Big Area and Captain of Her Heart are the only ones I know. I like this channel because though I'm older than you, it lets me compare your past with mine in the USA. Thanks Elaine!

I love taking a look back at what we were listening to. You had a big advantage for so much new music and movies. They would come out in the USA and we'd have to wait for months for the UK release 😂 That's one thing about digital I'll never complain about 😆. Looking forward to more shared memories!

Interesting selection. Its great to hear an ever so slightly alternative selection of 80s hits here. For me, i'd say Then Jerico should have been bigger, listening now to songs like Muscle Deep, The Motive, What does it take and some others it makes me wonder how the F this band were not huge. Muscle Deep was in recent times voted by a well known radio presenter as one of the best hits of the 80s never to reach the top 40 also The Motive was the most played song on Radio 1 of any artist in 1987 so I guess The Motive would also be one of those rare gems that if people of a certain age heard today, theyd think.... Wait a sec i remember thos one Wow.
Anyway, keep up the good work, love the content 👍👌

Great points & I totally agree! I’ll never understand why some songs & artists unfairly slip into the forgotten category. Love the trivia info - if we ever created a pub quiz the questions would be on another level 😂

What is the name of the 80s song whose video clip shows a man on a TV screen teaching people how to dance? He said: Step 1....Step 2....and Dance!

I've been racking my brains and you've got me stumped! I can only think of Talking Heads but I don't think that's correct. Do you know when it came out?
