NEMOPHILA is so incredible! They are currently in the middle of their US tour. I saw them at their first US show here in LA last year and then saw them in LA again for this US tour about a week ago. They are even better live! They put on a hell of a show! Mayu ( the vocalist) is absolutely incredible! She can scream better than anyone and she also has an amazing singing voice to go along with it. I actually really like how Mayu switches to the clean vocals, it provides a good balance to the super heavy metal feel. (Then again I personally am more of a fan of hard rock than metal) The lyrics for this song are also very nice. Great video!
Very cool Nemophila song John very solid heavy and very cool the chorus I agree with you on that. The guitarist is definitely crazy good. Take care John 🤘
These ladies are a geniuses. Song writing, musical creativity, instrument playing or vocals, it seems they have no limits, and they can push the cursor as far as they want. With Hanabie, they just are on another planet for me. Just for your information and regarding one of your comment, Lisa-X-Band does not longer exist. Lisa just started a new band named KOIAI still with Hazuki (the guitarist of Nemophila with blue guitar on this MV), and two new members: the insane Kanade Sato on drums (Jazz rock drummer), and Kotono on vocals.
Kanade Sato is not a part of KOIAI, but they used her as a session member for the tour they did which apparently wasn't planned and was provided to them by Guthrie Govan from what I have heard/read, which is crazy. I don't know if she also recorded the drumtracks for the upcoming EP. KOIAI constists of Li-Sa-X (Guitar), Hazuki (Guitar) and Kotono (Vocals). Li-Sa-X had already worked together with Kotono in the past. You can check their twtr account for links to these 3. I have a feeling the namechange has more to do with Li-Sa-X splitting with her old label (Sony I believe) than anything else.
Yes John, Hazuki is also with LISA-X Band. I liked your observation that all-female J-metal bands have more "poppy" choruses. Personally, I don't mind it, and have dubbed it "daily affirmation metal". I really do love this band and you're right, it doesn't do any good trying to compare them to each other. It's just a matter of personal taste. I have never really been a fan of sympnonic or operatic metal like Lovebites or Nightwish, but I have deep respect for them and appreciate their music even if its not my thing. I'm glad you are able to do the same and express it the way you do.
I think you have nothing better to do with yourself, so you are trying to tear other people down. I feel sorry for you, you poor thing. Mr. Fake name, no picture, no content, keyboard warrior.
if you want to react to more covers by Nemophila you should do their covers of Linkin Park Given Up, Babymetal Megitsune, AC DC Whole Lotta Rosie, Maximum the Harmone Shimi, Maximum the Harmone Zetsubo Billy, Skid Row Youth Gone Wild, Foo Fighters Walk and Journey Seperate Ways please let me know what you think
I can personally do without these types of chorusses as well, but I have honestly gotten more used to them over time. They are generally still my least favourite parts of a lot of the Japanese rock and metal songs for sure. I do like the song in general though and I really like the main riff, even with the electronica influences which can be hit-or-miss for me, and the solo section.

It's Hazuki from Lisa X. I think they knocked it out the park with this one.
Wow que tremenda canción y banda Nemophila 🔥 pronto veremos el verdadero nivel de está linda banda!
😎🤘
Yes the women, Hazuki, with the blue guitar supports Li-SA-X. Hazuki is around 27 and Li-SA-X 18.

You've been with me for a while. You know how I roll by now. I say it like I see it. But, it's all 100% opinion. There's no right or wrong.
Neh-mo-feel-a Mr Brainfart

You clearly feel the same way that I do.
Wait to see you react to Trident and their song cry out
Someone will need to request it.
