The song is " Epilogue, " the name of the concert / tour was, Daughters of the Dawn. Another side of the Lady's, they can play whatever they want ! 😏❤️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘
One of their three "E" songs--"Epilogue", "Empty Daydream", "Edge of the World", which along with "Frozen Serenade", show the emotional, soulful side of the band. And all four songs are masterpieces of composition.
Epilogue was Asami's first time to compose a song for Lovebites and it is not surprising that she chose a ballad considering her musical background. Although cowritten with Mao, she seems to have been the driving force for the song. The first time I heard Epilogue, I thought it should have had a minute shaved off. However, the more I have listened to it, the more I like having a long song I can close my eyes and drift away with, especially as the last song on the album.
It's just one of their power ballad songs. "Epilogue" is the title of the song, while "Daughters of the Dawn" is the title of the concert this song was taken from. This song is one of the three "E" ballad songs they have: Epilogue, Edge of the World, and Empty Daydream. Thanks for the reaction, John 🔥🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼🔥
Edge of the world/We the united, end of concert double whammy. Progressive E song followed by the lovebites anthem, hoping you react to cos I think you'll be impressed 🤘 ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html
Haruna - drums (2016-present) Midori - guitars, backing vocals (2016-present) (blonde ponytail) Miyako - guitars, keyboards, backing vocals, main composer (2016-present) (dark hair) Asami - lead vocals, piano; writes a lot of the lyrics (2016-present) Fami-bass (just joined the band in Sept. 2022, master of slap and shred bass) Former member: Miho - bass, backing vocals, founder and bandleader (2016-2021) wrote some of their thrashier songs, eg. Thunder Vengeance
The simple explanation about the long guitar solo: this's the penultimate song of a concert that lasts about two hours, so allows Asami to rest the throat some few minutes and Haruna to relax the muscles of the arms for the final song. Thanks.
In my mind this is probably one of the greatest 80's 90's power ballad's written today. It took me a few listens until I thought to myself it's almost too long. But needless to say, It's doesn't bother me. Give me some well played guitar and I'll listen for hour's. Good thing you got your hair lobbed off in spring and not winter like I did the first time (brrrr) Looks good brother. Hope all is well. 🤘 ✌
I think Daughters Of The Dawn is the name of the concert and Epilogue the name of the song. I agree, I Love the song but is a little long, but, I think they composed like that to have a break on a 2 hour long concert of fast paced Heavy Metal in High Heels, Haruna must run the equivalent of miles and miles and miles hitting those drums and pedals, plus to the ears is easy, so the whole experience of a concert must be well balanced with and “easy listening” and beautiful song, between all the others 1000 miles per hour fantastic songs they compose. That’s my thought.
Just remember, this was 2019, they’re still evolving as far as music, not every song will be a home run, 3 years since their creation, I’m still amazed and actually got hooked on them because of this concert ❤️🤘🐺🤘
to help you Haruna-drummer, Midori blonde hair guitarist, Miyako- black hair guitarist, Miho/Fami- both bass players fami being the new one and Asami is the singer does that help you out
This bro promotes gothic too same as Dave Heretic, very nice. I am gonna order something because they have amazing stuff, have some rings already. But, need more hehe. Daughters of the Dawn is the first concert i got from them like two years ago. Now i have them all of course. Miyako power is something special, limitless. Love them all but Miya is a true genius. She has that Gary Moore sound and its like he continued to live through her style of playing on that Dean of hers. Its really beautiful. Hope to see this channel grow, this bro deserves it. ROCK ON!
Cool. It’s song Epilogue, end of that album. The sections have that same lagging feel, but the melodies changed a bit. An interesting point is that the last melody in the long harmonized outro switches to match the melody from the first song on the album, Addicted. The product naming has a gimmick too btw. A)wakening from Abyss -LP B)attle against Damnation-EP C)lockwork Immortality-this LP D)aughters of the Dawn-this DVD E)lectric Pentagram-LP F)ive of a kind-dvd G)lory to the world-EP H)eavy metal never dies-dvd I)n the Beginning-best of Miho era. J)udgement Day -LP Get it? Cute. There’s actually also a pre EP, a single, and “awake again -live from abyss” (studio/plainclothes live show), but we can just call it the C album, and can trust that K product is coming 🤷♂️😉🤘🎸💃😎
