Very intelligent man David frost rip .thankyou Paul for another great show ❤
Hi David Frost show was very good to watch good evening and welcome well know fraz. R.i.P.
David Frost was a 'heavyweight' interviewer. His interviews with Enoch Powell & Richard Nixon 2 of the most controversial political figures of all time, will still be etched in the memories of some if not many. Great content Alan, thoroughly enjoyed this!😊
Thank you Adrian. It was exactly what you said from my memory as well. Great comment my friend alan
Yes for me one of the 'best British' interviewers of all time! As ever great content, Alan, respect & thanks also!
I was his driver for 12 years. Never saw him get upset ever.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally. it has in your case. Allan
David Nixon was a magician. I didn't know he worked his magic in the Whitehouse too! 🙂
Such Modest Stones and surroundings, for someone so rich and famous.
I was at Wellingborough Grammar School during the 1960s. Each year a prominent, but (to us) boring famous person would be invited to do the school speech day. The only plus point was that we had the afternoon off from lessons.
In around 1964 David Frost was the guest speaker. He was a former pupil at the Grammar School. David was engaging and funny. The first and probably only time we ever laughed at something said from the platform. David’s dad was a local Methodist minister and for couple of years David was a Local Preacher
Sir David Frost was a great broadcaster and entertainer. thank you for making things interesting
I loved through the keyhole R.IP Sir no David🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖
Bernadette Sir David was an entertainment and an asset in many directions. We love this presence on TV. Thank you for your encouragement. Regards, Alan
We all appreciate your hard work in researching these dead celebrities and their final resting places.....Thankyou..
Hi Mark i doing with pleasure Thank you for taking the time Alan
Thanks Alan, always remember David's shows and appearances on TV what a great man he was and so sad his son died young 😢🙏
Hi Derik It was a very intelligent and professional man with a light-hearted site to him as well. Very deadpan delivery And it was ridiculously young for his son, wasn't it? Thank you for the comment Alan
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep Very young yes, I spent 12 years of my life working on churches and cathedrals around the country always good to pop inside to look around 👍😁
@@derekmanton7201 Ok I say what a nice way to do your job travelling around. I presume you're a builder. If you know any good celebrity graves let me know. See you later. Derek
Remember David Frosts show in America. He was a Guest on the Johnny Carson Show.Promoting the Nixon interviews.Carson asked how he could fly from England to the United States several times a month, and not suffer from jet lag.Frost said luck and discipline. Some of us liked when he had members of Monty Python on his American show.Sort of introduced John Cleese,Michael Palin and Eric Idle to American audiences.
I remember Sir David frost on TV and I liked the keyhole it was my favourite TV program!!!
Hi Charlotte its a very interesting programme trying to guess Best Alan
Another amazing story I watched him again with my mum as I was growing up and after i had my first 2 children. He was on our screens all the time . Again good memories brought back. It's nice to reminisce back to when It was just me and my mum as my dad died a week after my 9th birthday and got no brothers and sisters lost my mum in 1990 . This is one reason I love your videos it's good to hear about the people who you watched on TV hear their stories. Thanks again Alan for a brilliant video love Gill from Holmfirth West Yorkshire 💙
Hi Gill It shows you that Billy Fury is still well remembered. Then when they give him the nickname it was a very very pretty grave You take care. I'll see you soon. Alan
It seems that in death these stars are alone in mostly deserted places.....very sad but you handle this so wonderfully...
Hello! SS I agree to a very large degree in many cases which is surprising and sad. There are exceptions but it's the minority that seem to get the continual afterthought by people that remembered them. I think it's just a reality of life. People don't have the time, but you think they're hardcore fans would. Not always the case though Joe longthorne in Blackpool was like a florist shop !
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep Joe was gifted and I remember him so much..his Shirley B was so spot on
Thanks for that I always enjoyed watching SR David frost 👍.
It's surprising how humble the graves of some famous people are.
There's something uncanny about knowing that a familiar celebrity is lying in a box six feet below you.
