Big Black are an underrated band. Also the Gene Simmons story is pretty funny because during an interview he pretty much said how he hates grudge music as far to call grudge artists a bunch of "lumberjacks" and in another interview he said no iconic bands came out of the 1990's.

I once met Steve while touring with my brother's band in Spain (they were friends back in the early 90's) and he was actually really funny and nice, the only thing I found odd/funny was that his tour manager told us to "Please don't drink around him, he hates drunk people". So we ended up having dinner together in a nice little bistro and my brother and him were talking music and just shooting the shit, I took out my camera to snap a picture and he saw it and I gotta say... alongside being one of the best producers ever, dude knows his stuff when it comes down to photography as well.
