China's New Bomber H-6k Represents Great Leap in Long Range Precision Strike

- China's self-developed H-6K medium-long range bombers which made their debut at Thursday's massive V-Day parade represent a great leap the Chinese military has made in building up its long-range precision strike capability.
The pilots and commanders from an aviation division of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force had been carrying out regular practices ahead of the V-Day parade. The division is the first to be equipped with the new H-6K bombers.
Heavy fog shrouded an airport in northern China where the training base of the H-6K bombers echelon is located, on Wednesday, just one day ahead of the V-Day parade.
Training went on as usual. More than 10 H-6K bombers took off and flew in formations that had been set up for the parade.
The three-hour training covered subjects including interception above the cloud, flying in formations through cloud, and taking off and landing under adverse weather conditions.
"It's mainly the airflow that jolts the aircraft. As soon as you get into the right position, the aircraft would miss the position after being jolted by the airflow. And this situation would repeat itself. But what we aim to do is to keep the deviation within one to two meters amid strong airflow," said Zhu Bin, head of the aviation division.
As a new type of medium-long range bombers, the new H-6K bomber has been 90 percent modified based on the last generation of H-6H bombers.
"It is capable of long-range precision strike and aerial assault. Compared with the previous H-6H bombers, it has three advantages, namely long range, higher bomb-carrying capacity and more precise strikes," said Zhu.
The pilots have come up with solutions to obstacles facing the close formation of large aircraft during the V-Day parade. They were able to make precise formation with a margin of less than 1 second.
As the PLA air force's earliest bomber troops, the division has participated in six National Day parades.

it is a upgraded Tu-16, nothing fancy, with modern avionics and electronic equpiment, it has better payload and can carry up to 6 curiser missile with battle radious of 2000+ km
The Xian H-6 might have been a licensed version of the soviet tu-16 bomber from the 1950s but after 2005 the chinese upgraded everything from engines to the LCD cockpit to new radars and avionics and even upgraded the whole airframe with more carbon fiber and in the end the new H-6K is as good as any modern strategic bomber. This thing can carry six cruise missiles at a time plus some more bombs. And it flies higher than most radars can see.
which precision strike craft or missile is best to take out terrorists? and to limit collateral damage?
So whatcha smokin' these days cardude?
@@miked9000 a bomber is supposed to out maneuver what exactly?
@@d1492ay
Turbulence, storms, taking off and landing, steep ascents and descents are all things that stress an airfrane.
Wear and tear, rusting, and metal fatigue degrade the integrity as well.
This is why civilian air planes that show no notable issues, are taken out of service after around 25 years, and bombers have a hell of a harder life than a 737.
@@miked9000 the design is 50 years old, but the newer 6k versions are built with the last 10 years, and shouldn't be falling out of the sky. And these type of bombers (H6, Tu95, B52) shouldn't be out maneuvering anything but weather.
Old designs can still be effective, especially with stand-off cruise missiles. Ever hear of a 60 year old plane called the B-52?
Looks 1960's, 1070's tech.
It's a modernize Soviet bomber. China has a habit of copying the Russians for some reason.
In fact, the world's bomber technology is not a big breakthrough in the last 50 years
US also using the old B-52
Don't matter if it can carry bombs
The plane has a simple design that works, I'm sure that it's more than capable of getting a mission complete.
Yes! Mission to wuhan!!
Mission: target drone
Nice Cold War-era SAM bait
nice bomber........................................................... 50 years ago
New gen on the way
but it is enough to against countries like india viename
the new gen will even have youtube capabilities. pilots will be able to connect to youtube via satellites, without the need for proxy servers. uncle xi approved.
So? It still can make your house into a hole
Silvia Tjhia this plane can’t reach the USA. It couldn’t 50 years ago, it still can’t.
Great China & Great Pakistan Friendship Long Live. Lots of Respects and Love From Your "iron Brother" Pakistan
It looks like 60s Soviet Bombers?
+ИнтерКосмосKEЖ Yeah, only difference is they are made in china they will probably last 2 years before they break
Fernando Diaque Just like in ebay ) i'll order another one)))
+ИнтерКосмосKEЖ So what? the B-52s have been in the air since the late 1950s. Big deal. These H-6Ks are an upgraded version of an older model.

