I like my Liliput, but can agree it is an extra step to thread on the cap to post it. I have the Kaweco Student in clear demonstrator for everyday. I holds 2 small international cartridges in the barrel, so I have a spare with me.
I’ve been carrying the Kaweco Sport as my daily pen lately. I’ll definitely check out the Student. Having a spare cartridge sounds great. Thanks for sharing and for watching my video. I appreciate it!
I think fountain pens are all about the formality of writing. Therefore it's not about convenience, practicality, or simplicity. So having to unscrew and screw is all part of the fountain pen experience. :-)
I agree about the formality of writing thing. It does make me pay more attention to how I write. My cursive is pretty freaking bad unless I slow myself down and pay attention. My goal for next year is to improve my writing ✍️. Spelling? That’s another problem. Thanks for watching!
Depending on your budget theres many options thatre better: the kaweco sport arounf $25, there Travelers Co Brass Pen for about $60 or so, pilot e95s for a gold nib, gravitas pocket pen for $100......none of these mentioned have screw to post btw. As a fountain pen hobbyist 8 years in i could suggest a couple more depending on your needs (weight, price, durability, nib selection, etc.). May the triune God bless you!
Def check out the Sport, the plastic, the metal ones.... they are all solid and work great, but for my daily carry notebook I still use my lilliput :) @@SigogglinJack

@@davonsmith7108 Thanks 🙏. I’ve got a Sport on the way. I just didn’t really gel with the Liliput. Great backup though.
Not a fountain pen, but Rite in the Rain has a new bolt action pocket pen that is very reasonably priced and I have been enjoying it.
I’ve seen it on Amazon. Looks great. Thanks for watching.
