I love your videos.....Ive watched alot of them, love the detail you bring and more technical commentary. I need some advise if you have a second. Right now im running a DDX 10 in a 1.9cuft tuned to 42 (I know very high lol).BTW if you get a second you can see the last 2 videos I put up are of the system and the type of music I play(rock and rap)......And overall I love the "sound characteristics"...Good punch and seem accurate. Tuning is a tad high I should have went with a 36- 38ish tune as I listen to all kinds of music, but I tuned high because I wanted to make sure I can hit the kick drums in rock music......BUT I want to reach a little lower (bass is non existent under 32hz) at least to 30hz if not to 28........So leads my to my issue, I want more output in a similar "sound" so im looking at getting a 15. Im between RS GOLD V1 15v, DDX 15, , and the VFX 15 (a tad outside the price range but I can make it work lol....But I hope you understand the "sound" im looking for....This is with a Massive D8000 amp (2k at 1ohm) In a Lexus GX 460 (SUV) .....Any help much appreciated, and if you have another recommended sub in the 200-250 (300 if that much better) range let me know.............Every word you used to describe the RS GOLD V2 15 is exactly what im looking for BUT I dont think I have the power to drive it or electrical for it or the wallet right now.... $400 is about $150 over where I want to be.....I know this isnt pertaining to this vid, but I posted on another and never got a response.

Going from a 10” to a 15” is a big jump so make sure you have the room to build a large box. For the subs you mentioned I would recommend at least 3.5 cuft net for those 15’s for SQ and the lows. If not better to go with a 12”. The DDX is a pretty slappy, tight and dry sub so if the 15’s you mentioned the vxf will still have a nice tight punch sound while giving you the lows you want. The RS gold v1 is awesome but smoother with less of that tight slappy bass like the DDX or vxf so if you don’t mind a little smoother sound the RS is awesome. If you want more punchy tight go vxf. Thanks so much for watching i appreciate it. But again for the vxf 15” I would recommend at least 3.5 cuft net minimum and 4cuft if you can and tune to right around 34 hz . On that sub you will still get the punchy upper rock bass but also the low 30 and under. In my opinion the vxf and RS hit the lows better than the DDX.

@@HiFiVector Thanks so much, I have plenty of room to work with (the reason I had the 10 was for a smaller box to fit in a 40-60 spilt section in the back seat of a silverado. This Is now in a GX460 (similar to a 4 runner suv, and I have plenty of space to build up to about 4.0cuft net(5-5.5gross) The ddx 10 is really deprived of lows, and im willing to sacrifice a little bit of slap for some lows.... Just not too muddy/ boomy. I love the way you described the Gold V2, to bad its another $100+ over the VXF (Ive watched all of your videos reviewing these subs) Thanks again....I was concerned with the 34hz tune being too low as ive had Leathal injection 12's at 32hz and seemed to be very far from being able to hit the kicks

OK, yeah then I would definitely go 4 ft.³ in a VXF 15 I think that’ll give you exactly what you’re looking for. Also keep in mind a lot of box builders not by their fault but because of the software they’re using, they may say it’s tune to 32 but it might actually be tuned to 28. I see this all the time so that might’ve been why you had the bad experience with the other box. It may have been actually tuned lower than what it was supposed to be. not saying that’s 100% but I’m saying just keep that in mind I see it happen a lot but 34 Hz would be perfect for that VXF and a four cube.

The Gold v2 just went on sale for an extra $50 off ($349) vs vxf ($309).....Is it worth the extra $40?

That amp shocked the hell out of me…. I just watched a review of the Crunch Px1000.2 from Stero mojo and it barely put out 200watts…. I was expecting the same from this amp 😂

I'm not sure about the amp putting out 1500 watts.
