Shibe Inu Tbf though as much as I think you need to get a manual wherever you can especially these days when pretty much everything’s automatic only, you really can’t go wrong with the PDK. Everyone agrees it’s the best dual clutch out there

Tony Redemann These days, automatics and especially dual clutches will always be quicker at accelerating than manuals, but the main reason you opt for a manual is full engagement with the car, not speed

Very true. That actually has happened to me twice with my 718 Cayman S. Except to me, the lines of the Cayman/Boxster are a little better thanks to having the engine amidship.

I would go with manual mirrors. Unless you share your car with someone else you set your mirrors once and done.

Another very good fun Review. I bought a GT4 2 weeks ago and I love it. I love this GT4 more than my previous GT3RS. But I feel I have more fun in my 1997 911 (993) air cooled engine sound and the rear engine. A bit more raw. 🦅🦅🇺🇸

I know we'll never get a rational explanation for the scoring system, but when he says practicality has to be a 2 because it's 2 seats... makes no sense. He just went on about how it's more practical than most 2 seaters because of the two storage compartments. It should be at least a 3 to differentiate it from sports cars with zero storage.

@@JayCAlan Totally agree. I would imagine that most people who buy a GT4 don't buy it with families in mind; they either don't have kids to cart around, or they have another family vehicle. I feel that this is far above other sports cars from a practicality perspective, thanks to having both a trunk and a frunk. It's pretty amazing just how much stuff you can pack into a Cayman.

IN 1966 I was on the road in sales and I would stop into a Porsche dealer
for motivation. At the time I was driving a new VW that cost $1685.00.I wanted that 911, however, it was priced at $6490.00 and that was before options. One must have option was the Fuchs wheels which were $465.00 EACH, making that option x4 more than I paid for my VW! Welcome to Porsche! 30 years later I bought a 944. As you say every year the gap grows, maybe it's done to improve your motivation!

@@nicolasrmarca9642 It's fine car nerds just don't like the way they sound. A 4 cylinder fires 4x per rotation, 6 cylinder fires 6x, a V8 fires 8x, V10 10x and V12 12 times per rotation of the crank shaft, so they have a higher frequency noise. Search for like "V12 sounds" vs "v6 sounds" to hear the difference.
Usually "more cylinders = more power" as well but you can just make the cylinders in a 4 cylinder engine really big, and still get big power. They're more efficient with a turbocharger, easier to make fewer things to break, etc.
@@takanara7 different engine types also have different balance characteristics, petrol inline 4 cylinders larger than 2.4L are fairly uncommon because they are inherently unbalanced so vibration becomes a significant issue.
@@nicolasrmarca9642 4 cylinders is ok for something like a toyota 86 but a porsche and cars that are $40k+ in general should not have 4 cylinders.
dont get me wrong a 4cyl turbocharged engine has its benefits but its the principal. its a performance machine, i do not care that ill save gas at lower RPM's, if you're buying a porsche/high end sports car you should only care about performance. if you want good mpg then look elsewhere.
I really enjoy watching someone love a car like that, it makes me feel there are other people like me. It made this video special.
