CBR954 motor work

This is not a how to build a motor video, it is an over view of how it is done. I don’t mention a lot of things I do automatically I’m just Putting my motor back together and recorded it for reference.

Could you please help me? I’m doing the gear box but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get 2nd gear or counter shaft off main shaft, as well as can I use a 929 replacement for the first countershaft on main sprocket shaft?

I show the entire disassembly here. There are a few C clip you have to remove to get the gears off the shaft. I would not put a used sprocket back in and I’m not sure if the 929 gears are the same..

don't you put the piston in last or plastic-gage the torqued case first idk just seemed odd but I just ride a CBR I've never had bearing
issues

No the pistons can be installed first. In this case I did not remove the head (pistons come out the top) I just separated the lower case to replace bearings and repair tranny

I got my gears and bearings grime bikebandit. Com can’t remember the price off hand but 50-75$ I think

This is a 2002 but it is the same for a 2003 also.

You can probably use a dictator program (talk to text) 🤷‍♂️ I was just trying to explain every step..
