It's 100% true. Hard to detach w the shared life of 30 years but the first step is understanding the reality of what is happening. And 2nd to make more boundaries. Self love

A cult does that too. It’s like a huge multi person narcissist. Like how the military strips you of your name, freedom of movement and main forms of expression or communication. Then when you get SOME of those freedoms back they reticule those who leave or make it seem like leaving is almost worse than death.
Some never really move on once they leave…. But others, though changed, find that life outside the narcissistic cult is far better than the best days in the cult.

Spot on. The narcisist isolated me from almost everyone I have known, totally destroyed my trust in those people, who sided with him. My whole social and even professional circles have been shattered. Without online help and support which I have received from kind souls like you, I don’t know what I would have done. My mom did not let me have friends or hobbies or even family relationships growing up. She told me my family didn't care for me and told them I was a crazy bad witch child. She told neighbors the same. She homeschooled she said bc I was too sick with asthma to go to school while she refused to give me my asthma maintenance meds.

Yes, I know it firsthand. Fortunately, it wasn't my wife.
One time I went out to eat with a bunch of coworkers, there was about 15 guys and only 3 girls. I was running late and was one of the last people to get there, and ending up taking the last available seat: next to 2 guys. We ended up taking a picture and I sent it to him. Guess who got yelled at cause they sat next to 2 male coworkers...

Its taken almost 40yrs....n i realized this when narcissist husband tried to break my relationship with kids now n everyone in contact with me before
We all have autoimmune conditions n kids need me n i need them cos i have multiple sclerosis
But narcissist husband cant see this ....we all feel it but can't do anything
Cos the world believes narcissists and the people give the narcissist confidence to carry on the cycle

With a Swiss Army knife it's easy to cut this net and free yourself..

When you discover that you are al alone and you have constantly arguing, you have never ever so much row with someone in your life then with him ..run ...make it good with youre family and tell them whats happening.
The Narcissist wants to have kids so you stuck in the house no work and make your life miserable
When they expose you to weed at a young age it does it very much so.

Listen I need your help very badly,my husband is a narcissist,they tried to caged me in a home then,badly beat me up.I am in trauma bond how can I heal from this.psychologist in my country is not that well.I trust your opinion more.
Lol why tho ?? LDR tried to make me move to a different state I seen all the red flags earlier on only stuck around to see how her mind works and why she moves the way she moves . You’ll think the narcissist would be drained from dealing with multiple people