Hi John! I do love this song, but I agree with you that it's probably a little too long. I don't know if this is the case, but I suspect that it's long purposely to give everyone a breather. Their concerts are always about 2 hours long. That's a long time to go at a hundred miles an hour. I'm sure Haruna loves this song, because she can rest a little bit. And all of that "chugging" that Midori and Miyako do is really tough on the wrist and forearms. So, while it's a little long, I'm sure it gives them their second wind and allows them to go on for the full 2 hours.
Epilogue would be a good song to place in the middle of a set but I can only find that have played Epilogue twice in concert. Both times were close to the end of the show. For this concert filmed for the Blu-Ray, it was the first song of a three song encore (not counting the two minute instrumental concert outro composed by Miyako). In the other, performed a week later, it was the 13th song of an 18 song set, with songs 16 thru 18 being the encore. Both times it was followed by Don't Bite The Dust so it is possible that they were resting up so they could explode with Don't Bite The Dust. Another reason would be for Don't Bite The Dust to have extra impact on an audience that had been lulled by a 7 minute ballad.
What amazing song by love bites John incredible voice guitars sound amazing a beautiful song indeed. These ladies know how to put on a good show for sure a bit long but still enjoyable. Take care John 🤘🤘
🎼 Hello amigo, yesterday I was thinking, well it’s been a long time without a Lovebites reaction, and I was going to suggest either one of the music videos (Because now I know you like reacting to videos not just the music) “Shadowmaker” or “When Destinies Align” your pick, BUT I see my question was been answered, you did a Lovebites reaction, so thanks, still I suggest to see those videos I mentioned at some point and share your thoughts. Buen día!!! 🎶🤘 Thanks!!
It seems that it is common amongst Americans to find that certain songs are too long. It may be that your music industry has always marketed 3 minute songs to push out as many commercials as possible on radio. "Long" songs give you a chance to appreciate the quality. Most pop songs are over before the singing starts on metal songs.
Do galloping thoroughbreds need to race full steam ahead all the time?😅 They may be a speed metal band, but they're not on "speed" ( amphetamines)! 😊 A bit of context: These ladies perform 18 songs setlist for over two hours ... in heels!
The speed of this song has nothing to do with anything I said in this vide regarding what I didn't care for. As a matter of fact, I stated numerous times how beautiful I thought this song was. What I wasn't crazy about was the length of the song. So, galloping horses do need to finish the race and in order to win, they actually need to finish the race as quickly as possible. I have personally attended probably 150 two, sometimes three hour metal shows and it is a rare occasion that anyone plays a balad for 8 minutes to rest. There is nothing wrong at all with doing that, and I 100% understand WHY they do it. However, that doesn't mean that anyone, namely me, has to enjoy that as much as other songs from said band within said performance.
Epilogue is the name of the song. Daughters of the Dawn is the title of the Blu-ray/DVD it's pulled from.

The live ending is atypical. The studio version fades on the guitar harmony before Midori’s Steve Vai moment.

Getting used to the wind on my n eck was rough. But, I'm already over it. Be well, Fred.

Sounds just like Scorpions. Daughters of the Dawn is the name of the tour.
Damn metalhead you have cut your hair
I love your reactions
Hair don't make the metalhead, my Brother. The reactions will remain the same.

12:42 Midori is cool when Jimi Hendrix sensation.. she did
John don’t know if you have seen The Warning are coming to Philly at the TLA on May 23.
I saw that. However, my wife and I have sort of an agreement that we no longer go to shows in Philly.

I am with you. I think its the best power balad I heard, BUT, some of the later part is too long and repetative. I have thought the same
It's a great song. It's just too long for my taste without enough going on to keep my attention.
For me is too short 3 times😎
👍