china fake power

usa russia long live
Similarly shaped airframe. The laws of physics haven't changed since the 1960s m8. No reason for a subsonic bomber to be shaped differently.
It is a testament of the renaissance of the aviation world (1934-1975). The fact that aircraft from 1940, 1950 and 1960s are still pragmatic. It just shows how well thought of they were given the science and technological limitations of that time. This goes for the US and now Russia. By the way is a TU-16 a 1952 soviet designed sold to China as Xian H-6 build under licensed in 1958 build in 1959 to 1990. With a Mikulin AM-3 engine. It no real threat to the west, its just F-15C target drones.
All bombers are vulnerable against air-superiority fighters, even a B-2 bomber can only operate in clear air space. That junk is equally dangerous to all others Russian bombers, except in range.
Love the Mig -15 Bomber.
They are good looking jets
The Aircraft shakes so badly!
It's like someone is driving a truck on a bumpy road.
There’s something graceful about big-wing jet bombers, regardless of origin.
Hwa hwa hwa
failure is the first step to success - never give up, no matter how long it takes =)
What surprised me was that the Chinese army did not try to modernize its fleet of long /medium-range strategic bombers during the 1990s Of the last century after the return of Beijing's armament cooperation with Moscow through the acquisition of Tu 22 backfire bomber , I agree that China's development programs for Tu16 have gained the Chinese air industries great valuable experiences on various aspects ( engines / Flying equipment, instrument , avionics systems / modification the structure Externally and internally / radars / targeting systems ..etc ) which is Changing as the requirements and needs of the Chinese air force evolving over time in the strategic bombing wing And meet a higher technological standards & operational conditions Which must be available in the combat equipment which is entering service in the chinese air force . But after the disintegration of the Bolshevik regime in Moscow, it was possible to obtain a manufacturing license for producing the Tu22 locally for a small amount of money And to that will provide the Chinese air force a lot of operational flexibility, especially in the implementation of deep aerial bombardments .
old,classic,beautiful
so when will the H20 come out?
The plan is new, but the design is old.
In war nobody wins. War, war never changes.
Salute to China
0:43 LMAO this fucker looks so happy
It looks like a Russian cold war era jet.
It is based on the cold war badger, but these have been heavily upgraded. It's like the USAF current fleet of B-52s which are quite different to the cold-war, 1950s B-52s.
early cold war era product, TU 16
China is no joke.
handsome aircraft
An Indian k100 air to air missile best for it which have range of 400km. It can shot any bomber transport aircraft from safe distance even if it is heavily escorted by fighters.
Looks like 1950s Soviet Badger Bomber.
USA IS THE BEST WAR FROM LONG TIME AGO...THEY NEVER LOSE THEN OTHER COUNTRY... NUMBER ONE UNITED STATE OF AMERICAN...
Beautiful
India is considering to buy bombers from Russia
I just hope Pakistan buy these strategic bombers
holy shit they are super fucking loud
I like the way they look...
The Russian Bear is cool too
old Russian with up graded electronic communications and radar
Lunar Radio step by step. You will see
No it's not there's videos of the inside of the plane, and it's old shit. Their targeting system is ww2 era.
O That’s funny considering I build drones for a hobby from scratch, but whatever you say to make you feel better. As long it’s not a cheap and junky Chinese made tyre and wheel
O I do it for a hobby dumbass. Go copy something Butthurt loser
O I don’t watch videos of drones all day. I’m a member of DIYdrone and contribute weekly. Sorry dumbass but you lost. Now go cry about China copying more shit somewhere else
why didn't the chinese AF just buy the TU160 or TU22m, its much better than these 50's design
Chicoms will never know what hit them.
Can it burn smog?
Love china... from nkri
Looks suspiciously similar to that certain russian bomber.
(jk, this is sarcasm)
Hmm, looks suspiciously like a Tupolev-16... 😒
Tupolev aircraft are beautiful
Did you notice the angle of attack at cruse?
James Monahan 40 degrees
awesome
hey, imagine if they equipped these bad boys with air launched hypersonic cruise missile and stationed in spratly islands. To date, there are no aerial defenses that is capable to neutralize hypersonic cruise missile
one step at a time
It's an updated TU16, how is that a "great leap" ?
Cool plane👍
Love it..respect from Pakistan 🇵🇰
doesn't matter it is old or new as long as it can shoot nukes
wow nice
Love from Pakistan
方向舵上的红绳就很有咱们中国特色!
I have those cotton glove too.... Bought in convenient store
Ту -16 только переделали, двигатели видно другие и передняя часть не стеклянная.
Wow. Look at the air pollution. I sure wouldn't want to live there!
Where are U from?Mr. not copy?
