Great video and great comparison!!! Very informative and very interesting in the final results!!! I still personally prefer the Aero port!!! I would assume that when it comes to listening to certain songs or certain kinds of music you could possibly notice a difference between the two types of ports!!! Is that correct to say??? In the time that i been doing Car Audio i have used a sealed box and Band pass box!!! I have never really used a slot ported box!!! I guess the best way to know is to listen to both kinds of ports in person to notice the difference between the two!!! I have just subscribed to your channel!!! I decided to give it a try since this content was very interesting to me!!! 👍👍👍

Here's a tech question for you or a viewer . I have 3 R3's wired @1.3 ohms.. keep seeing mentions of box rise. That being said , do you get let's say a taramps smart 3 bass 1 ohm version or maybe 2 ohm or higher to account for box rise ? Or does the wiring clearly dictate all ?

This is the loudest sub setup I’ve ever felt/heard in my life. A single 15 that felt like an earthquake. Now I’ve never been to audio contests so keep that in mind lol. But I’m sure this is just as impactful and I’ve been eyeing one myself but I’m fine with the current 55lb rs gold v2 weighing down my little bmw for now 😂

I have a question hopefully I get a response. I have a 4 Channel amp and the 4 miss in my soundbar are wired together and I have them bridged on channels 1&2 and I have my tweeters on channels 3&4. My question is what do I set for the bridged speakers on the app?

I lifted my 2004 Armada appx 3”. The front was very straight forward. The rear has caused negative camber issues because the OEM rear control arms are appx 1/2” too short eyelet to eyelet at 19”. Whereas they should be appx 19 1/2 to gain proper camber alignment. How did you resolve the rear lower control arms? Thanks much

Question........I'm fairly new to this audio terminology etc., so what is the most realistic output run that we will come close to listening to audio in our vehicle with an amplfier ? To clarify, you show certified, uncertified and dynamic burst, so which of those is realistic for us listening to music ? I know 13.8v-14.4v is the most realistic voltage while driving being oem alternators usually put out that voltage range. I am 48 so I remember these maroon colored Orion HCCA amps from the '90's and they were 'the' amps during that era. Actually, anything Orion was the way to go back then......amps, subs, speakers.......Orion was the shit. Knowing Orion from then, I bought an Orion XTR 1000.1D a few weeks ago and installed it on my P3D2 12" sub in a sealed enclosure and it is loud. I'm running it @1ohm. I also tried a Sundown 1500w @1ohm and I am positive the Orion XTR1000 is louder. I'm really impressed with the Orion XTR amp.

They're exaggerating a lot. For one thing, in 1995 150 was the world record. Back then the loudest single sub i had was indeed a Kicker 15... but it was a Kicker freeair in a huge ported with 600 watts from an Orion 2150. That hit 134. But would only break 130 from 38-42 hz. 3 JL 12w6 on 1,000 watts hit 141 in the same car. 1992 cavalier, trunk mounted sealed. This wasn't an equal comparison though. We were using much more efficient subs than the one you tried here. Example, i hit 136 or so off 800 watts on 4 JLw1 series 1's. That 200 watts each pushed them to their 8mm excursion limit.

Orion is top tier to me ever since seeing their series of audio gear in the mid 90s back in New Zealand. Im curious to know tho, is Orion manufactured in usa, Korea or Brazil today?
