The Bangles version of "Hazy Shade of Winter" is great.
Prince originally wrote this song for his girl group Apollonia 6 but after listening to A6 recording it he wasn't satisfied with the lead singer's vocals so he offered it to The Bangles which thankfully it made it onto the charts.

Hi Connie My Name is Yacine Also If you listen carefully to J Giles Band Centerfold it has the bangles mixture because that Na Na part came from Mesmerized and the Whistling came from Walk Like An Egyptian is the same as J Giles Band Centerfold song

Back in the mid-80's, the Bangles were one of those bands that I never had on my radar when it came to new hit singles (Walk Like an Egyptian, If She Knew What She Wants......). But they were there again and again then out of nowhere and I liked their songs. They became part of the soundtrack of my school days.
Love this band, always perks me up!!

I highly recommend reacting to Susanna Hoffs solo music. In my opinion it's just as good as the music she made with The Bangles. Songs I recommend are "My Side Of The Bed", "All I Want", "Unconditional Love", "Picture Me" and "Raining".
Mondays to me are just another day. When one does the same tasks and is regimented to do the same thing over and over again, the days just blend...especially if you don't have daylight to tell.

Prince was a genius! He churned out song after song, he couldn’t stop. His mind was full of ideas, new melodies and lyrics. Write till his death. He could pull out a new song like it was nothing and it would be an instant classic.
The keyboard reminds me of the harpsichord, romantic songs of the 15th-18th centuries. Very upper-class, mixed with pop rock and relatable lyrics. Nice. Thank you, again, Prince, you gave so much.

The Bangles are one of the best heavy-harmony bands of all time. The four of them together sound like heaven. "If She Knew What She Wants" is another one of theirs that really showcases their hamonies.