1955 era Badger bombers?
1950s era B-52s?
Thing is that these Badgers are heavily upgraded with new engines, avionics, weapon systems, flight control systems and use composite materials/carbon fibers. They look similar to the Badgers they are based on, but these jets are a whole new design.
Greatly appreciated
Then Russia is WAY, WAY ahead of the Chinese.
Hein S Don't even wanna explain the truth 2u
in military aviation area, yes, russian designed Tu 16, then Tu95 then Tu-22 and Tu-160, Tu16 is a crap compare with the later ones, but china only able to design and manufacture large cabin aeroplan lately, so, give us another 10 years, we will present a product completable with B2
now we have H20!🇨🇳
A long leap in copying alright. It’s still an Tu-16 knockoff
Very good china
The guys laughing here are from a country that still uses B-52?
Well we have B1 and B2 stealth bombers which can kick your country's ass
@@panpanc yes, but it is still designed in 50, still an antique right?
but it is is upgraded and still serve in the army right? it is cheap and efficient, same logic with H6K🤣🤣🤣
Great.....New AMERICAN LASER targets !!!
a swarm of them!
Chinese brothers do you have any bombing testing videos plz share
is this an intercontental bomber
Tom McBride
Long-range, but not global.
China can do better, instead using these orthodox airframe of the 50s. I hope they are moving away from this.. I know the new engines and solid nose.. maybe it is good for plateform for lunch nuke weapons... that's about it. can't match the Tu160 bomber and B2.
can we have that with the special fied wice
Support China! By the way, to some criticism comments below: How many of u r American? I find that many guys from other countries and they don't have their own developed bombers even air force, but they put comments here to criticize China on behalf of the US, seems like they're from American. Interesting thing is they don't even know what American passport looks like, go and check ur own military, poor enough~!
Li Qian Support Chinese thieves? No!
i support China and Im from Philippines.
Hmmm u remember BOEING?
China numba one! Copied... not stolen... developed and upgraded on whatever purpose they intended it to. I see nothing wrong with that. China needs to make bombers ASAP so they made it whatever it takes. I want one, hoping to see it on alibaba soon.
Is this their Version of the Russian Badger?
Lmao Tu-16
soo nice
us confuse
Oh no they copied the Russian again.
Many US submarines, tanks, even missiles are all copied from Germany after WWII.
No you're wrong. The US have the things you listed even before WW2. They have rocket research in the 1930's. Only in 1943 they started working on a missile. The Chinese tank was based on Russian designed. Which was based from a US tank prototype in the 1930's. Bought by the Russian.
To sum it all, your armaments arebased from the US designs. Even now, your hackers are hacking US servers to steal blue prints
US and soviet copied german U2 to make their own missile, German Jet technology were copied and further developped by both US and soviet as well, first amercian tank were copied from of european design, so in general , copy is ok at the very begining, remember china could not make even tracktors before 1952
Mind your own bussiness.
Thudothwacker We bought the whole production line and copyright. Allow production and upgrade
Russian tu-16 retired 1993 Chinese using 90 era bomber . Buy supersonic bomber.
China is the present and future of the world. With the advent of China people around the world saw drastic changes in their life style...Good to see China making strides economically and militarily...
What you mean is the Chinese takeover of the free world continues at a rapid pace. But China is certainly no democracy.
China's great economy is a joke let the United states ban them from doing any business with us and let them do it whith whoever does not want to do business with us see how long they will be a superpower we will see who the world trust more
New? You tube over reacting AGAIN
health insurance?
The B-21 stealth bomber can bomb china's bomber the B-21 can fly into space! USA#1!
LOL that thing looks like a bitch to fly... all that analog flight mechanics and you can clearly see both pilots are busy just keeping the thing stable in the air...
Look the helmet, so funny ..
wow..really china, come on why do you copy all things.
China are lazy ass people. China beat USA in Math, Science, and Language but they can't even have smart people built their own military war machines design? The truth is China lack creativity and artistic.
Even India can destroy it with k 100 air to air missile which have range of 400 km
Mohit Yadav Brother, I have to remind you that the range of missiles carried by this aircraft is 2000km.And it can carry nuclear warhead
No need air to air missile brother! Just send some small bird and it will destroy !
h6k old type bomber 1959. not tested. u.s. have 4 type bombers. B1 LANCER/ B2/ B52 AND ALSO STEALTH BOMBERS...20 CENTURIES BOMBERS...

