'till this moment I still can't accept that he is gone..It's really hard to process losing him...and the fact that we will never get to listen to any albums recorded by him ever again, as well as him playing with Shellac....fuck, it really hits so hard.
It's such a loss, although one small consolation is that Shellac's last album, To All Trains, comes out tomorrow, May 17th. I intend to listen intently and pour one out for Steve
Well 1st time I've heard this band,.. this interesting mix of the Drums dropping in & out of the tune the sound of the Bass & Guitar leaving lots of space for the drummer to accent & play in & out of time!- is really something cool & unusual as a drummer myself, I listen to many styles of music; & grew up on early punk/prog/radio rock/pop... the core sound reminds me of Early Gang of Four songs it difficult to be Original in todays Mismash of bands out there but this band certainly has a really unique song writing process..!! i love this approach!
@@distantyahoo A better way of saying it, is for the saved, this is the closest to hell that we will ever get. For the unsaved, this is the closest to heaven that they will ever get.
@@tjord I didn't make it up.. this is the promise the Lord made, that if you trust in the sacrifice he made then you will go to heaven. Take it up with him.

Can’t agree more to this. Monumental loss!
Same. I'm glad I got to thank him for the 90s a few years ago 💔
The lyrics on the last song of the last Shellac album right after Albini dies are about Heaven and He🏒🏒
RIP Steve :(
I agree Steve’s passing hit me hard too. Considering Shellac is probably my favourite band.
I was there... this was maybe the best show I've seen by them and I saw quite a few.
Even with absolute shit quality sound from someone's phone into mine, the essence of Shellac comes through

This song goes too hard
This has the vibe of that lock groove of that song on Terraform. I like it for that reason.
Mouth full of garbage
So rad how they unwind the riff at the end by playin dif parts then Albini expands on the chord in such a raw way bravo 👏
I called it "the song where they go blingblingblingbling at the end"
@@mileshedgehog haha that works too
Trainor.
:(
You will.
I don't fear Narnia or Atlantis either
I wonder how he is enjoying hell.
joke's on us. this is hell.

I really hope you don’t believe that save/unsaved rap.
