- Anna Lapwood playing Hans Zimmer's Chevaliers de Sangreal from The Da Vinci Code as part of the Organ Celebration on Sunday 4th June 2023 at the Royal Albert Hall.
When you watch Anna's own video of this piece she highlights the use of the tubular bells at the beginning which is such a beautiful touch.

Anna is as lovely as her playing!! Beautiful!!!
Wonderful! Anna is amazing. I love it when the big tubes start sounding!
Black dots to brain from eyes, brain assimilates, brain to fingers and feet by nerves, thence to pipes by air pressure, thus sound emits. All in a split second! How is this ever possible?
An absolute joy, you can really hear the power of the organ.❤❤❤
Greetings from Tucson, Arizona USofA.
I first heard you perform this magnificent piece a few months ago and ordered the sheet music.
I also enjoyed your 'duet' with Bonobo..
I'm not sure why, but this music is transcendental, perhaps because of the film associations with it, but I think it is more than that. It touches my soul.
That's the magic of Hans Zimmer. Interstellar soundtrack was recorded from this organ.
@@fyrman9092if I recall correctly it was another organ for interstellar
I believe this confirms that the Albert Hall Willis organ is not the oone used to record the film music: ua-cam.com/video/pcaOVCnsYJM/v-deo.html
Agreed on it being transcendent. I have not seen the movie, but the music carries me to another…place? Dimension? State of being?
Her music and how she plays are an amazing performance
Lovely! Instrument, Anna, and the music piece.
Best ever heard!
Anna is the only woman that makes me feel goosebumps and get teary eyed similarly. What a talent!
Anna has seemed to fill a musical void we didn’t even know we had until we hear her music, talent and grace. She is truly a gem.
Live played gives so much more depth and emotions
Amazing how this music was adapted from an orchestral arrangement to an organ.
The organ is the orchestra
Makes me shiver
Hi,Den here. I'll call this the green and red version.
I don’t like this : monotonous and pedestrian
People believe the hype around Anna Lapwood and buy into it.
She has good contacts and uses them remorselessly and shamelessly....the BBC , Classic FM etc
O, if others could ride on the cash cow she herself milks .
This is a dirge nothing more and the music and artist are underwhelming imo.
Many aspiring students (without her privileges ) would love the supreme access to the RAH she has bagged for herself and the ‘ in house’ organ for practice , as and when the fancy takes her!
A good explanation of the endless effort required to keep achieving. It is more than being musical, more than being entitled, it is a 24*7 effort. Others will follow on from Anna however, for now, she is the star that makes a lot of people happy!
I wouldn’t describe myself as a fan but I applaud what she is doing to promote the organ and for female organists. I traipse round all manner of venues in recital season and into London and the musicians are overwhelmingly male. Looks she’s pretty, slim and handles it like a boss
If you don't like her or her playing then why are you even here? If you've nothing nice to say because of your jealousy then don't watch and collect a pint of gravy for that chip on your shoulder on your way out.
Oh dear, someone’s knickers are in a twist…