+B McSue Why would you even consider trusting you enemy?
No one needs ur trust, keep it for urself~
B McSue China never need trust from other nation , we don't need them at all =)
So why r u here?
tHE h-6k MWILL BE REPLACED BY THE h-20 THAT FLIES AQT MAQCH 6 SPEED.USING FOUR SCRAM JET ENGINES
Sure...
Long range yes, but not global. China lacks a tanker fleet to be truly global. They are only a regional power, who India might mess over in a fight.
Russian copy... Of Ty
them are Russian bomber
Bks Bks study your english well first
Easy targets.

protected by the J-20/11/15/16/10 fighter jets and also supported by AWACs and IFR tankers.
lmao long range bombers are not a thing anymore other than being a death trap!
Tupolev copy...

Russian bomber TU 4 was copied from American B 29. So not only China steal technology.
The AIM-9 Sidewinder is a short-range air-to-air missile.
On September 24, 1958, at the height of the Second Taiwan Crisis, in which, on the one hand, the People's Republic of China, supported by the USSR, and the forces of the Taiwan state supported by the United States, the first use of guided air-to-air missiles took place. The link of the Taiwanese "Sabers" used AIM-9B missiles against the Chinese MiG-17 superior in technical characteristics. Although the missiles were not officially intended to destroy the fighters, in the course of the conflict, the Taiwanese pilots managed to win a number of air victories, hitting Chinese fighters on the retreat when they used speed advantage to try to break the distance.
In the course of this conflict, an extremely successful case for the USSR occurred: AIM-9B "Sidewinder" got into the Chinese MiG-17, but did not explode, stuck in the fuselage. Soviet designers, having studied the "trophy" and reproduced it using the "reverse engineering" method, launched a Soviet analogue - K-13 / R-3C (NATO classification - Atoll).
The K-13 missile was in service with the Soviet Air Force for over thirty years. The analysis in the USA shows that spare parts from K-13 missiles can be used to complete the original AIM-9 "Sidewinder"
tu-16 copy.
中國戰機的塗裝確實是全球最醜,好像是蓄意的。
Copy of ussr tu16
All jets have engines on wings, wheels for landing, glass cockpit, ability to carry weapons.. Hahaha, I know why... Every jet is a copy of another jet. Until the Phillipines most brilliant aircraft engineers design wingless, cockpit less, wheels less jet... Then is is not a copy... Lol
Self-developed? Are you kidding? It's a Tupolev Tu-16 built on license from the Russians. It's junk. (Well, the Chinese know how to build junks, after all, but those junks don't fly.)
