Oxhorn my wife and I have been watching your fallout vids from the beginning. I still rewatch them over and over again. I really thank you for making them and doing what you do. In a world of so much stress and chaos, your videos always bring us joy and comfort. Thanks brother 🤠👍
Hello, on two of my characters, I WAS able to access the operations section/living quarters. Mercedes Sterns journal and other lore were in that section, including the rare "Huffwarbler Hairbrush". I play on Xbox and that door was open both times after rescueing Digger before going up the elevator, to Gold part, of the vault. Maybe on PC you did not have access, to that area. FYI, Thanks Oxhorn!!!!
This Wastelanders DLC is such a missed opportunity, we have LIVING secret service agents. Yet we can't ask them about pre war america, like who was the president? Who was in his cabinet? How does the Secret Service function in the Fallout world? Is the secret service aware of the Enclave? But nope..
I usually like British guys’ accent when narrating and storytelling in their videos. But your mint condition american English is so easy to follow and listen to. I barely notice I just watched 3 45 minute videos. You’re easy to listen to. I’d like to contribute to your video production someday.
Because Bethesda 😂 also is weird that all accross the country everyone refers to them as ghouls, since communications are down is weird that all people came out with the same idea 😧, even in the walking dead people refers to zombies as , Walkers, Biters, creepers, etc ! Bethesda just didnt think about that, they should be in charge of level design and gameplay , not the writting part, they reaaaally suck at that one
What gets me is that these are Secret Service agents. Minimum age just to work for the SS (lol, ss) is 21. Not likely these folks are newbies, so the minimum I would think their age would be is around 50 and up. None of them look that old. Just a thought.
That's just a recurring problem with Wastelanders in general for me. Everyone looks, and acts, like they're maybe 30. But will drop references to being adults pre-war, like Gentleman Two Guns Johnny there talking about how he had a criminal record pre-war for a major heist he did when you're in the vault. Meaning shouldn't he be like... 50? I know it's not just a case of Bethesda can't figure that out or something. Because they do make the Vault 76 Overseer look like the grandma that she should be time wise. Just seems like 70% of their staff writers or something either forgot it was 26 years later as of Wastelanders... or just didn't conceive of how long that actually is, over an entire generational gap between the apocalypse and now.

The part of the game that makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever is that there’s only like five people there guarding the vault. We roll in with a band of either raiders or settlers and then just accept that we’re not gonna steal the rest of the gold And instead trade with the Secret Service agents. Like honestly, why the hell would we do that? Why would we not just pull it pullet in those five peoples skulls, Then just steal all of the blueprints they want to sell to us and the gold? Like it literally makes no sense.
Most of them were experiments. Officially 76 was a "control vault", where everything worked precisely as expected, but I still think it was an experiment too - what happens when you staff a Vault *only* with "the best and brightest"? Will a CIT-graduate engineer accept his next 25 years mopping the floor around the main reactor? Will they remain calm, or rebel? And eventually the Overseer had to start a series of little contests to bleed off their competitive nature.
I wish they would make Oxhorn a historian NPC. His lore videos bring me such joy. Especially when I play the game and find the bread crumbs, I read the notes in his voice lol!
