My first car ever was a 2.4 targa , 13 year old car at that time and not that expensive , now 35 years later i drive a 84 3.2 . Once it got you , you never can live without one ... it put a smile on my face .
I have the same SC in dark blue and i tell my friends the same: it makes me smile everytime i drive it. I would just like to add that it sometimes even gives me sudden jolts of happiness. No other object has ever given me that.
I agree 100% as l own a 1978 911 SC Mine is silver/black coupe with 57k miles and in original stock condition Every time I take my SC out for a drive I can't get the smile off my face!
I love those old cars so much for example the porsch 964 and the 911 sc is so beautiful. But it is a schame that you make such exciting videos and you just know that you will never get to expirience one of those cars. I have got a 996 and it is also a beautiful put together car. I wisch Porsche could produce those old cars again that got the feeling of having a real character.
drive a gt2 rs or a taycan? they dont have character? u for real? the gt3 doesnt count? u must understand, that things that moved us in the past, arent coming back! otherwise u will get a prty hard midlife crises or you are in one atm. the old porsches are special, but they are not at the peak of engineering and that is what porsche always strifes for, with every new model!

Engineers just put more love into their cars than today. I don't say that this also counts for Porsche. I mean just in general. Of course Porsches today also have a lot of character, that's why my life goal is to own a 991/992 Targa S one day. And I'm 15 now. They have character and are beautiful cars. But others like BMW, Audi or Merc just lost the character, except you want to spent a million. Just listen to the old engines. This modern engines without emotions are nothing against that. Also wtf is that electric Taycan. Nope, not with me. I need that sound. Sry to all those Fridays for future freaks
@@lorenzsabbaer7725 I know. I love the gt2rs and taycan aswell, but they are basically just computers by now. They don´t have that mechanical feel to them.
There’s an industrial art quality evident in that engine bay shot. I agree, nothing made today offers that. I’ve thought about changing my 964 for something else, but there is nothing to truly replace it.
