This is so clean especially with the use of minimal tools, those little speakers pack a punch I'd have gone for a brace in the chambers as that box will flex little

Создавал аналогичный бумбокс, но добавлял солнечную панель на корпус, цена даже с учётом использования б/у деталей или отходов выходила за рамки готовых изделий из магазина. Но зато не такое как у всех, может играть бесконечно долго, особенно солнечным летом.

Very well built, only thing I would have done differently is added 2 more lipo packs one in each speaker compartment and wire them in parallel for even longer runtime. I like my music and loud too !!

@@davidhamm5626 The unit has FM built in, it just needs an antenna socket on the back (or screw a telescope aerial into the top of the radio). You can also get a USB adapter to get DAB on these things as well.
Thank you much for sharing 😂. I got an old generic Pad with horrible sound and crap battery life. Speakers, I got a few great ones and Bluetooth modules as well. DIYer here that most often messed up with own projects but happy after few good ones 😂 still happy ❤
@@DTeK nice you need to think about music being equally balanced rather than too much bass. many people do set things with extra bass, to me it doesn't sound that great. dont get me wrong I play, guitar, Bass guitar, and ukulele. so I have an idea on this. having to much booming bass, you cant hear the vocals, and other instruments that well. Just my thoughts
At the firstpart, I was about to say your cutting lines are uneven. Then I realized you were cutting while the board isnt clamped/fixed on anything or in a vise mad skillz bruh
You can make a video tutorial of a light control only by the sound of the music, that is, if there are other external noises, these do not affect the synchronization of the LEDs.
Good DIY but the concept misses out in ability / strategy to tune the drivers to the box volume to make it sound great normally needs accurate equalization and lpf..hpf filters placed correctly in frequecy spectrum..
Thanks, i build it to be portable but the speaker compartments are pretty close to the ideal size for a sealed box with 4 inch speakers like this one, its also a budget build, i used a simple 2 way crossfire on each speaker, the sound equalization output can also be adjusted in the dsp settings in the radio, in my opinion it sounds great, for even bigger bass output it needed to be ported but with 4 speakers the box size would be much bigger, this small speakers are pretty good, they will sound great on a ported box

Меня ещё волнуют два вопроса: 1. на кой чёрт нужно было делать фрезеровки под круглые динамики? 2. на кой черт четыре динамика с четырьмя усилителями и четыре пассивных излучателя, если результативнее по объёму оставить по одному динамику с усилком, но помощнее и по одной мембране?

wow.i wish i though of this.i came across your video only because i wanted to try and test this very same stereo as i bought it brand new months ago and never fitted it to my car to which i have since sold so i wanted to test it outside of a car so i know its fully working before selling it . This would be an amazing project to mount into a child's bed so they can watch and play with it until you shut it off for bedtime with a smart switch.

The thicker the wood, the better the bass sound. Adding an air port sized for the box, and using particle board instead of wood will also help with the sound.
For those asking If you were to build it yourself, based on the parts list, your looking to spend probably $200 But considering I doubt everyone has that briefcase looking thing I doubt everyone would be able to replicate this exact build. For $200 I'll just buy a prebuilt one from the store.

Bluetooth alone would have been more than good enough. That headunit will become outdated sooner than later.

Nice build, there's too much bass though. Replace the top 2 lager speakers with 2 mid range ones would give a more natural balanced sound.
