To me, predestination is a comfort bcz I know that I haven't the capabilities to achieve anything on my own. And I am so grateful that I have been rescued by His grace, into life and into His eternal Presence. Without it, I would be forever lost.

Roman 6:16-17 states. "You are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin, which leads you to death, or of obedience to teaching, which leads you to righteousness." And 1 John 3:8-9 states, "Whoever sins belongs to the Devil. No one, who is begotten by God, commits sin." Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, please examine yourselves sincerely and determine which category you belong to. Many of you believe some verses in the Bible, think they know and follow Christ, and are saved; and find themselves to be in the first one. Why? Because they do not truly know Christ, nor the True Faith, and are separated from the Source of Grace like branches separated from the Vine (John 15:6).

St. Paul said in 1 Cor 9:27, "I chastise my body and bring it into subjection, lest perhaps, after I have preached to others, I myself should become a reprobate." St. Paul, an Apostle, was concerned about the possibility of losing his salvation, thus proving that 'Once Saved, Always Saved', 'Faith alone", or 'Predestined" is a complete lie, and that the salvation requires a great efforts on our part to truly live according to Our Lord's Commandments of Love and observing All He commanded as taught by His One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church (Matt 28:20), so that we may be transformed into the True Image and Likeness of Christ (Rom 8:29, 2 Cor 3:18); because, we are judged, not by Faith, but according to our deeds and works (Rev 20:13, 22:12. Matt 25:31-46).

Our Lord said, "Sins against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven (Matt 12:31-32, Mark 3:29, Luke 12:10)." Do not be shocked, but you all, who follow false teachings of protestant churches, have sins against the Holy Spirit, who always remains with, and guide the Catholic Church (John 14:16-17, 16:13), by rejecting the Catholic Church teachings. Why remain outside the Catholic Church, Our Lord's Only Fold (John 10:16), His Body and Bride whom He saves (Eph 5:23), and risk your eternal salvation? Come to His Sheepfold quickly, like the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32), before it is too late. Amen!

@@reynaldodavid2913Jo After ordering the Apostles to go to all nations and teach them to OBSERVE ALL He commanded (Matt 28:20), Our Lord said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:16)." Which group do you think you belong to? Since protestant churches reject the Catholic Church and Her teachings, all those, who follow them, belong to the 2nd group. Do you know why they have difficulty in understanding the Bible? It's because they do not have the Holy Spirit's guidance, for He withdraws from the souls who follow falsehood and have no True Faith, without which it is impossible to please God (Heb 11:6).

Protestant churches did not even exist, until Luther founded his in AD 1524 after rebelling against the Roman Catholic Church, the pillar and foundation of the Truth (1 Tim 3:15) and Our Lord's Body, and, thus, reject Our Lord, Her Head (Eph 5:23, Col 1:18). The protestant schism was against God's Will that all believers of Him be One (John 17:20). To justify their existence, all protestant churches reject, attack, and work against the Catholic Church.

Our Lord said, "Amen, Amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send, receives Me and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me (John 13:20; Matt 10:40)," "Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you, rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16)," and "Whoever is not with Me is against Me (Matt 12:30). Whoever rejects Me and does not accept My Words has something to judge him; the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day (John 12:48). You do not believe because you are not among My sheep (John 10:26)."

Do you think people lived before Luther were deceived by the Catholic Church and lost their salvation? Nonsense! Can God's Only Institution, with which God remains always until the end of the world (Matt 28:20, John 14:16-17), fail? Never as Our Lord said, "the gates of Hell shall not prevail against Her (Matt 16:18)."

You are free to believe it or not at your own peril. God leaves everyone to choose Life or Death on their own free will (Sirach 15:17). But why follow wolves in sheep's clothing and risk your eternal salvation? Come quickly to Our Lord's Church, His Only Sheepfold (John 10:16) before it is too late (for the Antichrist's Satanic reign of terror is imminent), so that you may hear His Voice, truly know and follow Him, and be saved by Him (John 10:27-28). Amen!

I came across this doctrine when I was newly regenerated and growing in my walk with the Lord. It was timely because the flesh was wrestling hard against my inner new man and I was always mourning over my imperfections. I at times I grew weary of resisting and I thought I'd lose the struggle and end up in hell and my punishment be worse. I read the doctrine and it was too good to be true yet sensible of all. I wept in joy just as I had wept over my sins when I was convicted of my sins. I'm an elect of God by His divine grace. What He saw good in a wretched sinner like me I do not know but what I know is that one day I'll see Him face to face! Thank you Jesus Christ.

