- Utilizing the Quad Remesher addon in Blender you can turn your hard surface modeling projects into quad based meshes very fast. This works best if you are building your models with quad remeshing in mind. In this tutorial you will learn how to start working in this manner with a minimal amount of errors and generating good but not perfect results.

Update Video: There is an addon that makes this process even easier you definitely want to check it out. ua-cam.com/video/NN_2uR-IXUI/v-deo.html
Oh yeah I've enjoyed this video, it'll help a lot !! Really nice workflow AND explanations. You're one of my best YT channel 👍🏼
Omg just give this man an Oscar in hard surface already.
Very helpful workflow! Thank you!
This video is pure gold for anyone learning Blender.
I am about to reveal my shame to the world. Totally didn’t know this after over a year of using quad remesher.
I’ve rarely dealt with more than a quick easy remesh. Your last video talking about the split normals changed my game, and now this has too.
I’m also trying out the curve face color addon you recommend in your follow up video.
What I’m trying to say is thank you.
to be fair, there aren't a lot of videos on using quad remesher. Not like this anyways.

any chance you could download or show us how to lower poly of a vehicle using quad remesh. what and how would you go about doing it. what would be your "best practce" tips?
I haven't yet done it "by material" yet but I am having a hard time keeping poly low and being able to keep the main areas of shape so really curious.
thank you
New to Blander here, first I thought it was a high quality CFD mesh when I first saw it...
Wish there was a way to mesh not just the outside surface but the volume inside same as well, that would make Blender one heck of a structural/cfd FEM mesher.
Never thought about it. Interesting idea.
are you using a Mac computer?
You can try Curve Face Color Addon from Kushiro on his Gumroad for free , it applies material to the mesh based on face angles , please make a video about it
I must of missed that one. This should be interesting.
@@pzthree just saw the video , ty for making an update
Thank you, will be using the addon too for sure.
@@pzthree happy to help
Thank you for suggesting this. I saw his follow up video because of this comment.
