Glad you liked the video! thanks for sharing. Take care

What a complete idiot to have that round container of pure poison in his back pocket. How pathetically immature and uneducated about health an the extreme dangers of tobacco products.
How sad to know he cares so little about himself or his family and thus creates a very bad example for his children, but he cares more about his substance addictions.
When properly heated, that ring gear should slide off and on with no problems. You can also make a cut in it to remove it.
Thanks for your video I'm working on my 9N now and couldn't get the fly wheel off either I just need a bigger hammer. Lol. My ring gear has the same missing teeth section like yours does and I bought the ring gear when I bought the clutch.

Its been a long time since I have seen one split in the middle. We put a new lift cylinder in ours when I was a little boy.

We have a 1940 model 9 N. You need to repaint Yours. It is supposed to be all Gray. People try to make You think it is an 8 N, but it is supposed to be solid Gray.
I had intentions of painting it gray but with the the red already on it i figured covering the red and when it got scratched and nicked the red would show through and look bad. Also it is the way my grandpa had it. Thanks for checking the channel out
Why does he need to repaint it. The grey is boring
@@finncampeau4922 I guess You don't have to, but the original color of them is Gray. If You want it to look like a Red Belly or an 8 N. Leave it that way.
It looks like you need some oil seals trans and motor
Can u turn flywheel by hand or with a fry bar
Had to turn it with a pry bar, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and checking out the channel, take care!
That flywheel is where you need a shop press
Yes sir! would definitely make things easier! Thanks for leaving a comment and checking out the channel!
Don't use Champion Spark plugs in it. They will skip in no time. My Dad runs AC 45's in Ours, they last a lot longer.
Thanks for the heads up and checking out the channel
Record the paint and cleaning time lapse would be cool to see it. You are going to have to start playing some guitar and having your own music to play over video.
Will do. ill try to get some footage shot to add to the next video with some of the clean up and painting.
My starter broke i tryed to turn with a pry bar flywheel would not turn
I was able to turn the flywheel through the starter hole in the bell housing. Just a few teeth at a time but i would turn. Should turn especially if the tractor is in neutral.
@@homebuilt8694 yea mine wont turn i hope piston ant broke
