you're underrated bro, appreciate the help
Hey, cool video. Do you also have a slow version of it? I would like to do this step by step. Greetings
Oh yeah, I remember that pandemic. It sucked. That was right before the aliens invaded.
Kurgan💀
Thank you for this whole series. I'm just starting out in Blender and I loved this project. Thanks for always repeating the shortcuts, and for all the cool old school references. I'm 3, I know what you are talking about most of the time, haha!
10:44 made me so sad, bud. Your voice is fine and your tutorial is even better. Thanks so much, don't be too hard on yourself!
For all the people working with 4.2 or higher version. @31:30 the auto smooth option is now under modifier -> normals -> smooth by angle. Dont forget to right click the object and chose shade smooth.
Excellent tutorial, mine turned out so nicely! Thanks!
That was wonderful,thanks
THANK YOU SO MUCH, for making this tutorial!!! I cannot thank you enough for making one for a starship for a complete beginner like me! I have Blender, but so far it has been so intimidating and frustrating to me that I’ve almost been brought to tears trying to figure it out… your explanations are clear and concise, and not too fast. Thank you.
I found your course super! I learned a lot and as a Stars Wars fan it was a nice nice course to follow. Wished all Blender tutorials on youtube explained it this well (most of the time they go to fast for a beginner/learner). Thanks!
I am wondering if my requests ever get considered?
Thanks for another great tutorial series.
WHAT tutorials did you watch to get to this point?
Check out yansculpts’ channel. He’s an absolute beast when it comes to sculpting but also a very cool guy.
These are great! Just finished the fuselage. Yes, the word is of French origin; from fusele meaning spindle-shaped. :) Tutorial addition that would be nice for us noobs: SCREENCAST KEYS.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, HURRY UP, YA VARMINT!!
Ooooooh, I needs an E-RASER!
@@ImaginaShip OOOOOOOOOOOO, FRESH TOWELS IN THE PANTRY!
Step 1: after importing all of the reference planes, select them all and press Alt-G. This resets all transforms and puts them all at the world origin without the need to select every individual plane and setting X to 0.
Great tutorials, thanks.
thank so much brother this is great!!!
can u please do a tutorial for Enterprise D?
I realy like your tutorials. I love it that you do it for free and its perfekt for beginners and people who are a little trusted with blender. I will link you in my final result
can you show interior
What’s your favorite scene from The Princess Bride?
this is awesome man! those textures are crispy! ( in a good way lol)
Thanks bud! They're all "hand painted" with a mixture of procedural noise. I also drew in a lot of the panel lines using a roughness map that I linked to the bump/normal map which was absolutely magical in how much more detail it added.
I would love a tutorial series on this 🙏 keep up the great videos man!@@ImaginaShip
I want to c a tutorial for Enterprise D and E but can't seem to find one
DUDE!!! This video just saved the Life of my Project! Can I adopt you?? Well thought out, well instructed, and all the "How to" specifics! All I can say is HOTT DAMN!! lol😁😇🤪
I personally would like to see a tutorial for Enterprise D and E
You're really amazing subscribed 🎉and would recommend 👌
really loved the process , please make more videos like ths , they are really helpful to learn , its a request please make more like this helps to learn
Did you make the video intro yourself?
I did! I used animation techniques similar to what I did in my Space Scene tutorial series.
I am having a hard time with the cockpit windows. I do inset, but it does not separate the faces like it does for you. They seem to just move together in one direction. Love you stuff btw, just finished enterprise.
Seems like I can do it individually, but doing two faces at a time has a different outcome.
Figured it out! Blender docs for the win! Hit I to inset, I again to set individual is it what I believe it is saying. Either way, it worked!
You caught me sleeping, glad you figured it out!
And I wanna ask, when sculpting the eye and eye area, do we have to sculpt eyelids? Some artists dont make the eyelids. Just giving some spaces for eyelids and they retopo it
I’ve started sculpting the eyelids but I think my problem is that I start with them too high and my characters are initially a little “bug eyed”. In my current project, I’m working on adding a bit more “slack” so the facial armature will have more to work with. The biggest thing I learned from working on Honey Lemon is I need a lot more practice with facial rigging, it’s a beast and makes you realize what you need to do differently with the mesh.
Holy! Finally i found someone who makes the sculpting style that i wanted. Do you mind can you make the main character from The Magicians Elephant?
Thanks! It’s definitely a learning process. I’ll add that character to my list of possibilities, sculpting is a lot of fun and it’s always helpful to attempt recreating what the pros are doing.
This is cool. keep it up 😍
Thanks, it’s definitely a massive learning process. Especially with facial rigging in my most recent video, lots of trial and error.
Please keep in mind this was my first facial rig and I had a lot of issues getting it to work correctly. I’m mostly happy with it but definitely have work to do in learning facial rigging and animation.
New sub here. Would love to see you work through a Cylon Raider from the 1978 original Battlestar Galactica.
Hi, I have a problem when trying to apply the texture of the wing on the others, when i link data object the wing will either change dimension or get flipped, how do i fix it ?
Honestly this is amazing
Thanks, I appreciate that! I’m loving the process and can’t believe how powerful of a program Blender is.
Enjoying this content? Do you like these process videos with or without commentary? Let me know! And thanks for watching!
hi, i just want to thank you so much for these videos, i'm so proud of the X Wing that i made using your tutorials, you are a excelent teacher. just want to say that the only little problem that i had with the tutorials was the volume of your voice, in all the videos it has always been a little too low but in this video it is really difficult to understand what you are saying.
I’m glad you enjoyed it! Be sure to add an @imaginaship to your work if you post it on Instagram as I love seeing the results from these tutorials.
Great tutorial, Thanks!

good tutorial and an excelent result, you helped me in my task, thank you!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Be sure to @imaginaship if you share it on Facebook or Instagram. I always love seeing people’s work after they follow my tutorials.
I like the fact you have a Star Trek 3d modelling video. I'm struggling with it being my first time creating with blender (used to tinkered), pc - Mac conversions and some of the shortcuts not working but I will persist. Hoping to get used to 3d modelling for roblox and vrchat. This tutorial is difficult to follow as a beginner but I'm sure it will be worth it the end.
This is probably one of my favorite tutorials that I’ve done so far and have seen several people posting their renders on Facebook and Instagram. Be sure to @imaginaship if you post yours on social. Try not to get discouraged, I’ve been using this program off and on for several years and still feel like a newbie. Just keep learning at a slow steady pace and keep your eyes on the prize!
I have the original release of this kit I think in the Star Trek Undiscovered Country boxing. Might pick this one up sometime if I wanted to light it.
I’m really loving that they’ve been rereleasing these kits and that the molding still seems pretty clean. Now if they would just release a model of the Vengeance!
Great job
