Hello! You'll need to write for 5 minutes, so the more organised and clear your ideas are, the better. If you practise essay writing it will definitely help!
Hi sir, First of all thanks for your teaching. It is really awesome. Sir I have a doubt. For writing questions - Which is important 'Number of Words' or 'Using quality of words without grammer mistake'. Kindly clear this doubt sir.
i have appeared in exam and I got result 110 but my requirement was 13 0, the score in each module was 110 in speaking, 95in writing, 120 and 120 in reading and listening. could you gv some tips for improving.
I really don't understand this method of evaluating someone's English proficiency. Of course, if we're talking about a test for an English major or an academic position in literature, it is relevant to expect them to use high-level words and expressions. However, for the general public and even students in other fields, especially STEM, it seems unreasonable. Overall, I think that current English proficiency evaluation methods don't reflect the practical ability of a person. Instead, they measure how much time someone has spent learning fancy words and complicated structures that will not be used in the real world or even in the academic writings of their fields.
Hi, I'm preparing the DET now. For the interactive writing, I'm told to write at least 120 words for the 5-min writing and 90 min for the 3-min. So it often happens in practice that I use up all the 5 or 3 min for writing, leaving no time for checking. Then many small typos and grammar errors are undeteced. What should I do? Does the DET really say >= 120 and 90 words for them?
Hi! The more you write, the better, but it also needs accuracy. So try to practice with a timer and write about different topics in less than 5 or 3 min, and leave 30 seconds or so for reading and checking your grammar. Good luck!

Hello! Remember it's not just about the amount of words, it's also about the complexitiy of the senteces, how words/ideas are connected, the structures you use. Cheers!
@@LastMinuteEnglish I have appeared in exam and I got result 105 but my requirement was 120, the score in each modul was 120 in speaking, 110 in writing, 100 and 90 in reading and listening. Can you suggest to me how to improve in reading and listening ?
@@codervishwesh Keep practising and do it on a daily basis; read different types of materials every day (articles, for example), and also listen to podcasts about varied topics (you can check them on Spotify, for example). Good luck!

I've got a very important question. In the interactive writing section are we required to write an essay or just a paragraph is acceptable?

Same question! I've watched tons of videos that say you should write paragraphs and not essays. Just feel confused.

Hi! Definitely, it's more important accuracy than number of words. Ideally, a combination of both for a better score!
@LastMinuteEnglish Thanks sir for your information 👍☺️
