- This is a closer look at the Hero Pulserifle build from Matsucorp. I has a ton of functionality with the exception of live fire. Sure to impress if you are a moive prop collector. Weighing in at just under 11 pounds or 4.5 Kg it feels as real as expected. lots of metal parts and digital ammo counter.

Only Bill Paxton could use this iconic weapon in the way James Cameron envisioned it! Thanks for the upload I really enjoyed it
Love both your rifles man! Thanks for showing them to us!
Thank you very much kind sir.
I'm in love ! Always wanted one since I was a kid ! Just beautiful ! Thanks for sharing with us !
No problem, it was one of my bucket list items for a while.
NERF sells an amazing plastic version of it, for a reasonable price. It just needs a repaint and it looks pretty close to the real thing. It even has a working ammo counter.
That's absolutely beautiful work.

*Droooool* amazing build, love the detail and craftsmanship
Thanks. These are becoming rare so I'm happy to have 2 examples
I'd just like to caution anyone considering purchasing a rifle from Matt. I placed an order with him in June of 2021. Since my initial down payment of $600, I'sent him an additional $700 or so in parts. He initially promised that the rifle would be completed within six months, however, that date has long since come and passed and I have nothing at all to show for it. He would continually provide excuses as to why the rifle wasn't completed and often take several weeks to respond to my emails. Finally after well over a year of waiting, I demanded a refund and now he has completely ghosted me. Unfortunately, my paypal protection has long since expired, and it appears that he has simply stolen $1200+ from me. Once again, DO NOT trust Matt with your money unless you wish to have pilfered. Years ago there was a time when he was a reliable and trusted member of the Aliens community, but unfortunately that is no longer the case.
I was considering ordering one for my Sci-fi collection, so thank you for the warning.. I won't be ordering it now 😳
@@marklynch3149 I'm happy to spare you the ordeal. I hope that one day Matt may get his life in order and once again become a trusted prop maker, but unfortunately he's far too risky a gamble at the moment.
@@silversigh4779 thank you.. I really hope you get your money back 👍
@@marklynch3149 Thanks for the kind words. I hope for the same.
Niicee.. I play Aliens: fireteam and I can honestly say, it's still my go to rifle, ever since I first heard it in the second film. Great job
Thank you much. This is all matsucorp. I'm just his customer
@@alienarmament 👍✌️
Love the SW version of this.
I have an airsoft M41A pulse rifle. It’s realistically heavy & 1:1 replica. It’s a great prop & fun to shoot. It’s also representative of how people foresaw futuristic firearms in the 1990s. Today we have more sophisticated and lighter real assault rifles with red dot & even infrared scopes not seen on the fictional pulse rifle.
I hear good things about the airpsoft version of the pulse. Imagine what weapons will really be like in 2179 the year Aliens was supposed to be.
Really great look at this iconic prop. However PLEASE tone the music down it’s really hard to hear you if you have hearing difficulties.
Omg it's the iconic pulse rifle which is also the basic marine weapon in the Aliens vs Predator games...
Yes sir!!
I bought mine a few months ago, just waiting for Matt to finish it!!!!😁😁😁😁
Good luck I ordered mine over a year ago and he pretty much constantly ghosts me.
@@davidbaisley wait you serious?
@@jeffreydorling7293 100%, always email filter got the mail, sorry didn't see it, working on it, got him on instagram recently and said he's finish it up in a couple weeks. I asked for pictures of progress. Nothing. also found a thread of him taking forever and the same behavior on the RPF forums. Luckily I only did partial payment upfront.
@@davidbaisley I got totally screwed by him.
@@davidbaisley just curious what the forums say as I cannot access them. Have people been screwed or does he just take forever?
Very nice love it! Would you like to review other people's pulse rifle builds? I used Matt's parts too and he does great work
Nice!! I'm up for a collaboration anytime 😊

