In the clear lakes here in northern Ontario, small mouth bass will blast up 20 feet for a popper in the middle of the day on the shoals or deep weed beds
My favorite time is about 7pm til around 2am. But starting to get the hang of mid day as well. Doable now that I’ve learned that fishing shirts, similar to the one you talked about, actually work. Never woulda thunk it before, but followed a recommendation from another UA-camr and got one. Daytime I’m partial to jigs and chatter baits.
If im on the bank i love mornings and evening time. If i use the jonboat mid day 10 to 2 is the $... for me. I find better fish in predictable places , just out side current seams or turns in the creek where fish can go shallow to deep easily. And if i luck out and find a junk mat! I love punching em out of the hvy stuff w jigs or trxas rigged plastics. Go Lowbrow 💥 🎣 ✌️.
Lowbrow I’ve gotten some big fish in the dead heat down here in Southeast Georgia fish at noon to 3pm I can pin them down better on blue bird sky’s.. I most definitely look in shaded areas
My favorite time is the middle of the day when they are definitely in more predictable places. Can be a cooker, but it helps to eliminate a lot of water. I do enjoy fishing summer evenings though, sadly I don’t that much anymore. Getting too old and like to be taking it easy by then. Lol.
My son and I used to take the Bass Buggy out to the lake and stay all night. But I haven't done that in probably over two years now. I'm like you, evening time is time to be sitting down.
@@LowBrowFishing I wonder if the big ones understand the risk of getting hooked whenever most people are out fishing so they get more active whenever the weather is rough to tolerate.
I have learned that bass are more predictable during the day when it's scorching for obvious reasons, but for me, I am that guy who gets it done from the bank from dawn to about 10 or 11, then in the evening about 6 or 630 to almost dark. I dont like during the day outside at all. I love winter bass fishing more between the two. Lol. Have a great 4th weekend. Thanks for always teaching us your wisdom and tips, Lowbrow.
Always start out early morning here in Central Texas. However on a recent trip I did notice the bass seemed to start biting after most of the clouds burned off and the sun was high. Definitely could see they were wanting to be in the shade even if it was shallower water. On a side note I never go out on the water without a sunshirt, face shield, long pants and plenty of water. Sometimes as anglers we get so focused on the fishing we forget to take care of our own bodies. That can be dangerous 😮
Usually by 9 am most guys are headed back to the boat ramp. The fish get conditioned to know that most fishing happens early and late so the middle part of the day can get easy bites.
I go out in the afternoon mostly usually because that's the only time I get to go. It's hot but I'm still catching fish. Just need to make sure I have something to drink when I go.
When is your favorite time to go bass fishing in the summer?
Mid morning til after noon

That's awesome!
Outstanding work, thank you for this!

Love that you brought out the jig! Trying to get better at jig fishing. Recognizing the conditions, water to fish, and water clarity.

It's always great when you know exactly where to look for the bass!

It might be hot, but when the fish are biting it makes it bearable!
24/7, whenever I am fortunate enough to go
Being able to go fishing is one of the best parts about going fishing!
@@LowBrowFishing You said it man - keep up the good content.
what's up Stu Dooberstein!
Hi Stu! Nice to meet you!

I like to go whenever they're biting, but I've caught my biggest fish in my worse conditions
I've caught bass in tropical storms, so I can relate!

Thanks so much for watching! Hope you have an awesome 4th!
I used to hate fishing with a worm or a jig but I really like a bitsy bug now. Catches everything.
A jig puts me in my happy place!
Love the tips buddy! I like going in the morning but I catch more fish when I've been there a couple hours or more.
Sometimes it takes a while for the bites to get going!
I fish a lot in the evening in the summer. I'm allergic to intense heat 😅
I completely understand that!
At the crack of dawn until about 10am at the latest. Thanks for more solid information! Hope you have a great 4th!
Hope you have an amazing Independence Day!
Good tips LowBrow 👊 Sure is hot out there in the middle of the day 😎 Lots of water, a good sun shirt, and a dipable hat can help…a lot 👊😎
You have to take care of your skin and stay hydrated!

You have to make sure you take care of yourself out there! Make sure your skin is covered and you have plenty to drink!

Agreed! Bass get conditioned much more quickly than we give them credit for!

Absolutely! Make sure you have plenty of liquids with you out there!
You are braver than me. Give me a cold beer and a sunset and I'm good.
Nothing wrong with that at all!
Sunrise to about 9am. After 9 everything gets too far out for me to get from the bank.
