at 0:58 the diameter is not 2cm its 3cm s both sides go from 26.5 to 29.5, the answer is still correct though at 28cm. Great video though really helping me out with my studies :D
The best thing about this is u can technically refer to a bunch of past papers in a small time, especially when ur exam is tommorrow. So thanks for making these
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH MISS! That is really helpful🎉 btw, may I ask if the line should be drawn from the starting to the end of the table? Or is it only drawn near the last data point? And can I simply write 'Yes' or 'No' in the 'statement' section of the experiment accuracy question( do I need to write within/beyond the limit of experimental after ‘yes/no’) ? [Paper 5]Thanks a lottt!🌹😊
the explanation for solving question 1 part (a) is wrong yeah? because the red line markings on figure 1.2 are not 27 and 29 its 26.5 and 29.5 so the diameter is 3cm and so the center is 1.5 so u add 1.5 to 26.5 to get 28cm...please correct me if im mistaken
hey thank you for posting these useful videos, but i have a question. at the question in 10:13 can i say yes they are equal because they are within the limits of experimental accuracy?
for question 4, should i do like what you did (just list down the methods) or write a long procedure like "pour 200cm^3 of hot water into the beaker and immediately start a stopwatch. wait for 10 minutes, measure .....)
Glad they repeated a lot from 2023 and not from any past, old years. Will this be case in the 2024 may June in your opinion? What’s the best range of solving?
They're actually all 3 s.f. They all contain three numbers, the 0 between two numbers is valuable so can be counted as a significant number. For example, It'd be two s.f. if the 0 was placed like this 24.0 but three s.f. if the 0 was placed in between like 3.05
Does the repeat 4 other thickness and find average mentioned in the 2nd bullet point in the experiment, grant you an additional point (the ones all the way down in the mark scheme) ?
@@learntodayIGCSE Yes please start to do the videos as I am doing IGCSE exam for this year May/June and I am going to AS & A level so I want your videos for AS & A level past papers. And you will continue to get your most of the old viewers for 2 more years. If you started making AS & A level past papers then please start from the latest years and slowly go back. I like your videos they are very helpful and so keep it up, and one more thing is you are updated to our comments. THANK YOU!! If you can do it for AS level papers more.

You can always just do what i did, Here for example what i did in this case, the diameter is the centre line of the "circular load" so what i did was i got the got the far right number and added the far left number on the ruler aka 29.5 and 26.5 and then add them together divided their number so in the end it will look like this; 29.5+26.5/2 you should get 28

No one can predict that
I'd advice to solve from 2020 to 2024, not a lot of u don't have clash exams

Yes must mentione repeat your manipulatedvariable
In the first question isn't it 26.5 and 29.5 by the reading of the scale @learntodayIGCSE
Yes, I thought the same, but looking at the mark scheme, it says 27 and 29, I was so confused too.
I got the same values, but i don't think it makes a difference because the average of both the values is still 28 and its just a single mark question

It’s probably too late but in the question they are specifically asking “..from the zero end of the ruler” So from 0 cm to the middle of the load.
