Why don't you study the Bible for yourself in context and determine for yourself if what RC says matches ALL the words of YHWH. You are not to depend on the personal interpretation of ANY MAN but on what YHWH the Father said. He never changed. I John 2:27.
Me too! It completely changed my life as God opened my mind to the truths of his word. I wish I had known and accepted the truths of reformed Christianity sooner but it happened on God’s timing. There is nothing more humbling yet beautiful as realizing that God is sovereign over absolutely everything. Including all of salvation.
Just discovered RC Sproul yesterday. I am awestruck and cannot comment right now on how deeply his words reach me.
It's not that your awestruck at Mr.Sproul but at the deeper revalation God is making Himself known to you through this man.Its not the man but the Lord in which there is no other.Thats how it always is when God let's us stumble unto a deeper truth by accident or purpose.God the Holy Spirit,the great Teacher knows.Amen
When I finally focused back in on my faith in the Lord RC Sproul and John MacArthur had my undivided attention every evening when I'd go to bed and immerse myself in their sermons! RC made learning about God so interesting and exciting I was addicted to his teaching! Great addiction to have❤🙏

Yet, with all the respect he has garnered from you his listeners, he fails to educate you on a VERY important aspect in the ten commandment that our heavenly FATHER stated... HIS NAME... YAHWEH!!! @@andrewlawrencei3239 it's a terminology difference, likely even an error-which influences doctrinal errors, but you should accept(correct spelling), a brother's testimony. Our backgrounds influence our terms.

God is sovereign. God accepted us yes ... this was done before the beginning of this world ... but we must accept Him right back. His Spirit will lead us to accepting Christ. This is sovereign on God's part ... and this sovereignty will lead us into acceptance of Christ. So the testimony stands. It's just good to express oneself correctly in order that God is always glorified.
I also never accepted Jesus but He accepted me. I did not pray any prayer. But while l was deeply convicted of my sins for three nights and days, while reading the Gospel of John, the death account of Jesus, suddenly an amazement of realization came from my heart that all my sins have been forgiven in the blood of Jesus. Repentance and faith flooded in my heart, and l had become a new man in Christ Jesus ie born again person. Praise the Lord.
This is one of your best sermons to me. DR. R.C Sproul. I feel such a strong sense of who GOD is everytime I listen it. What a legacy he has left behind a man greatly used of GOD.

As a Roman Catholic ( now thankfully no longer) I heard some of the preachers, Id even heard of Martin Luther. I was shocked at what I heard. How can they teach something the RC church doesnt? I was horrified. Was being the operative word. I hadnt realised how much I could live my Father, my Jesus and my friend the Holy Spirit. I can and do dare openly say I love the Trinity. I know I am loved by my Creator, my Saviour and my Friend. I wasnt loved by priests or those working by them. They didn't know me. Never will. But Father knows absolutely everything about me. There is the greatest love and peace and joy knowing that. I love these preachers now. I love what they teach and how they teach. Im not always able to listen but I leave them playing in the background so my heart may hear ❤

I think this message is my favorite of R.C.'s (but i say that about each video I watch)! Lol😄
It boggles the mind that even after we've been with Jesus for thousands of years (thinking in human terms) that we will barely have scratched the surface of understanding this majestic God whom we serve! We will have the rest of forever (again, speaking in human terms, since that's all we know) to plumb the depths.
I wish we could talk more about this with other Christians. We sure can't talk to the would about it! Instead, we so often talk about the same trivialities that the world talks about. "What did you do last weekend?" "How was your holiday?" We must mediate on messages like this more often. THIS is what our minds should be focused upon.
At 65 years old, the Holy Spirit's enlightenment of my understanding of God's Word through the teachings of R.C.Sproul has been and continues to be such a huge blessing, that it is nearly impossible for me to express how profound an effect it has had on my life. Thank you Jesus!!!

11/22/2023 I have had the privilege of sitting at the feet of this great saint who is now in Paradise and listening to his lectures for 30 years over and over and I love ❤️ him today as much if not more than when I first met him ☺️✝️🕎📖📖
He is not yet in paradise. He is still in the grave awaiting for his ressurection. Otherwise there shall be no judgement Day in GWT. Great White throne. All were dead from the time of Adam and Eve to the saints who just died recently. Only Jesus the Christ ascended to heaven. No humans yet.

I am often reminded of the Holiness of God in all of the late Dr. Sproul’s sermons. No matter what subject he preached on, it came out loud and clear, so close to his heart & close to mine as well. The thought of our Holy God deeply humbles me and reminds me of my lowly (yet greatly loved) place in the Lord. 🕊

The Lord opened my ears to hear the true Gospel about a decade ago when He blessed my radio to fall on his radio broadcast during a commute to work. It was through RC’s messages that my eyes can see, I am so grateful and thankful for RC’s teaching, and so glad to see gems like this still on youtube! Our God is so great and continues to use this even after RC’s passing.
I have been treading in the waters of non believers and researching what they believe. A lot of hateful speech but honestly more intelligent well thought arguements by very smart individuals. I just wish they would all check their egos and listen to RC Sproles. He is hands down the best we could've ever wanted for refuting atheist. Thank you Father for Your word, for Your being, and for causing us to be. Furthermore Father thank you for the blessing of RC Sproles. He is my rock for understanding and my weapon against disbelief. I can't wait to see him in heaven and thank him for possibly rescuing me from uncertainty. I have no fear of confronting my atheist brothers and sisters and hopefully can someday change a heart for Christ. I no doubt will be thanking RC for helping me achieve that task.

Absolutely riveting sermon...there are no words to describe the blessing this dear servant of the Lord brought to me by the technology of recording on this internet medium. RC Sproul will receive a great reward for his obedience to deliver this message on this platform. Dr. Sproul during his lifetime was a blessed man and obedient to his calling, especially in the time and place where and when it was delivered. May millions of souls be reached by the continuation of this ministry.
We also remember him as always giving God the glory for his gift and using him for his glory. It is the Holy Ghost who gives us gifts to be used wisely for the kingdom of God. As a human, all I can relate to and know about time is past and present. I do not live outside of time, I am not God, I have no foreknowledge, therefore I better do what He directs me to, to secure my desired future in eternity: "If you, any, believe, trust, choose, have faith, accept, whosoever, repent." You cannot ignore or explain away all of those directives, regardless of free will or predestination. I live in time and I better do what God says if I want to get the gift of going to heaven. I'm not going to use "predetermined" to excuse my sins, they were my fault and choices. I must choose to believe.
