    I really like your Tank Style Series. You brought many beautiful obscured pieces into spotlight. Not just Cartier and Reverso again and again. I'm a fan now.

    So glad to see you've made another video on Tank style watches (and added some of my suggestions too). I'm now in love with a different shape of watch- equestrian. The Ralph Lauren stirrup line is my new eye candy- very classy!

    Herbelin is a great mention. I actually forgot their existing.
    07:55 Exactly.
    I own a Frederique Constant Classic Quarz (not rectangular), which has two hands.
    Btw: an amazing manufactured watch.
    Talking about FC.
    Also the Frederique Constant Classic Carreé Automatic is also a great rectangular watch.
    But currently I'm focused on Cartier Tank Must Solar, if it's about rectangular watches.

    I'm glad your video features the Lip Churchill. I did mention it in a comment on a previous episode of your rectangular dress watch series. T18 is genuinely the name of one of Lip's in-house mechanical movement, the one who was in the watch given to Winston Churchill by the French government after ww2 in a gold version .
    Today there's not only a quartz version around 200 euros, there is also an automatic version with a Japanese movement around 500euros.
    (You have to pronounce the last sound of Herbelin as the last sound of Ulysse Nardin, as the last sound of "vin" or "pain" (wine and bread in french))

    • @KillingTimeWithNorman
      @KillingTimeWithNorman  2 роки тому +1

      I think that comment was the reason it was featured :)
      Oh! Thanks for that correction!

    • @carlito1777
      @carlito1777 2 роки тому

      Yes, but mechanical one seems too big compared to original Churchill. The t18 quartz is the best modele in my mind (to slide it through a shirt, what is the real purpose of the original watch).

    I desperate want to add a tank style to the collection; I just haven’t found one that really just hits the trifecta of love it, can find it, can afford it. I might just have to engage in some actual buffeting and save up for the Oris or a used Cartier.

    Hi Norman. Your late-night editions have become a staple of mine. Keep up the great work. My dear wife is always egging me on to showcase the aforementioned collection on YT. Check out the Heritor Frederick. It's rectangular, automatic, has small seconds, and ... (wait for it) ... no date complication. I don't know much about the brand Heritor, but I liked the art deco vibe. Jomashop had it in stock, then it was out of stock, then they had it in stock again.
