Tractor Single Plate Clutches (Trailer for DVD)

Traditionally single plate clutches were used on tractors like the Grey Ferguson. Today modern tractors tend to have independent PTO's so a single plate clutch is commonly fitted.
With a very 'hands on' approach using a classic Ford 4000 and Ford 1210 tractors the DVD covers clutch inspection & replacement, although the procedures shown will be applicable to other tractors with single plate clutches too.
Footage includes splitting the tractor, clutch removal, inspection, flywheel run-out, refitting, alignment, connecting back the tractor, adjusting clutch free-play along with testing the clutch.
Tips and tricks for dealing with a seized or rusted clutch are also included along with industry good practice aimed at prolonging the life of a tractor clutch.
