- A maze/platform run 'n jump game where you collect all of the bombs on each level, before progressing to the next. Extra point bonuses are awarded for collecting bombs with their fuses lit. Only one bomb at a time has a lit fuse, and collecting twenty or more of these lit bombs on any given level will earn the player a points bonus. Bomb Jack is pursued around each level by a variety of constantly spawning, mechanical enemies. When Bomb Jack gets killed, he drops to the nearest platform, always landing on his head. The 5 backgrounds are Sphinx in Egypt, the Akropolis in Greece, Castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, skyscrapers and a cityscape by night.
This game is endless, after 99 levels, the game is restarted back to the beginning at level 0 so I quit afterwards.

This arcade game was place inside a phone cubicle inside the back entrance of a working mens club i used to go as a kid. I would be on it whilst my grandparents were playing bingo in the other room. Hearing the melodies in this game.. its like it was only yesterday
No point playing the game if you can't die on it

One of my first games for my Commodore 64. Oh, the memories....
such good memories. in 1986 we went on a vacation from sweden to italy and ran out of money so stuck in italy for almost 3 month longer than expected, me and my buddy played bomb jack in the local cafe for hours everyday an became masters. only cost 200 lire which was about 10 cent i think.
I played this game a lot back in the day. Quarters came from my paper route.

They should do an awful nostalgia bait remake of Bomb Jack in HD where they completely misunderstand how all the bonus mechanics cleverly overlap and focus instead on the character’s backstory.

You have a very odd playing technique, without stopping in the air or floating sideways. And with a cheat it is as easy as it can get. Without it you wouldn't have reached level 5 safely.
Du kannst den genauen Ablauf lernen und dann kannst du immer die 50.000 usw.; ich habe immer 5 000 000 geschafft. Ich habe mal gesehen wie einer über 50 000 000 geschafft hat. Aber mit cheat tricky.

And the Thundercats theme, iirc. This game had a long legacy of using copyrighted music, but most games of that era did thanks to no one really knowing how copyright law applied to games at the time.

Everybody Bomb Jack freak know the way. Spielothek give one coin 4 games. we try the game, he take the joystick and i take the button, and this works fantastic. We had a perfect round to gt the 50.000 points and more; 2 brains works some one. 1986. haha. we never get this, because we are not friend but so different.
