dec 1 gang?
howd it go
Took the November SAT today... reading was a little more difficult than usual, but writing was easier. Unfortunately, math was VERY easy which will probably mean a curve similar to that of June.
I took the PSAT on October 6th and I had the same situation to yours in that I felt the Math section No Calc. was too easy.
score?

Hello. I am a teacher, and since quite a while I have been seeing this problem again and again in my students that though they have read the best SAT Writing books twice, and they can answer most of the questions in book exercises correct, they can't score well in the actual test. What should they do to bridge this gap between books and SAT writing? Would you recommend making notes or cheatsheet?
If you have any advice please let me know.
I put B. So glad i got it right!
How long do you recommend people to study for the SAT?
at least 30 min a day
At least 30 minutes a day you can't be serious . I think 3-4 hour is adequate time to study the Sat but if you wanna study harder as me you need to study 5 - 6 hours
2-6 months 4-10 hours a week.
Depends on your score goal and how far away you are from it compared to a practice test and whether or not your score was affected from timing, focus, or not knowing the content. If you have lots of time to get a decent score, 30min a day is fine. If you're aiming for a competitive score or have little time till your next test, then go for a few hours or how ever much time you have. Hope this helps!
It also depends on one's cognitive skills, like whether one acquires or understands things faster than others.
Taking the SAT in less than a month (Dec 1st) 🙌🏻 who’s going to take it the same day?
it's in like 5 days! i'm so nervous
hey serena how as your sat
She failed
Makes sense. D would have been correct if it was "compared *to*" instead of compared with. vid really cleared it up! Thanks!
Actually, no. Compared to is generally used to compare to ALIKE things and these are different, so in that sense, "compared with" is better than "compared to." The problem is "less ...than" is the idiomatic phrase and the "less" is planted. You can't change that. If you expressed the idea differently or even in a different order, "compared with might" be right (i.e. Compared with other seniors, these 12th graders were less likely to do community service may be OK but it's still perhaps not the cleanest. "Unlike" is generally better in such a case as it is less wordy).
Wait, no, Unlike is weird. "Unlike" other seniors, they were less likely... (that's totally awkward). Maybe Unlike other seniors, they seldom did community service. That works.
Compared with students is not grammatically correct in this case. Since you're comparing different types of students (one requires volunteer and one doesn't), it should be compared to, not compared with.
Kui Ma and the sat tries to hurt non native English speakers with this because most other languages say with
But it’s sounds like the best answer. The SAT is just a game, and not a application that improves substantial learning
Actually, isn't "compared to" used when you are comparing similarities between two things, and "compared with" is used when you are contrasting two things?
Anirudh Pai compared with is used when there’s both similarities and differences. This example is solely the differences.
I didn't know you can publicly go over SAT questions even if they were released with the QAS? Does this mean I can go over them with my friends that are also trying to prepare? 🤔
I just took the November sat test, and it was weirdly easy. Do you think there will be a harsh curve like the June sat again?
score?
She made a 1040
November sat..OOF
Do a video on honors colleges!
The explanation is fine for students who already have a good grasp of the English language. However, for everyone else (i.e. international students), "this sounds weird/does it sound weird" is not good enough of an explanation.
What's the best SAT English/writing prep book
hello there, super tutor 😭😭 I'm in a serious problem 😭 tbh, I'm not confident with the SAT math at all !!! I started my SAT clz last Saturday. I feel so inconfident in math. I really wish to work hard if you can show a path to follow.. 😒😞
Would it B still be grammatically correct if ‘did’ was not there??
W vamp carti reference in the beginning
Quite easy . Ps: I'm not even taking sat.
Who’s last minute cramming with me 🙃
The word pairs make it should like a little kids paper, I didn’t know that was a thing- I used to avoid answers with word pairs cause it sounded weird
What should I do if I have gone through the 8 practice tests that the college board put out? I want to do 2 more practice tests
Two more on this list: supertutortv.com/resources from State Of Maine statewide test.
I'd say go for some practice tests in other prep books like Barron's or try finding older tests online
www.supertutortv.com/resources lists 2 more from state of Maine
you can also do the Princeton review tests.
Please help i wrote wrong test date on my exam will this affect my score
Where can I find the October 2018 International SAT test questions ?
Int'l test isn't released in Oct. Only May Int'l tests are released officially. The US Oct Test has been publicly released to students who ordered the QAS (Question and Answer Service). As a result, its contents will not be reused by College Board in a future test.
Did anyone else here take the October 2021 SAT and saw THE FIRST PROBLEM also on the test?
March 9 gang
Luckily I can do this question correctly, but with a lot of effort! 😰
I need advice! Do colleges look at freshmen grades heavily? Because I have a C+ from freshmen year and I don't want that to affect my chance into getting into a really good college. Also, the grade was from an elective class so I don't know if that is really important
SupertutorTV, if you see this, could you please make videos with tips and strategy for essay and reading.
My problem with writing essay is that I write like a 6th or 7th grader but I am a junior. So I need to improve on that.
For my reading, I read slower than a lot of students in my grade and sometimes don't understand what I just read. I need to improve on that too.
I might take the ACT (with essay) in a few months.

Hi
Wow I thought this was an obvious question
A whole minute in and she still didn’t talk about what the title suggests.
this makes me feel stupid
It's not about feelings but reality
even her tone is scary
How about my Republican voice?
Rijul Ranjan this country is a democracy... she’s means democratic as your democratic right to vote.
@@fiza7418 Sure
Yes, sorry for confusion-- I did mean democratic in terms of a democratic system. I apologize if that was unclear.
a young democratic government: elected, representative, popular, parliamentary; egalitarian, classless; self-governing, autonomous, republican.
@@brookifyd Ok, thanks for clarifying
Wow this wasn't hard i though it would be lol