At least you didn't have to go through the keyhole to find him. RIP David Frost.
No I would not fit :-( haha cheers Anthony
David Frost was among the first of the popular interviewers: his style was always laid back, and he was very entertaining.✝️RIP
Thanks great 👍 show
All the best Brian
Amazing entrance with your photo and him
Often wondered why his production company was called Paradine Productions the company that owns the rights to “Through the Keyhole”
I love your videos watch them a lot
well done Alan, remember some of his interviews so well, particularly the famed Nixon one, very plain headstone too for such an enigmatic man.
Very Good 👍 ENJOYED IT BRIAN UPTON ROLLESTON ON DOVE
Thanks once again Alan for a interesting and lovely tribute to one of our most iconic broadcasters of our time. 🙏
Hi Graham I know it's always hard to remember they're not around anymore when you've watched them for so many years. Thank you for the nice comment cu soon Alan
Great video !
Thank you so much for this video. How amazing that such an internationally famous man has such a modest gravestone.
I agree Cheers Roberta
Hey Alan great post this yes amazeing church and David was always on TV
Hi Andy It was a very friendly little church with free tea and coffee and biscuits, but they won't let me stay overnight. I had to move on ahaha
Rest in peace
Your Famo;us Graves films are SO good and the info. you give is SO interesting, and I enjoy them SO much - Thank You! Please could you sometime find the grave of the Actor Ronald Lewis? Many Thanks.
Great video Alan obviously growing up in the 70s 80s 90s knew of him of course! Always think it’s strange most of these famous celebrities don’t have much family mention or fans? ❤
A really great man he was I liked him in threw the keyhole nice to see his son next to him I wonder where all his awards are now! Crackin video till the next one 😊
He was a great interview on politics to speak to Nixon for all that time and then he could do media and interviewing all arounder. Thank you for the nice comment June wonderful comments! June!
It was Richard Nixon not David 👍
Very interesting. Looks a very peaceful place ❤
Very interesting story great memories
It always surprises me how celebrities as big as him...don't get many visitors....same was with Russell harty...no flowers...it just makes me wonder if family just don't bother after they've gone..sad in a way....
Hello, Carlos I totally agree and sometimes the graves are neglected you think more fans would also go etc. I'm thinking of taking a plant pot with a little sign in it of the channel and leaving that on everyone Best Alan.
Yes always amazes me as well, Tommy Coopers was probably the worst I’ve seen.😀👍
Yes Russell Harty was a sad loss.
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep I think that would be a nice touch +/ or give the memorial a bit of a tidy up. Russel Har tys grave stone needed a quick sweep! I enjoy your vids thanks
People have lives to live. And they may not visit graves. Then how many are you going to visit. This church was close to his house and its out of the way.
He had so many many friends. He had a stored room of letters from fans. He never threw away a letter kept them all. They could have filled a whole house..
Another great video Alan it was a shame you had to walk all round the place And it was right by you're ride.. It's also nice they are buried together farther and son. Keep up the good work mate.
Hello English Bull, thank you so much for your encouragement. It was alright. It was only a small churchyard I usually look at the pictures on the internet so I can get a good idea but there was only a video and it looked like the back but never mind. You can't imagine that he did 20 years of through keyhole can you :-)
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep He was a hardworking man 20 years is a long time. No flowers on the greave was a bit sad but you talking about these people keeps there existence going. Well done mate. I love talking about my loved ones and friends that are gone coz it's like there still here and not forgotten. Cheers Alan.
Thank you. Upvoted. Subscribed
Thank you Beverly. I'll watch out.
Another good one Alan they always really interesting
Maureen, you give me the fuel to carry on? Thank you Best Alan
wondered what happened to David Frost thanks for sharing
It's lovely quiet location. The churches offer single track road
Such a great presence on TV, sad when you find the grave sites and it appears that no one visits or tends the grave. Love your down to earth take. Thanks for the memories of these folks now gone who on the whole brought entertainment into our lives
That's very constructive of you Catherine. I appreciate your encouragement. I'll watch out for you in the future. Regards, Alan
THANKS FOR THIS
I was quite surprised how unkept SDF's grave was and a lack of flowers or ornaments.
