Awe! Thanks so much:)
Hi Dani can you pls do a 101 on water chestnuts? I can't seem to find good vids or info out there.
@@CleanandDeliciousDani hi,
I am a little confused about the wine rice vinegar. I went to the store and can only found Rice vinegar and white wine vinegar but nothing that shows rice wine vinegar. Can you please share an image or a link to buy the vinegar.
WOW!! -- Now THAT'S a compliment 👍👍😎✌️❣️
@@sharose7969 Dang, great suggestion!
I just wanted to let you know that you inspired me. I had never tried bok choy ( that I know of) so after watching your video I went and bought some. I made a soup with it. I put fresh garlic, onion, sea salt, black pepper, celery, fresh tomatoes, the bok choy, And some pinto beans, I used my bone broth I keep in the freezer. It was really really great! I took some to my mom and she LOVED it... thanks for the inspiration!!!!!
I used google lens to know the name of what I bought from the store and your video popped up to see how to clean, store and make simple recipe. You're such a blessing ❤
I love bok choy! When making ramen, or any souped noodle dish, throwing in about one or two whole bok choy leaves towards the end of the cooking cycle makes the whole dish twice as more delightful!
That sounds great.
Would you mind sharing a recipe you like 🥰💚
@@LittleRum I will!! I lived with Mexicans and Filipinos in California... Interested?
It's easy and a comfort food in my book; great go-to recipe for spur of the moment company 😁👍👍
Great idea!
I recently started using bok choy and love how versatile this vegetable is. Very affordable, can be used for multiple meals and digests very well❤️

Thank you so much for this video! Bok Choy is a great way to introduce kids to "different vegetables"...it looks kinda funny, has a mild flavor, and works with many different diets...I love bok choy and kale, equally...oh, and escarole/spinach/etc.....
Thank you very much. You're the only one who answered to my question: does it taste like Swiss Chard. Have a good day Dani 😊
I really appreciate this information about bok choy, especially how to store it.
Thank you for breaking down this vegetable. Saw it for the first time at Walmart and was intrigued by it. It looks like a combination of romaine lettuce and celery. Looking forward to seeing what it tastes like soon.
Thanks so much, my wife is having some kidney issues, and I read that bok choy is great for kidneys
I love visiting a local Chinese market for greens. They routinely have a huge variety including bok choy, Shanghai choy, mustard greens, amaranth, and chrysanthemum.
Awesome selection.
Scott DeGasperis Did u see lobok? 哈哈~
I thought crysanthemum was poisonous? It's used in bug spray...

I love these videos!!
I grow my baby Bok Choy. I snip the stalk, leaves for salads, soups as needed. It is a delicious versatile veggie. Thx for the cooking tips!
I just recently started eating bok choy and really like it. I cooked mine for 2 minutes in the microwave and it was perfect. I then added some mushrooms and made a very satisfying dish.
I have really been enjoying book choy as of late. I purchased some gluten free ramen noodles and make a delicious soup with b.c., onions, ginger, garlic and chicken broth. Then add in the noodles and chopped cooked chicken. I add some salt and pepper to taste, and also some cayenne for a little heat. This soup will last me for several days- sooo yummy
I love Bok Choy and got so excited when I saw it in our Veg Store because I live on an island where certain veg is limited or even non existent, so I'm a really happy bunny right now.x
Thank you for this! I just bought some really small baby bok choy at the Asian market and looking forward to some ideas!!! 👍🏻

Thank you so much for making an easy video to explain the basics I've worked a culinary career but my wife that just passed away was Korean and was the only person that really dealt with bok choy in this household. I'm on a extreme vegan diet right now and I've heard it is one of the best greens there is nutritionally. I'm not doing anything really special with it I just want it for nutrition purposes at this point just so I can live a long life for my children.
My favorite green veggie. It's my personal preferences that I use to serve with my dish and soups.
Thank you! I have just recently discovered this wonderful vegetable.
Wow so informative ⭐ I love your spirit !!!
YaY! So glad to see this video! I just planted dwarf boy choy in my garden. I've never grown it before and needed ideas for cooking/eating. Thank you.
I just got some bok choy. Thank you for showing me all about it. I have a friend that told me she grows her own bok choy just like she does celery. I am going to try growing my own.

awesome!! More recipes coming thursday.
we call it patchoi in Trinidad. Love it. Its not the frost that makes it sweet and crispy though, its the amount of water it gets and the type of soil. If growing salts (minerals) are used when the plant is young the result will be better.
Thank you. This was very informative. Can't wait to try Bok Choy.
Nice for the garden
Very useful, thanks!
Hi Dani... thank you for sharing. Just a quick question: is bok Choy different from Petchay??? or are they similar? thanks...
I grew up with Bok Choy and I love it! Never tried it raw though; I am intrigued and can't wait to try it one day :)
Try it! Its so good.
I love bok choy!!
Thank you so much - everything I wanted to know
I've lightly steamed it and used in cold boiled shrimp spring rolls with carrots and celephane noodles in a rice paper wrapper.
yum!
Love it! A staple in the Jamaican diet and affordable.
I'm a Jamaican too and I love bok choy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting. The Chinese brang bok choy to Jamaica?
Loooooove this dressing !! ❤️
I added fresh cilantro and all I have to say is wow!
Oh god, this looks so good and simple. Thank you for the great video!
i think easier to prep than cabbage, and comes in a few sizes! thanks the simple tip to cook the base portion first and the leafy parts closer to the end
Thanks for making this video
I never had book Choy before. I will buy it tmrw 😁
Great vid
Nice recipe thanks
My first time trying today got from my own garden.
Thank you for the video. I have been cooking with bok Choi for a while but I didn’t know that you could eat it raw and put it into a salad.
Those hand gestures as she tastes the bok choy salad say it all. (3:58)
Delicious!