3 months ago I submitted a comment, maybe too condensed with Scripture to give 'spiritual understanding', but...
I love hearing RCSproul produce the best "arguments" for predestination!
All men are proud-selfwilled examples of Adam, until God in Christ regenerates their minds and hearts, and faith 'in the blood of Christ' is the one gift that makes it evident that God saves them (Ps.149:4, Is.61:1), His own 'meek' saints, called 'sheep' by Christ Himself, our 'meek and lowly in heart' Saviour, and 'Salvation' of God, the 'King of saints'! Praise the LORD that He saves any of us...

Amen. What comfort! What worship to our Maker who has been gracious to us in Christ before the foundation of the world. Else we would be most surely doomed to hell.
Amazing grace! I was dead. Now I live because His sweet mercy and power yanked me into life! I could never had chosen Him. I loved my sin and death. I was in bed with my iniquities and they pleased me everyday.
Now I hate them. His power has quickened me. I didn't do it. On my knees, I say thank you Father. I now love the Jesus I hated. I never decided it. I found myself awake as one from sleep; as one from the dead.
Almighty God! If not for your mercy, I would be lost forever AND JUSTLY SO.
We bow forever to God and the Lamb who sits on the throne!
    ALLELUIAAAA!!!!
    Thank you Ligonier Ministries.

Amen!

@@hyeminkwun9523 “THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME”
      ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE
Question: “What is the name which is above every name?”
Answer: Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH [“I AM WHO I AM.”] And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM {YAH} has sent me to you.’” Moreover, God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations” (Exodus 3:13-15). Halleluyah, Praise YAH! The LORD revealed His essential name “YAH,” and this name appears 48 times in the Bible.
Question: “Doesn’t the LORD have many names?”
Answer: And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as EL SHADDAI [God Almighty], but by My name Lord {YAH} I was not known to them (Exodus 6:2-3). The LORD only has one essential name YAH, and many descriptive names.
Question: What does this mean to me?
Answer: The prophet Isaiah makes this very clear: “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV, as compared to the Hebrew). “YAH” means “I AM” with “Shua” meaning salvation, and thus YAHSHUA is the exclusive name of our salvation.
Question: What name did Christ actually receive at His birth?
Before we answer, it is important that we know one crucial fact, that the name Jesus has only existed since the 17th century. So the real question is, “What name did the angel reveal to Joseph?” Obviously the name of salvation according to the Prophet is “YAH,” and “shua” means salvation.
Answer: In Matthew 1:21, “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name YAHSHUA, for He will save His people from their sins.” “You shall call” is a command from God through the angel. The name YAHSHUA is revealed and commanded to be given to our Savior. Most do not know of the transformations, or the linguistic evolution, of the only name by which we must be saved: Jesus changed from Iesus due to the late addition of the letter “J” into the English alphabet in the 17th century. Jesus comes from Iesus, and Iesus is found in the 1611 KJV English version of the Bible. Iesus (Latin) comes from the Greek name Iesous, which is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua, Yeshua was a common name in the 1st century, and most people who lived in the land of Israel would have heard YAHSHUA as Yeshua.
Question: Why is this one name YAHSHUA so important to our salvation?
The Apostle Peter made this very clear and emphatic: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Question: How do we know that YAH was revealed to us?
Answer: The Savior Himself told us when He said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). “I AM” is YAH, as in Halleluyah, Praise YAH!
The Apostle Paul, who was called Saul, on the Road to Damascus heard the name which is above every name, He testified of this to King Agrippa, “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O King, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting’” (Acts 26:12-15).
Question: Did the apostle Paul hear the name which is above every name?
Answer: The apostle Paul wrote, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him {YAH} the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). Every language is to know and confess this one name: YAHSHUA.
Question: “What does it mean if we reject the one name given under heaven by which we must be saved?”
Answer: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). To reject the Savior’s revealed name is to stand condemned. Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! And be saved!
This יָה is “YAH” {I AM} in Hebrew.
“But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord YAHSHUA, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” (Colossians 3:14-17). Shalom in His name, YAHSHUA!

This message is so clear and true , God destined all the world to be saved with only one condition, to believe in His Son as our mediator and accept this destination to go to heaven with Him.But He also gave us a free will and if we do not believe in Jesus and accept this destination we can reject it. Predestination in the bible is always about events that occur at the resurrection. Because you’re in Christ, you’ll be conformed to His image as stated in 1John 3....
1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
(Being the firstborn refers to the resurrection)
Because we’re in Christ, we are predestined to the adoption....
Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
(Redeemed bodies happens at the resurrection)
Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
Because we’re in Christ, we will receive an inheritance at the resurrection....
1Pe 1:3 ¶ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Eph 1:11 👉🏻In whom 👈🏻also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
The minute before you believed and were not yet in Christ, you weren’t predestined and had no hope.....
      Eph 2:11 ¶ Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
      14 ¶ For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Predestination is for Christians, NOT to become Christians.
      God bless.

