Looks like that wire will rub through..You "pinch" it on some metall to hold it up, those metals most likely has sharp edges which rubbes through and shorts the circuit eventually. Use something rubber, rerout it, tape it up or something..
Keep up the great videos. Eventually the powers that be at YT will fix their algorithm so your videos gain more traction. I also own a 2018 M3 LR and rely on your videos for maintenance tips and cool upgrades. I may do this one as well. I already upgraded the lights in there so this could very well be overkill.
What the heck there is a vent to the inside of the cabin at the top of the trunk where the rear shelf is? My 2022 dual motor is solid and there are speakers there.
Thanks. I just bought one and watched your instructions. Your instructions are much more complete than the video from Abstract Ocean. Great job!
Works totally great on the M3 Highlands
Great video very simple, straight to the point and easy to understand.

That's a good find!

Sometime after 2019 Tesla got rid of the vent opening into the trunk. It helps with the subwoofer. I don’t know why they got rid of it.
Did you open a hole in the upper deck of the trunk? Why? I'm so curious
That was standard from 2017-2019. I think Tesla closed the vent sometime in 2020.
