Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I agree that it will stop leaks. It's good stuff. Either way if you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
For the wood by the A/C that got wet you can soak it with Wood Hardener, it’s a resin that soaks into the wood, hardens and waterproofs. It can be screwed into without cracking.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. That's some good information and I didn't know anything like that existed. Thanks! I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Great Job!. I was shocked to see how clean you got the roof. When the weather cools a bit I'll be up on by roof. Only comment I would make is I would have painted both AC covers white. More reflective and keeps the unit running cooler. thank you!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. RV,s are a ton of work. Someone needs to make a complete maintenance free model! Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Hi Warren, Thanks for the comments and watching! Yeah it doesn't look that bad considering the age of the RV! I've seen the guy you mention in your other comments and you're right he knows his stuff! Either way I do appreciate you watching. If you have'nt done so already, please do me a BIG favor, hit the like button and subscribe please. As you can see I'm a pretty new UA-camr and every sub helps a lot.
Thanks! Yeah someone else said that white would have been a better choice but one of the units was already brown. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing and liking my channel. I would really appreciate it!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I always try my best when working on or building things. If you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing. I would really appreciate it!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I really like the Eternabond and seems to hold up well too. I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing . I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Hi Chipper, thanks for the comments and watching. I really appreciate it.. this is my first experience with it but I'm impressed already... you're right, once it's stuck it's definitely stuck!
I just subscribed great video! You ever think of putting some type of rv armor or flex seal on top of the whole roof? I’ve heard rv armor does not stick to the eternabond tape tho but maybe the white flex seal does
Hi, thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing for sure!. Yeah I’ve looked into some of the roof coatings and will try to do that later this year. Thanks again.
Glad it may have been helpful to you. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Man you did a great job on this! I have to do the same thing on my Keystone 5th Wheel. I'll be putting in a new skylight & using Enterabond around all my vents. Thanks for a great video. Looks like you used the 6 " roll of tape?
Hi thanks for watching and the very kind comments. I used some 6 around the edges of the roof and 4 around vents etc. If you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. I think it does a great job sealing potential leak areas for sure. Very sticking stuff! I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing and hitting the like button. Let me know how the Eternabond works out for you.
I used a combination of both. I think I went around vents and stuff on roof with 4" and a long the edges with 6". It is extremely sticky. As far as going along the edges I think I found the best solution as seen in the video. Let me know how it goes for you if you use it. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Yes, it did for me. I think it's key to clean the areas very well before sticking the stuff down. Once it's stuck, it's stuck. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing. I would really appreciate it!
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments. No I didn't do the slide outs, at least not yet but I probably will at some point. I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing and hitting the like button. Thanks again.
Hi, thanks for watching and the comments. I really appreciate it. Yes you are correct. That would have been a safer approach for sure. Luckily I never went too deep with the blade. I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing and hitting the like button. Thanks!
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments! That’s good advice that I didn’t consider. If you haven’t done so already please consider subscribing. If you already have, I really appreciate it.
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments! That’s good advice that I didn’t consider. If you haven’t done so already please consider subscribing. If you already have, I really appreciate it.
Thanks for watching and the comments. It was ok on mine but not sure if you could do it on all rv''s. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I think I got it on Amazon. It's called Eternabond and comes in 4 and 6 inch widths. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it! Thanks
Looks good, but I have heard horror stories about the tape shrinking and letting water in past the tape. It’s an absolute nightmare to remove and repair the damage.
Hi, thanks for the watching and the comments. I have noticed some wrinkling begining to show, but am thinking it is temperature related. I don't see it turning loose anywhere as that is some of the stickest stuff I have ever seen. I can see why it would be a pain to remove. If it does become a problem, I might as well pull the entire roof off because I won't be able to just remove the tape. I'm going to keep an eye on it and do another video if I have problems with it. Either way, if you haven't done so already, please consider Subscribing and tap the bell icon. I would really appreciate you doing that if you would please. Thanks again.
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments. I cleaned everything real good including the gutters. I then rolled the tape down into the gutter the best i could. It does cut down the capacity of the gutters a bit, but doesn't appear to be a problem. The reason I went into the gutter is the way mine is built, the screws holding the gutter go through the gutter, through the sealing putty, through the roofing material and into the wall. That is a huge leak potential right there! They seal the top of the gutter metal to the roofing material with a tiny bead of caulk. I show that in my video. The caulk dries out and can let water down behind the gutter and into the wall. The tape is holding up very well and staying adhered nicely. The think I have noticed however is that it expands and contracts a good bit. Some days it appears wrinkled and some days it's laying nice and flat. Look for my 1 year review video and you can see what I'm talking about. Either way, if you haven't done so already, Please consider Subscribing and hit the like botton. I really appreciate each and every subscriber as I strive to grow my channel. I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks again.
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments. I probably could have just gone over it, but it was really pretty loose and no trouble to remove. If it had still been adhered well, I would have gone over it. Either way, thanks again! I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing. I REALLY appreciate each and every sub.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. My plan was to come back and do that. I wound up selling the RV though. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I probably could have but I feel the EternaBond is a better more permanent solution. I think you may have already but if not please consider Liking and Subscribing. I would really appreciate it.
Hi, thanks for watching and the comments. Yeah I probably should have just painted both of the white. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate that.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. To be honest I don't have a good answer for you. I could have cleaned the complete roof first but felt that I didn't want to track all over it while working on the tape. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
I did that 8 years ago and work out very well. No worry about water leakage at the roof line.