@@Tommythecat007 Your sentence is a bit grammatically skewed. Let's look at it both ways. Question: So God's "will" is going to be done for "everyone," correct? If so then you believe in universal salvation. If God's "will" is not going to be done, then you are describing a God who is weak and not in charge of his created universe. I don't think you believe such.
If you say that God is allowing for man's choices, then a man "choosing" God is a "wise" thing to do, right? Why would some have this "wisdom" and others not? Who "gives" this wisdom to some, but not to others? God? Hmmm....
If so, then God, as man's Creator is "choosing" whom he wants to give wisdom to. Since God knows the end from the beginning, the ones He "chooses" to give wisdom to, MUST be Predestined for salvation. So, Mr. "man's choices," we are right back where we started from, aren't we? It is God who "chooses" or "not chooses" to predestine men from before the foundation of the world, just like He tells us in Ephesians 1:5. His basis for it? It is "… according to the good pleasure of His will." Oops! Here we see what his "will" really means. It was to "predestine us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself." Look you can change the word All and EVERY to SOME or MANY or a certain group(elect) if you want to.
But after a robust inclusion of all scripture I would have to conclude that clearly an exclusive gospel is NOT INLINE WITH THE WILL OF GOD
If God loves everybody why would he leave some out, What so the ones he didn't choose he didn't love (hardly scriptural, one only has to read Matthew chapter 5 on perfect ‘Love’) to see the folly of such a exclusive understanding.

@@jenJ-uq8ej “THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME”

Those that don't believe in predestination or in the doctrine of grace simply have not studied enough. I came to believe in predestination and in what the acronym, TULIP, represents after rejecting then alternately doing a deep study then believing. This cycle went on for years before I ultimately understood and believed. I am settled on it. God is sovereign and what he begins he makes sure to see it through to its end. He 'wrote the story' therefore arranged the events and knows the end from the beginning.

I could say that those who hold the Calvinist view of scripture just haven’t studied enough, but that isn’t an argument for my position, and only creates barriers to discussion.
It’s not that non Calvinists don’t believe in predestination and grace, we just have a different understanding of them.

@ It’s really not. It’s actually anti-biblical. Jesus and Paul were refuting the doctrine of election, not establishing it. The Jews taught their version of the doctrine of election (basically the same as Calvinism) and Jesus said no, God doesn’t just pick some people and not others. Then Paul continued teaching that same thing. It’s mind blowing and sad at the same time that so many Christian theologians got confused about this and get it so badly wrong. But the doctrine of election is what Jesus himself was correcting, not teaching.

It is obvious when you compared the first part of your comment with the last. Your grammar and sentence structure is average. Then, you finish with sentence structure and grammar that is not only not used anymore, but is far different than your initial statements. It’s two different people speaking.

I am one that struggles with this too. Some think that those that do not believe in predestination, believe that by choosing to answer God’s call makes us think that we are so special because we made the choice. But I have always felt that if I was one of the predestined, pre chosen, pre elected, that would make me more special than those that are not predestined. Like that alone could make people get prideful. Kind of like being the teachers pet, or something. However, I cannot overlook that all the Bible teachers and preachers that I am learning from, does believe in predestination and grace. So every time I want to get away from that, I look for another Bible teacher or preacher, and I hear it again. So, I am beginning to believe that the Lord keeps bringing me back to this teaching and He is helping me to understand it and accept it.

@Psalm 22 John 3:16; I believed in God’s Sovereignty and the predestination that is taught in the bible. But some taught God in His Sovereignty chose some to eternal life but the rest of mankind to condemnation which I totally disagreed…
quote “there are people that will be saved and others that won’t”. Obviously , Christianity didn’t teach universalism in salvation but we are save by God’s grace through faith in Christ (Eph2:8)…Whether in the old or new testament everyone including Abraham is saved through faith in Rom4:3. However, God in His Sovereign in the OT chose Saul and David for His divine purpose and He didn’t predestine them to eternal life. .
Quote “Because of predestination. God will have MErcy to whom he wants to have Mercy. God decides, and to all for His Glory!” I don’t agree to your notion because God’s mercy is extended to all who are willing to repent in faith though He remained Sovereign and this is not about predestination as you claimed. By the way, your thoughts are more inclined to Calvinism that taught God predestine some to be saved and others to damnation. However, that is a false teaching.