@@alienarmament oh I'm a doof 🤣
M41 from Thompson m1 a1 caliber 45 acp and franchi spa 12 shotgun
Correct...
I'd prefer the live fire one that guy built in Arizona, with 9mm Suomi coffin mags, and an actual cut-down 870.
I think we all would prefer the live fire version. Not many of us have $10k $20k laying around to build one.
@@alienarmament I mean, I could probably connect the dots on designing and building the thing. The NFA stuff (and that would be a two stamp gun) is the high bar to get over.
I also don't have a manufacturing license and I'd prefer not to go to prison.
The real live fire pulse rifles were Tommy guns (.45, not 9mm.) with a SPAS12 as the grenade launcher.
Also the distinctive noise they made was created by reversing the noise of the gun firing.
@@GazB85 You're right that it was a Thompson, and .45, not 9mm, but the "grenade launcher" was an 870. They took the heat shield and forend from a SPAS-12, and an M-60 bipod, and cludged it together to look cool. If you look closely, the SPAS-12 forend is actually backward.
Wouldn't we all prefer the real thing?? Lol. Sadly, some states and countries don't alow for such things.
what does it weigh will you show the magazine and the caseless rounds soon thanks
11lbs or 3.5 kg the mag has faux 10mill
The dude in the UK gave me your info. I’m in NC. How can I get one??
@@adphipps77 hi, Matsucorp is no longer producing pulserifles at this time.... however... I will be cloning these with Matsucorps permission.. I expect to have 4 completed by 2025. I'm not taking commissions at the moment.. what I build will be 1st come, first serve..
It looks a bit smaller than in the films, was it made for Newt?
It's 1:1 same exact size as the one in the move.
@@alienarmament Ok, your the expert, it could be the lighting.
@@michaelgrzybkowski I think it has to do with the camera in .05
I can't WAIT to get my weathered brown bess from him!
How long have you been waiting? I ordered mine a year ago and pretty much he ghosts me now when I try to contact him.
@@davidbaisley same boat brother. He hasn't answered me for a while. Don't know what to say.
BEAUTIFUL 😍
I don't even need to know the price the to know I can't afford it. 😭 It's a shame because that is honestly beautifully made. I tried so hard to get the airsoft replicas that were around years ago but could never manage to get one.
They are very expensive. The airsoft I out now.
Great rifle I reached out to Matt to get a similar model. Question where did you get the strap? I like the color of the strap as it looks closer to the brown Bess color than a green strap would.
Thank you Bret, Strap is from Hollywood Collectibles Group.

@@silversigh4779 hi I'm in the same predicament I sent him $600 and a dozen emails with no replies I guess I need to contact PayPal and see if anything can be done?
@@bretlai8746 Yes, I'd recommend filing a dispute through paypal. It's a simple process that can be easily done once you've logged onto to your account. However, if you're still in your six month protection window you may want to delay for at least a time as Mike (the owner of this channel) says he intends to work with Matt to get outstanding orders out the door. Frankly, I think this is unfortunately a long shot, however, I suppose there's a chance he may succeed in kicking Matt into gear. Regardless, if you haven't received your rifle, just be certain to file a dispute before the six month protection window expires.
@@silversigh4779 so I filed a complaint and Matt actually replied once he got the PayPal email. Said my emails were going to spam folder? Sent me pics of the rifle in process of being built and promised by Christmas? I'm leaving the case open. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
Just out of curiosity - what sort of price is one of these lovely Pulse Rifles?
This one was $1500. I added some additional parts which drove the cost up. Matt charges anywhere from 600-1200 for his builds.
How much was that? Because that looks awesome.
The replica cost me 1500
@@alienarmament Do you think they will ever make a Smart Gun replica?
@@megaben99 they do!! Jump on INSTAGRAM, look for matsucorp_props. Enjoy.
Hi megaben99. Just in case you're considering a purchase, I would very strongly caution against doing any business with Matt. I ordered a pulse rifle from him years ago, and he failed to deliver, stealing over $1000 from me. Unfortunately, as I discovered, he's also stolen from many other customers. You can order from him if you'd like, but be aware you're doing so at your own peril.
@@silversigh4779 then I will have to avoid him at all cost
That's amazing I love the stand
Thanks 😊 it's off ebay. Was expensive.
@@alienarmament can you remember the seller?
Nice reproduction! How much does one of those cost now?
They run $1500 or so. Be warned, it takes a long time for Matsucorp to built one. The company is behind on orders due to the pandemic and economic conditions
@@alienarmament Thank you sir!
How much ballpark and how do I order lol?
$1500. Order through Matt at Matsucorp. However, I'm obligated to advise everyone that the wait times can be a year. Supplies are difficult to get with the current economy.
@@alienarmament thank you! Appreciate the reply and info brother -
@@MajorTom9108 Just word of caution, if you're considering purchasing form Matt I'd strongly advise against it. There are people who placed orders with him over seven years ago that are still waiting for their rifles. I've paid him to the tune of $1200 a year and a half ago, and at this point I'd be shocked if I receive either a rifle or refund.
why they don't make a real one already?
People do but it's super expensive.
Its a thomson
Hi do you know if Matt is still working on orders?
@@bretlai8746 He was last time I spoke to him.

Don't you mean Wayland-Yutani?
Certainly, wayland yutani is the producer of the M41a but this is a replica made by MATSUCORP.
