"Something like this can save you thousands of dollars because if this thing jams up, you'll get a lean code"...............and the mechanic will tell you the transmission needs to be replaced. Lmao 🤣
Yup
Good job sharing
I Just Cleaned Mines, I Soaked It Solvent Over Night, Good As New.. ! 🤙🏼😎🤙🏼
Nice cool!!
Thanks man
U welcome!
I have an '09 Camry Hybrid. Is the PCV valve on my car located in the same position as the vehicle in your demo?
No 2009 has it in very very complicated location under the intake manifold
Hi! How to replace the PCV valve of a 2018 Camry Hybrid LE Without taking off the whole engine? Thanks.
Not possible
Under intake manifold, not engine. Not that hard of a job on the 2.5
Is it easy to change PCV valve on VENZA 2012, 4 cylinders? Unfortunately VENZA PCV valve located not on top of the engine… ℹ️
Nope complicated job no one has paid me to do it they refuse to pay labor thats why I don’t have video on it
Can I use this exact pcv valve part number for a Toyota Camry Le 2004 2.4L 4 cylinder?
Check with part in sure it’s same tho
I got my Toyota camry its been burning a lot oil
U think if I change the pcv valve will stop burning oil ?
There’s no guarantee but it is somthing that I would attempt first then keep an eye on the oil
Hello i am new to your channel, Do you know the pvc valve part number for 2009 toyota camry LE 2.4 4cylinder?
Sorry I don’t have catalog of part numbers but the pepboys or autozone can help u with that how ever the pcv valve on these Camrys are not so easy to do
Hi, I'm new to your channel, I need your help, can you tell me where the pcv valve of a 2009 Toyota Corola S is located? I've seen several videos but they don't give me the location of the valve, can you help me? Thanks.
It’s under the intakeabout 1 hour job if ur experienced u have to take out the intake
I have a Rav4 2001 with 1AZ eng.
Their is no leakage no smoke acceleration is okay but it engine oil is burning & smells bad. I spoke to different mechanics, got multiple opinion finally i took off the PCV valve it has no air leakage although milage is over 50k+ here i would i would like to know in this their any other part or compnent can be responsible for oil burning?
I would replace the valve first and then keep an eye on the oil level other wise it’s valve seal or piston rings u can try diffrent oil gtx castrol oil helps fix this issue also but not 100%
@@RBTheMechanic I just switched to Motul 10 40.
I have ordered a valve which will be delivered by next week.
May I have your email so I can coordinate further?
I can’t get my valve off. It looks like it’s literally part of the valve cover because it’s so old. Possibly the original. What tricks to get it off?
Maybe use some heat
mate if i open the oil cap should i see air coming out or should i be sucking air in?
There shouldn’t be anything coming out from oil cap with engine off
@@RBTheMechanic no, I mean all this with engine working mate
@@DimoS... u can’t do this with engine running have to shut it off. With this valve open and cap it will leak vaccum have lean codes or engine might stall out. Not the correct way to do this always turn engine off when working on it for repairs. Good question tho!!
Did this and now the lights come on, but it doesn't start. Any suggestions?
Double check ur work and pull out the valve and replace it with old one see if it works normal could be defective pcv
@@RBTheMechanic By complete chance, the 8yo battery decided that right after I changed the PCV was the perfect time to fail. Issue was completely unrelated.
@@rabbit859 8 years is long life for battery!!
How do you change the hose?
Follow the pipe it got clamp on the other end should be simple
@@RBTheMechanic thank you
Your friend can't use a ratchet for his life.
Will this fix a P0171 code?
Prolly not
The PCV valve is very cheap to buy at a NAPA that is an exact fit for your car (I have a 2000 Corolla) and can be changed easily each couple of years and can be costly repairs if NOT replaced... Spraying it 'clean so it rattles' is NOT foolproof. Just get a new one!
Yup
will this stop oil consumption ?
It’s not 100% but it’s worth the try and it’s should be changed every 30k miles regardless
Camry, what year... 2000-2024...mmm. what year is this camry
2004
No information on the year of vehicle...
2003 Camry
2003 Camry
2003 2002 same yes this is related to those years
@@RBTheMechanic my camry is 2010 and the location of the pvc valve is behind intake manifold.
Yo, clamp it.
Next time.
My 99 is much easier. Lol
Yeah in the top
Try a 2016 .....
