountain is not triggering to every smoker, it's actually really helpful for most people. If climbing a mountain doesn't work for you, you can imagine riding a wave instead. If you still want to smoke or feel like you're struggling, you may be using willpower to resist smoking.
Also try taking deep breaths & breathing out slowly also make your lips into a tight circle like this 😮 and such in air this helps me
