This version seriously sounds better than the studio version. Both are amazing but his voice just excels in this. Bowie just has one of those voices that carries and never fails to impress.
Version good but in NO WAY is it better than the studio or this live version (see link). The chunking rhythm guitar is so loud it turns this version into a semi-metal version of China Girl. Version good but in NO WAY is it better than the studio or this live version (see link). The chunking rhythm guitar is so loud it turns this version into a semi-metal version of China Girl. Listen to the live version link I posted... you hear the subtle tasty guitar parts in this version! Not sure if the guitarist ruined it or the sound man did? Anyhoo, it's not a metal chord pedalling song!