Yes it sad I agree
It looks to be of inferior stone !🏚
Well said 👏🏻
How have I missed this? What a coincidence, must of just missed each other. ;-)
One common thing one notices is how little people bother with graves in this country. I went to Austria once and visited several graveyards and all were full of UpToDate: clean, new memorabilia. TBH, I dont visit my dearly departed. I dont really know why
Alan you be hitting 1 million subs before you know it
Very nice vlog 👍👍👍👍
Thank you 😊
David Nixon was a magician, Richard Nixon was a President 😂.
Great vid!!
Danny
Hi TWWD your kind best Alan
Hi Alan. Great to see David's grave. More details about Michael jackson please. Wow!
Good show on great guy.
Beautiful location for David frost final resting place
Thanks very much but I am continually disappointed at the condition of the Headstones.
My Mum died on the 25th May,1996 and though 26 years ago,is in much better shape than 80%+ of the Celebrity ones I see, though, often, they have died more recently.
Does nobody ever visit the grave?
You kept saying David Nixon (the conjurier) when you meant Richard Nixon
NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE 😁😀✌️
Thanks for subbing! Janice, that sweet
It's Richard nixon not david nixon
2 or 3 years ago I went to see the grave of Dusty Springfield, lots of flowers, that says a lot
I think the stones reflect how much they cared about how they , looked after death .
Your dead ,your dead .
The dead don't mix socially.
Richard Nixon NOT David
David Nixon, lol.
Why does he keep calling him David Nixon?,it's RICHARD Nixon
It call a mistake
So sad no flowers 😢
Brilliant as always but could I ask a massive favour, is there any chance you do Reg and Ronnie Krays please xx
Janet, thank you ever so much for the positive comment it's lovely of you. I've already done the Krays a couple of months ago and I will upload it. For personal reasons, I had to take some time off and I'm still finding it a little bit difficult to upload. But I will do it I promise you soon. Thank you, Alan
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep Hope you are feeling ok, love your videos, you are a joy to watch, so much information xx
👍
Richard Nixon.
🙂👍
Cheers Andrew
And now for our home and studio audience… but not for our panel … he’s whose grave it is ….
Richard Nixon?
A very plain gravestone for such a celebrity.. no flowers or decoration... so sad .😇
What i notice is the total absence of flowers
Did you sign the book ( s )
Here Today gone Tomorow! Sorry on Screaming 👍
I only liked him in through the keyhole with Lloyd grossman
I visit parents grave and spend time taking of very dead flowers every time. To the point I’m not having a pot for flowers on mine at all, no point, to me dead withering flowers is worse than none at all. Adult children have their own lives to be going on with, it isn’t the concern of anyone else. Famous people are just the same, once their wife / husband has gone that’s it. In David’s case his 32 year old son Wilfred( I think that’s his name) dropped dead out jogging just 2/3 after his dad so his widow and other 2 boys would have been knocked sideways by that. .
Wow I'm out of touch ! I didn't even know he died !! Lol .
Its not David nixon
Thanks for that. His death went under the radar. Next time you go to a Jewish cemetery wear your woolly hat!
Hi Nath ☺️
So his grave is not clarified??
Sorry Will I don't know what you mean ?
Sorry, in your documentary near the end you say his wife keep where his final resting place is a secret, so his final resting place is still not clarified? Or am I losing the plot 🤣🤣
This people were true gernalist . Not for too much money
Please Stop doing these Shows, there's a far better bloke doing it.
There’s no compulsion to watch.
If you don’t like ‘these shows’ watch a ‘far better bloke doing it’.
This is a sick channel😡😡
I always remember when frosty confronted the Indian born insurance man on TV. He was accused of scamming people.
Who the hell is David Nixon ?
The sound of Frost speaking was SO unpleasant. If there's an afterlife I think he'll do the PA announcements!
