- Billy Connolly and I have a long story. Out of the thin air I got a Billy Connolly CD from my best friend after he went to The Orkneys for summer school. He saw the CD "The Pick of Billy Connolly" in a second hand shop over there and found the cover hilarious so he bought if for me as a gift. Him and me used used hours and hours listening to that CD and slowly we started to understand his Glasgow accent and then Billys world opened up for him and me...

I went to his first ever show in the pavilion Glasgow, I came out and my jaw was sore from so much laughter. I have since saw him so many times he never disappoints
Best thing is Tom trying to interrupt and say things like "we" when talking about those in charge, trying to seem more important than Billy. Billy cares not a jot and carries on being the comedy GOAT..

Love Billy Connolly! He’s as clever as he is hilarious. Loved his World Tour of Australia too. He’s wife grew up here. I did watch The Last Samurai but I can’t stand Tom Cruise. He’s mental. (Kudos to Billy for,putting up with him) The Last Samurai would have been better if they bumped Tom Cruise off and let Billy Connolly live, haha. Envious of your high horse T-shirt. 🙂
