Having been a Gary Moore fan since 81(I'm 55yo) when I heard Miyako break into the solo..killed me...and then Midori with the icing on the cake taking it up a notch...another knife in me. These two are assassins. Their Swan Song was another that killed me. Had a friend who was a Polish Air Force WWII veteran that was only able to return to visit his sister twice after WWII(Soviet occupation) and since Swan Song opens with Chopin Revolutionary etude(Polish) and the song is about sacrifice for good, then Miyako kills me at the end again on piano. Love to Love by UFO is another great emotional song wrapped up by a truly emotional Michael Schenker solo.

I have never felt so emotionally connected. When you cry over a song but it's not even a sad song, like, there's not one word in the lyrics that reference sadness. You just know it's good shit man. That's why I waited for nearly 2 months to get the CD of this show on my shelf.

Hey Alan, that's how I feel every time I watch this. Have you ever sat in a 1968 Pontiac GTO with 350 hp under the hood, and the driver is just going 25mph, and you can feel all that power in reserve, just waiting to explode? That is this group and this song. They're on another level altogether.
Here’s their dvd segment about their gear. Even with subtitles, you’ll catch a lot. Miyako (classical pianist 27 yrs, guitarist 11 years, let that soak in) uses head for metal, cab for quality, points out the Fishman on Deans, has two overdrives but give special credit to one. Listen closely, they use TONS of English, just have to get used to the accent. AkoGi is a contraction for acoustic guitar... Midori has one for studio, one different for tunings, uses “nonoweb”, and a “minimalist” board, and mentions that her amp profiler could replicate 6505 if she wanted, etc... Subscribed because of this, brilliant stuff. Lovebites is my favourite new band in 20 years, maybe more. I find myself with my mouth hanging open regularly as I watch their Five of a Kind live release. They're amazing, and you really can't go wrong with any of the songs from it. Enjoy!

This live version is much better than previous year. I guess the band got better people to keep their instruments tuned up. The band released another live DVD called "Five of a Kind" and sounds awesome. You should check out the live videos on youtube. They will say Live in Zepp Divercity 2020.
I know there is not that many videos with Asami before she joined Lovebites. Before she joined the group she has a RnB and Soul background and her vocals suited rock/metal and that's why she got chosen to do Lovebites. In general she is fluent in English. On their Five of a Kind live concert DVD/BluRay, during an interlude in the concert, Miyako sits down at a baby grand and plays Chopin's Etude Opus 10 No. 12, "The Revolutionary". Just a perfectly straight up classical piano piece. Asami was an R&B/Soul backup singer, this is her 1st lead singer role and 1st metal band. She likes to do Mariah Carey karaoke.

I had a similar experience with Dancing with the devil ...my God i was reliving the good old days of Dio Whitesnake and Deep Purple i had goose bumps and shaking I was like a kid in a candy store and yes i had wet eyes but i didn't cry ...ok maybe one tear but it was because i had sweat on my face from the excitement.....

I love hard music, I love the trash metal songs from Lovebites. But after I heard this song for the first time I knew which masters I had in front of me.
No worries guys, I have that feeling every time I hear that song. It is the best ballad in last 20 years since the likes of G'n'R, Scorpions, Gary Moore (so much influence on Miyako). Most of the arrangements and songwriting are done by Miyako and lyrics by Asami (singer) and Miho (Bass). This particular one lyrics were done by Asami, songwriting by Mao (backup keyboards and programming person for them) and arrangement by Lovebites, mostly Miyako and Mao. It is track 10 from their second album Clockwork Immortality. To add, Miyako is not only one of the best guitarist she is also excellent classical pianist, bassist and singer. If you want to see true musicianship and something you rarely if ever see by dual guitarist with in sync over hand tapping then watch "Signs of Deliverance" Live. If you can find the latest live version then you can see them together. It's epic.
I haven't heard her play bass or sing on her own, but I know Miho also drums. It would be a good experiment to get them to switch roles and see what they can do.

@@dicodec i listen to it multiple times a day the vocalist moves like a princess it sounds a bit like "Man on the silver Mountain" its slow very heavy guitar sound that drives me crazy with that sultry voice...Man they can do pretty much any sound from any metal genre like pros its just unbelievable

No worries guys, I have that feeling every time I hear that song. It is the best ballad in last 20 years since the likes of G'n'R, Scorpions, Gary Moore (so much influence on Miyako).
Most of the arrangements and songwriting are done by Miyako and lyrics by Asami (singer) and Miho (Bass). This particular one lyrics were done by Asami, songwriting by Mao (backup keyboards and programming person for them) and arrangement by Lovebites, mostly Miyako and Mao. It is track 10 from their second album Clockwork Immortality.
To add, Miyako is not only one of the best guitarist she is also excellent classical pianist, bassist and singer.
If you want to see true musicianship and something you rarely if ever see by dual guitarist with in sync over hand tapping then watch "Signs of Deliverance" Live. If you can find the latest live version then you can see them together. It's epic.
I haven't heard her play bass or sing on her own, but I know Miho also drums. It would be a good experiment to get them to switch roles and see what they can do.
@@ChrisPage68 She posted on Instagram new bass she got and did a small clip of her playing it. Singing, you can hear her backing vocals in several songs and I've heard her sing somewhere.
That was my thought too, Miho and Miyako should switch up, that would be cool.
