Hi Cathy! I always look forward to your videos. You have such an easygoing, friendly, pleasant personality, and you give such great insight. Thank you again!
I’ve looked at this pen so many times. I never pull the trigger because I’m afraid I’d lose it. I’m considering the Kaweco Supra for it’s length versatility and it’s #6 nib.
The Liliput is super tiny, so losing it is a legitimate concern. The Supra sounds like the perfect alternative. It's so versatile, and it's available in brass. 😀
I like to carry around a normal sized and a small sized Traveler’s Notebook and I just ordered this pen to have a set on the go, thank you for the review!
I took both of my Liliputs to the St Louis Pen Show and I decided that whichever one sold first, I'd keep the other. Well, of course the brass pen sold first, even though I priced the black one super cheap and I regret that decision sometimes. 🙃
I have the Liliput in Green, but I agree that the aluminium is too lightweight. I had to decide between the Green and the Copper, and I chose the Green because it was less expensive, even though I preferred the Copper. i won't make the same mistake again!
I did the same thing. I originally chose the black aluminum Liliput because it was the least expensive option. I wish the black and green pens were made from stainless steel because they're both nice looking pens.
1. Interesting, thanks. Always nice to hear from you. 2. The Liliput is just too tiny for me. But I am tempted by the very similar but larger Kaweco Supra.
It's good to hear from you too, Ichiro! I'm sure the Liliput would be too small for a lot of people. The Supra sounds like a great alternative. It's got all the characteristics that I like about the Liliput, plus it's so versatile. 😀
I think this pen is too thin to be comfortable for me but I do like using my AL-Sport. Even more than that pen, I really enjoy my Schon DSGN pocket pen. Have you considered trying that maker’s pens?
I like the look of the Schon DSGN full size pen, but I'd really like to hold one of each to see if I prefer it over the Pocket Six. Maybe I'll get to go to the St Louis pen show this summer. 😀
Kaweco Palm Green and Summer Purple have a water resistant component - If you dip a writing sample in water, the color will lift away leaving a very legible layer of charcoal grey. The Kaweco brown and orange inks don't have the water resistant component, and I'm not sure about any of the other colors.
did you find Palm Green quite wet?: have small writing so need ink not to spread out - love the colour of this but switched to Diamine 1864 tropical green which stays put!:)
Have you tried Palm Green and had trouble with it spreading? I just did a dip test with my Pilot Kaküno and Palm Green on Rhodia paper and it did really well. Nice crisp lines, and the nib felt smooth on the page. I've had this sample for a while, though, so it might be more concentrated than normal. 🤔
@@gadgetstop321 have been lucky with inks from Lamy, Graf von Faber Castell, Pelikan and Rohrer&Klingner but because Palm Green was so wet have been reluctant to try any other inks from Kaweco
@@anguswhite8233 I have samples of Kaweco Summer Purple and Sunrise Orange ( I think those are the names) that I'm getting ready to test. They are newer samples, so we'll see how they compare.
Is its diametre thinner than the Lamy CP1? I m looking for a super slim fountain pen to fit in my leather portfolio and unfortunately I dont have a chance to see them side by side. 🤔

As heavy as it is, it might not be as easy to lose as you think

Thanks for the video! I just ordered one to carry with my Plotter Mini 5.
You're welcome! That sounds like it will make a great pen and paper combo. 😀

So Cute 👌👌😍🧡
It's my favorite pocket pen. 😀

Makes sense! 👍🏼
Did you say Kaweco inks are water-resistant? I just bought my first Kaweco pens - a Sport and a Lilliput. I should receive them in a day or two.

Thanks for clarifying and for this video.

Hi gadgetstop321, thanks for posting
As far as the pocket clip goes, where does one find them? Is it pretty secure?
It's decently secure considering it's just friction holding it on.
How do you ink up the Lilliput?
The Liliput only takes cartridges, but if you want to use an ink that only comes in a bottle, you can use an ink syringe to fill an empty cartridge.
Pens are only as good as their nib. The pocket carry is great, but a cheap pen can do that.