Looks great definitely breathed some new life into the roof !

All looks great. I think I would have painted the a/c covers white so it repelled the sun a little
Thanks! Yeah someone else said that white would have been a better choice but one of the units was already brown. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing and liking my channel. I would really appreciate it!
Thanks for shering, very joyfull video and very good job upthere.

Nice video. Im getting to the point of being tired of dealing with Dicor and thinking about Eternabond.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I really like the Eternabond and seems to hold up well too. I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing . I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Eternabond is a great product. I've been using this stuff for quite some time. Once it's stuck it's stuck.
Hi Chipper, thanks for the comments and watching. I really appreciate it.. this is my first experience with it but I'm impressed already... you're right, once it's stuck it's definitely stuck!
Any guy that sports a Victorinox is a great guy in my book
I've had many over time. Never been without one.
I just subscribed great video! You ever think of putting some type of rv armor or flex seal on top of the whole roof?
I’ve heard rv armor does not stick to the eternabond tape tho but maybe the white flex seal does

I found a super legit channel called RV Roof install… when and if the time comes for a new roof this guy knows his stuff..
Thanks Warren for the comments!
How has the tape held up after rain has run through the gutters a few times? Are you losing adhesion anywhere?
I think it is still stuck pretty well. I'll get some pix the first chance I get.
Did you use 6" width or 4" width tape? Just wondering if one is easier to manage given how sticky this stuff is?
I used a combination of both. I think I went around vents and stuff on roof with 4" and a long the edges with 6". It is extremely sticky. As far as going along the edges I think I found the best solution as seen in the video. Let me know how it goes for you if you use it. Did the tape make a good solid bond without using primer?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Yes, it did for me. I think it's key to clean the areas very well before sticking the stuff down. Once it's stuck, it's stuck. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing. I would really appreciate it!
Close one eye and squint with the other 🤣
That's usually the way I look at most things! Thanks for the comment and for watching! I really appreciate it.
Did you do the slide outs with the Eturnabond
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments. No I didn't do the slide outs, at least not yet but I probably will at some point. I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing and hitting the like button. Thanks again.
removing that calking where the roof meats the side wall would better be done with a plastic scraper
Hi, thanks for watching and the comments. I really appreciate it. Yes you are correct. That would have been a safer approach for sure. Luckily I never went too deep with the blade. I think you may have already but if not please consider subscribing and hitting the like button. Thanks!
Great job! Should have stayed with the white ac covers! The heat load from the sun hurts the ac on hot days by increasing the surface temp!
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments! That’s good advice that I didn’t consider. If you haven’t done so already please consider subscribing. If you already have, I really appreciate it.

Is it ok to stand on the Slide-Out like you did ?
Thanks for watching and the comments. It was ok on mine but not sure if you could do it on all rv''s. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
It is not ok, to stand on any slide, the downward force on the light roof is not meant for weight above 80 lbs
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I stood on mine with no issues. May not be acceptable for all though.
Where can I buy that tape? How many inches wide is it?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I think I got it on Amazon. It's called Eternabond and comes in 4 and 6 inch widths. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it! Thanks

On the side, did you remove you gutter trim and put the eternabond in instead of?
How’s it holding up?

Instead of removing the cauking why dont you just tape over it with eternabond??? save you tons of time and work
Hi and thanks for watching and the comments. I probably could have just gone over it, but it was really pretty loose and no trouble to remove. If it had still been adhered well, I would have gone over it. Either way, thanks again! I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing. I REALLY appreciate each and every sub.
Why not paint with silicone while you were up there

Hey
🙂
Couldn't you have just went over the old caulking?
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I probably could have but I feel the EternaBond is a better more permanent solution. I think you may have already but if not please consider Liking and Subscribing. I would really appreciate it.
I would not have painted black it holds heat
Hi, thanks for watching and the comments. Yeah I probably should have just painted both of the white. I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate that.
Hi why didn’t you clean the roof first?? Then tape it?. Jon🇦🇺
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. To be honest I don't have a good answer for you.