Somewhere in Romans it says something about if Christ be in you... and then it says something about the same spirit that raised Christ will raise those with Christ in them.
Jesus said, The Father is in me and "I am" in you. God told Moses, Be still and know that "I am" the Lord thy God. Who is the Lord thy God? Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life. Rev. 1-5 Jesus Christ is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead. Who is the dead? God said, I created all things, I created evil and I created good...
Jacob sent his worldly possessions across the river before he wrestled with the angel in the land of Pineal. Jacob saw the face of God and confessed "I am" Jacob. Who is the face of God?
Jacob is the face of God. Jacob is the body of which Christ is the faithful witness as the single life which is the life of the body and the light of the world. ~No one ascends to heaven except the one who fell from heaven.
In order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven a man must first sacrifice himself. In order to ascend we must first be ascetic and then we will ascertain the truth. It's the idea of ourselves as being a thing of substance rather than an imagination is the idea we must sacrifice. Paul said, We exist in the mind of God where we live and have our being. Christ is our being, the rock of all ages. There is no other single being other than the one single indivisible being appearing as many separate individuals. Who is the one who appears to be you? It's the same as the one who appears to be I. 🙏

@@Romans1.28 “THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME”

+sonia mit If Calvinistic "predestination" is true, then the following critical questions will no doubt come to mind. If man has been predestined to perish wherefore is God's legal right to punish? Wherefore is sin? For if a man has been predestined to fulfill God's plan and he does so because he has no choice, then therefore whatever sins he does is because God predestined him to do, where is his sin?
God therefore becomes the author of sin. So man was created to be what God predestined him to be, he has fulfilled God's plan, then he has obeyed God's will. Where then is man's sin?
How can God proclaim a righteous wrath against those who do not obey His commands if He has predestined them not to obey His commands? How can God proclaim to be just when He creates a person to disobey Him, and then punishes that person for doing what he was predestined to do?
So why would God predestine a person to love Him which is in essence God loving Himself through that person because that person has no choice? This doctrine of Calvin takes accountability and blame out of man's hands and throws it right into God's lap.
If man creates a weapon and uses it to fulfill his plan to kill someone; who is guilty? the man who created the weapon or the weapon itself? In Genesis God says, "Behold, the man has become like one of us, to know good and evil" Does this mean we don't know how to choose between good and evil?

+sonia mit Many people in the church today are clueless and in a state of great confusion regarding what true Biblical predestination is and because of Calvinism's great influence in the churches, they will fall back on Calvinism's twisted definition that has been forcefully imposed into many seminaries, Bible colleges, theology textbooks, dictionaries, churches, and church constitutions for centuries.
True Biblical predestination takes place AFTER a person comes to faith in Christ. The Christian is predestinated for 3 things which takes place in the future. True Biblical predestination ONLY applies to those that are saved.
      1) They are predestinated to be CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF CHRIST - Romans 8:29-30, 1 Corinthians 15:49 - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Philippians 3:21 - Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. All saved people will be like Christ. We shall be like Him - 1 John 3:2. This is a future aspect at the Rapture.
      2) They are predestinated to have an INHERITANCE in heaven - Ephesians 1:11, John 14:2-4. Again, this is a future aspect.
      3) They are predestinated to have GLORIFIED ETERNAL BODIES OF FLESH AND BONE, the REDEMPTION OF OUR PHYSICAL BODIES just like Jesus resurrected body described in Luke 24:39, Ephesians 1:4-5, Romans 8:23, Christ's newly resurrected glorified body is the prototype of what is to come for all saved Christians at the RAPTURE - 1 Corinthians 15:51-54, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, 1 John 3:2.
      =========================================================================================================
There is a world of difference between true Biblical predestination and election versus Calvinist "predestination" and "election." Calvinism will use the terms "predestination" and "election" interchangeably to mean the same thing, that is, salvation or damnation which is predetermined in eternity past by God.
Calvinism has hijacked the words, "chose", "chosen", "elect", "election" and "predestinate" and perverted the true definition. The true definition is NOT "chose", "chosen", "elect", "election" for salvation.

