As a man in his 30’s I have been trying to figure out the game that my dad and I used to play when I was a kid at the arcades.. this is that game! I can’t thank you enough for posting this!
My father bought me this game on the Sega mega drive when I was like 9 or 10.. everything about it was perfect the soundtrack alone made me just stand still doing nothing during the level just so I can listen to it on loop. Rest in peace dad I miss you everyday.
This is one of the greatest arcade games ever made along with TMNT: Turtles in Time, X-Men Arcade, Simpson’s game, Lethal Enforcer and Aliens vs Predator. The 90’s were the best decade to grow up as kid. I’m so grateful to have been born in 1985 😎..
@@timothyfarrand8407 Completely agree with you! Remember how bad ass it was to get games like this on your home console! It didn't deter you from still playing it if you saw it at your nearest Round Table Pizza (I swear EVERY single one had this lol). Same with all the other classics I mentioned. Mortal Kombat was the big one when it came to being a home console port. We were so stoked to be playing a game from the Arcades at our own houses...and FREE PLAY hahah. But ya man, those good old days are gone, along with so many other things that made growing up in the 90's f'n amazing

Those were the simple days in gaming. No over the board reviews and drama over game leaks and controversies or micro transactions etc. Just a simple game at the arcade station, or at home via Atari, Snes console. These games were very simple compared to today's complex games and yet the excitement levels were over the top when we would play these games. I guess the day we started treating Video Games as some cooperate industry, we lost passion. Those were the days..
I remember I used to play this all the time as a kid when my mom went to go get her hair done. They removed it at one point but this game will always hold a special place in my heart
11:05 How nice of Billy! He knows that there's not enough room for all of them at the stage, so he sits it out so his friends can all watch the show. Billy's a real team player. :-) 13:11 So who does El Greco throw his sombrero to if no one's playing Cormano? Serious question. I beat him with Bob, but that was 20 years ago and I forget what happens. It's a pretty cool detail that Cormano goes through the rest of the game wearing El Greco's sombrero, though. :-) 19:03 So Steve sets a dynamite bomb that's big enough to blow down a fort wall _right next to Paco Loco's head,_ and the corpse doesn't even quiver when the bomb goes off. Paco Loco must be one heavy dude. Sunset Riders was a pretty sweet game. This guy has all four characters linked to one player, but I actually got to experience the game with myself and three other players back at a bowling alley in Saint Louis those twenty years back. Just like any Gauntlet game with four players, Sunset Riders got pretty intense and twice as insane. Good work, Konami!
Yea you gotta love the detail they put to this game. It’s no wonder it’s a forgotten treasure that everyone loves and remembers from their younger years. If there’s no Cormano when Greco dies, his hat just flies off.
