@@ImaginaShip This project is really well conceived. It’s simple enough to execute without deep knowledge of Blender, but just challenging enough. Big cool factor, too. Right up my alley. ✌️🍷🎩
It’s all about showing people a more simplified way to create cool imagery without too much detail. Part 4 is going to tie everything together in creating the animation and camera movement, it should be fun 🙂
@@ImaginaShip …I feel confident about polygonal modeling. Smart & simple UVs & painting is the other half. Low poly, beautiful paint is a good formula for me. To your point about detail: texture can take care of a lot of that, and painting is an art form in itself that can only make 3D better. Is texturing on your agenda? 🤔
How would one fix this problem? In the Gundam universe they started off with similar space station in terms of design and windows are all long the inside of the ring (s) to see inside like just like how the Captain modeled his space station.
I'm really working on encouraging building good geometry before focusing on texturing. I feel like too many people are in such a hurry to throw a texture on their model that they neglect their geometry. There's still tons of great stuff being done out there, though!
Great tutorials, thanks.
Amazing videos. Subscribing.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you're getting something out of these. I'm hoping to have time to create more, soon!
Nice work, captain. ✊🍷🎩🎩🎩
Thank you, sir! One more to go then I’m planning to do something very Halloweeney.

Only problem with your windows... if this rotates for gravity... all the windows would be in the FLOOR and CEILINGS of the rooms. :-P
They’re special antigravity Windows, I promise!

Good to see how you work with the mirrors and add details.

@@ImaginaShip Yes, I see a lot of good ideas the way you build up from the basic shapes in both the shuttle and the orbital station.
