"I think it's really cool that you're honest and outspoken about what you believe? How are you so able to break the mold and speak your mind? Also, why do you think so many artists these days are scared to express their honest opinions?"
Joel can speak because he is only independent producer, he has his own label, his own managment and so many fans that he is "stronger" than any other producer out there..
Medovaca. It's not about the "strength" he said he don't care about the consecuent fame... and it's cool because when you don't care you are more clear
+Alf thanks to him i came to the conclusion that having too much of an ego can and will eventually ruin you, all you have to do is look at kanye west, granted he's always had a bit of an ego but it never used to really effect his music, now his ego seems to be ruining him

I just love how he's an independent and humble man
He will be remembered as a legend where as others will fade into nothingness
I wish more artists would do the same. We need more realness in the music scene. The pocketbook is controlling the music a little too much

We need it more in the _"EDM"_ scene. It's so commercial and lifeless. Most artists have zero personality and never speak up. It's all PR bullshit and fake smiles while the music degrades.
I think that’s why Daft Punk retired, the music industry is changing so fast and now it’s just artists that want fame and money, nobody wants to take things to the next level and do something mind blowing, we don’t have any idols in our generation