    • @wtom04
      @wtom04 4 роки тому +1

+sonia mit Calvinism's understanding of "predestination" has a striking similarity to Islam's belief in fatalism.
      1) The Islamic Surah Ibrahim 14:4 - "And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and ALLAH SENDS ASTRAY(THEREBY) WHOM HE WILLS AND GUIDES WHOM HE WILLS. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
      2) The Islamic Surah 2:6-7 states, "It is the same to them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe. ALLAH HAS SET A SEAL ON THEIR HEARTS AND ON THEIR HEARING. AND ON THEIR EYES IS A VEIL; GREAT IS THE CHASTISEMENT THEY INCUR."
      3) John Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion, Book 3, Chapter 21, section 5 - "SOME ARE PREORDAINED TO ETERNAL LIFE, OTHERS TO ETERNAL DAMNATION, and accordingly, as each has been created for one or other of those ends, we say that he has been predestined to life or death."
      4) "That owing to one man all pass into condemnation who are born of Adam unless they are born again in Christ, even as He has appointed them to be regenerated, before they die in the body, whom He PREDESTINATED TO EVERLASTING LIFE, as the most merciful bestower of grace; while to those whom He HAS PREDESTINATED TO ETERNAL DEATH, He is also the most righteous awarder of punishment not only on account of the sins which they add in the indulgence of their own will, but also because of their original sin, even if, as in the case of infants, they add nothing thereto. Now this is my definite view on that question, so that the hidden things of God may keep their secret, without impairing my own faith." - Augustine, City of God, On the Soul and its Origin, Book 4, Chapter 16.
      5) In Islam, Allah is exalted and pleased as he sends people to hell: this is the fatalistic claim of Islam. Fatalism is a belief that events are fixed in advance for all time in such a manner that human beings are powerless to change them. In this case, Allah will send to heaven whomever he pleases, and send to hell whomever he pleases. ("Unveiling Islam: An Insider’s Look at Muslim Life and Beliefs" pages 31-32, by authors Ergun Mehmet Caner and Emir Fethi Caner Grand Rapids, MI: Kregel Publications, 2002.)

Really? You think it fair that God created some people, born as sinners, never gave them an effective call so they even had a chance of repenting, believing and being saved, was actually such a micromanager that they could not even commit one sin without God causally decreeing that they should do it, and then send them to hell for eternity for sins that at worst he made them commit, or at best left them totally unable to avoid committing?
No friend! You need to flee this twisting of the gospel. By faith you are saved. Not by regeneration and salvation come to faith which is the order that Calvinism gives. The Bible has a different order of salvation to Calvinism. Repent and believe and you will be saved is the order of the Bible.
In the same way the very idea of salvation by faith us distorted by many Calvinists - listen to a Calvinist teach on Romans and hear how they put faith on the same side of the equation as works, when saint Paul put it on the opposite side.

@@UnknownUser-dy6ij Yes, I did in spite of the fact that he could have whittled it down to ten minutes and said the same thing. A man commits murder. His brother is the chief-of-police, and he's never arrested: the evidence is destroyed. He received mercy and grace from his brother, for whatever reasons. Is that an injustice? Of course it is. It's not fair to the victim, his family, or society. The one brother (the murderer) just happened to be "elect" in his brother's eyes.
Many other examples could be cited in which violent criminals are shown "grace and mercy" - which is usually an injustice. Perhaps Mr. Sproul simply defines "justice" and "injustice" differently than the dictionary.
Also, did you notice how he skimmed right over the "born of water and of Spirit" part? Why? Because the "witnesses" that he was citing (who commented on the passage) saw it as a reference to water baptism, and he preferred not to mention that.

Absolutely true statement Mr Sproul , God not predestined to every human being .That’s the problem with those who don’t agree with doctrine predestination.

God's grace is so powerful he predestinated 99% of humanity to eternal hell-fire, because God is Love... and RC wants Christians to celebrate. Praise be to God that Calvinism is utterly wrong in it's understanding of predestination, depravity, free will, grace etc. I enjoy watching these videos as it shows me how great the Grace of God really is, sadly RC didn't come to the complete realisation of that.

I have been reading the Bible every day for almost 2 years and I know I am truly a new creation in Christ. My pastor and most of my friends do not support this doctrine and yes, it is very challenging, but I cannot escape the fact that it is so scriptural!
The Bible is a challenging and offensive book and this is a challenging doctrine, but it’s not in the least bit offensive. It’s beautiful.
Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I have happily submitted my life to him and I am alive! Hallelujah praise the Lord. What else do I need to say?

RC Sproul explains here many beliefs of predestination and also the correct explanation of predestination. Very informative Sermon. Well worth the time to watch if you’re struggling with, what is predestination. Well done, Dr Sproul!
RIP, Sir. God’s work through you is complete.

The Gospel in terms of predestination is a comfort to be embraced because we can rest from time to time from our battle with our flesh which tempts us to understand it with human wisdom instead of apprehending it by the gift of faith in the righteousness of Christ alone.

      This conflict with his view.
Philippians 2:12 Consequently, my beloved ones, just as you have always obeyed, not only during my presence but now much more readily during my absence, KEEP WORKING OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION with fear and trembling.
