A honeycomb pattern would be cool. Similar to the hex pattern but with smaller hexagons

Can you flute my existing barrel on my rifle? I have a savage 110 light weight storm chambered .270, I would also like to have the barrel threaded for a muzzle break is this something you also do?

ok, but if i have two barrels, both have the same weight, but one is flutted, The myth says that the flutted one it is going to be stiffer and have better heat dissipation. True or false?

Assuming similar contours. For the weight? True on both counts! (assuming the flutes are continuous along the length of the barrel, their "diamond" pattern would lack improved stiffness) For the diameter? False. A 4lb fluted is stiffer than a 4lb non-fluted, but a .810" barrel is stiffer unfluted than a .810" fluted.

Received my 6.5 PRC profit a few weeks ago. Barrel looked very good. It fit the stock inlet perfectly. Sighted it in with Hornady Match ammo. After bore siting the Barrel was extremely precise and accurate. I would not hesitate to purchase another Preferred Barrel
