Ok but, whats the trick too getting that 12mm on the bottom, that goes through that tensioner block, threaded into the bottom bracket of alternator. Ive been fighting this for 2hrs. I cannot forbthe life of me get that in
Nm, still a pain but...theres a bracket that that bottom hole in the alternator slides in, a groove if you will, that the tension block bolt goes through, then unto alternator
@landonbillaber6930 same engine? If so, there's actually a U shape bracket that the tensioner bolt has to go through. The alternator bracket hole is on the other side, (engine side). Once I realized that, ya hafta go in blind but get your tensioner bolt through the little tensioner block and slowly slide/rock it up and down that groove until you hit the alternator bracket. Or lift the alternator up an inch or two, then repeat rocking/sliding that bolt in the groove. Thinking about it, you could push a piece of copper wire through the alternator bracket hole, from the engine side, and it woukd pop out through that groove on other side. Then you will know where the hole is. I wish I would've thought of that actually, would've saved some blood sweat and tears
